They are very helpful. Changed a battery in my car key. Got a new toilet handle, and gorilla glue to fix stuff. Everything is marked and clean. Nice store.
Store employees prefer to continue their personal conversations than help customers find items. So you you stand there waiting in plain sight for them to help you.Checkout sometimes takes several re-scans. Self-checkouts at Home Depot, for example, much quicker. Never a thank you said to you after shopping there.Debbie, who never returned my calls, later charged one of my credit cards on file for an order without my authorization - ILLEGAL! They had charged my business account for a personal purchase.Electrical department never has the type of outlet or type of circuit breaker needed. Quicker to get items you need via online than to wait a full week by ordering parts from there - plus their markup. They really need to upgrade to the current times - customer service is more important than ever in a competitive retail climate
Extremely helpful. Even came to parking lot to let me know I overpaid for wood but I let them keep it.
I was looking for fan/ light switch . They had it & it was on sale. Asked if I could use a tape measure at service desk, to check size of plywood . Employee was very nice to help. Thanks . Nice to have a store right around the corner.
Great hardware store with a large wood selection and on-site cutting
Always good place. Old fashioned well organized hardware store real lumber yard. Very helpful staff. This is where the trades go. Reasonable prices.
I rented a U-haul truck from Craftwood Lumber and they did an excellent job of checking me in and out. Great customer service.
Jim in the paint department truly went out of his way to assist. I had a discontinued shade of white Cabot exterior siding stain that Jim went back not only to his paint history books, but also called the manufacturer to verify HOW to tint base white to recreate this shade of white that was used on my home. Jim, thanks for the assist here, a class act!
I took some of paint chip and they made me a gallon of the exact color I needed. The employees are courteous helpful and efficient
You would think Keith McDonald owns the place the way he helps people. I walked in with nothing more than an idea of what I wanted to accomplish and within 20 minutes, Keith had found some affordable materials to get the job done, cut them to the exact specs that I needed, and made more recommendations that would help me out when I got home with the materials. Not only that, but there was never a dull moment around him. He had me laughing and thinking about brain puzzles the whole 5 minutes I was waiting. Give this guy a raise if he wants one.
I always go to Craftwood instead of the big box guys. Heres a perfect example of why. I recently had a small problem regarding some lumber needs. So small I was almost embarrassed to ask for help. But Keith diagnosed the problem, came up with a solution and cut me the small amount of wood I needed. Its always that way at Craftwood. Literally no job is too big or, in my case, too small. Thanks, Keith!
Always seem to have what Im looking for, plus items that are more unique to the craftsman. Atmosphere always makes me feel like Im at an old neighborhood hardware store. Staff are always eager to assist.
For a smallish place, they have almost everything one would want for even the more complicated projects. Staff always helpful and most are very knowledgeable. Prices are almost in line with none sale items at Home depot. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood.
Great for do it yourself folks.
Good place for service
Great customer service. Even in this COVID environment.
Unlike what happens too often at the box stores, the people here are informed and know what theyre talking about. They take you to the aisle and point directly at the stuff youre looking for. The guy in paint is a pro. The guys at the service desk go the extra mile. Highly recommended!
My first time here and I was impressed with their selection.
I use craftwood for almost 20 years. I restore furniture and I shop there all the time for almost all my supplies. The staff is super friendly and very professional . Prices are very fair and they carry a huge variety of product .I’m keep going there( sometime even twice a day) . Because I always be treat with respect and friendly staff.I highly recommend them for all you need. They also have a wood work shop that do miracle.Price are very competitive consider that they are a family business .Thank you !!Valentino Baielli art and antique restoration .
I have been to this store 2x, after recently moving to the area. My first experience consisted of no one around to help; then when I asked for help the salesman seemed bothered to be answering a simple question. My second experience was even worse. After calling to see if they had a product, and waiting on the phone for almost 15 min...I was told they had what I was looking for. I went to the store and once again waited for at least 10 min for someone to help me. When someone was finally able to help they had no idea what I was talking about (I was just looking for a certain type of staple.) Despite being told they had them they did not even carry them. once again the salesman was quite rude. Needless to say I will not be going back and find Ace Hardware much more friendly and helpful.
Very helpful staff!
Doug, Ken, Jim, George, Chase and everyone at the store are just amazing. Great selection of products, well stocked.
I had the most incredible experience tonight at Craftwood Lumber. Keith McDonald helped me out with a radiator issue thats been plaguing me for a while. I came in with pictures, explained the noise I was hearing, and before you knew it .... problem solved. He took the time to explai how my particular system operated in detail, went so far as to draw me a diagram, and walked me through the steps and parts Id need.Id recommend him, and Craftwood, to anybody. Ive only had great experiences here, and tonight was wlanother one of them. Thanks Keith!
I dont care if employees are rude or not helpful as some reviewers complained. This is the only hardware store for miles unless you want to try your luck at HD. I dont recommend thou. The store has pretty much everything I need for my remodeling company.
They have the most complete selection of lumber and hardware than anyone in the area. Truly for the professionals
Wonderful hardware store.
I cant say enough good things about Craftwood or Caity. I knew of Craftwood for a long time but it was never on my radar but when I was in a pinch for an obscure Rustoleum product, their dealer locator sent me there. After buying out all of Home Depots inventory of the product I expected to be disappointed in their prices and quantity on hand but I was pleasantly surprised to find their price was actually lower than their orange counterparts. The young lady Caity who helped me find everything and ordered me more for my next project is helpful and curious. Craftwood has become my default hardware store/ lumber yard ever since. I feel like Im bugging Caity nearly every day with some annoying little project or hard to find part but she always helps me out with a smile on her face and surprises me with her knowledge of not only the products in the store but building materials and processes in general. Im happy to say that Craftwood will be my store from now on whether it be a bulk lumber order or a simple crusant wrench.
Very helpful 👍 Thanks
Kinda organized weird but usually I can find what Im looking for. There is always pretty fast working woman on counter so no long time waiting to pay.
My Go To hardware store. Always nice people, who go out of their way to help me when needed. Nice selection.
Great people to work with and great service. Nothing like a big box store.
I love the lumber area because they cut the wood a right size do you want
Great Place!Very helpful, friendly people.Decent selection
Okay I go in to buy a expensive ladder. I ask the cashier,I need to buy a ladder but I have a small car do you guys deliver? This was the response it cost up to $50 to $60 dollars for delivery. I said, I just live up the street not even a half a mile a way. No response. Then she asks me do I want to be come a rewards member LOL
A nice selection of hardware and rentals for a do it your self kind of person
My favorite local hardware store!
Great selection and very helpful staff.
Always helpful and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Extremely flexible with custom cuts, wide selection of materials, grades, hardware supplies and moldings
Friendly staff, very knowledgeable and huge lumberyard...
Great selection, helpful paint department, local business.
Pretty disappointed to hear about Craftwood Lumber filing class action lawsuits against a competitor for not putting a phone number at the bottom of a fax advertisement. Wont be shopping here again...
This place is terrible! First time going to this hardware store. Workers swearing, and just standing around while I just sat on the stool waiting. Just all around bad
Great service
Very knowledgeable, friendly people.
Always helpful and friendly!
The only guy that didnt give me an attitude that I was inconviencing him was the guy I had to go to in order to get someone to the service counter.Dont care if youre slightly cheaper. Never coming back.
