L9ved the Clothes mentor . High end items gently used or brand new. In todays uncertain economy and another covid wave hitting America and the world again every penny counts. Besides who cares where you buy your merchandise. My 88 year old friend is a millionaire somewhere in Fl and has bargain shopped for years married 3 times beat cancer three times and looks like Jackie Onassis dresses like her to why pay for a designer to get wealthier?

Oh my gosh. Love this place. New favorite consignment in DFW. Very neat, clean smell, pleasant staff. Better than Plato’s in my opinion.

Ive been here a handful of times, i had 1 over all good experience and have gone back hoping to get the same experience and continue to get disappointed (this was with selling and buying) .I am well aware of the margins paid out on items - typically 3 bucks an item and thats on the generous side. I more go with intentions of unloading a few items in my closet and buying some new ones.I have gone in with 3 heavy totes of items. All good brands even some high end brands and havent been offered a single thing. Im talking about vince, chole, brochu walker on the high end side and mid level as such as anthropologie and white house black market and new york and co - they just said everything was too old. However when i posted a new york and co lipstick print top (which i tried selling to them) onto mercari it sold the next day for 21 bucks. Anyway the point is you may have clearly sellable items that people want and they will still pass on them. This is why i will no longer bother attempting to sell to this store, their buyers are more inclined to buy old navy or from kids that are 20 year olds. The selection is a bit on the bland and overpriced side as well.The clothes mentor in Arlington though is a 100 percent better place to sell and shop at, i would definitely recommend shopping there over this one.

They claimed items were more than two years but didn’t look through any of my items that were brand new! They were all still folded the way I brought them in.

One of the most intimate places to shop! I love that the girls working there are always willing to help you and the service is so personal. They do a fantastic job at making you feel taken care of and welcomed. I definitely would recommend this store to anyone who wants to shop second hand.

A gem in Highland Village❤️ Absolutely love this place. Brand name items, from Free People, Zara, Madewell, lulu lemon to name a few... some with tags and in immaculate condition. The ladies at the store are soooo nice, fun and helpful. I enjoy shopping and selling my items there. They are very competitive with prices and give me the best deal that is in the market. I love how the whole process works. I bring my items and shop while I wait. I highly recommend this place and would give it 100 ⭐️if I could. If you are unable to shop in store, they do have an online store and always add new things. Thank you all the ladies at Clothes Mentor 😊 you are all wonderful and beautiful people!

Its hit or miss depends on what youre looking for but in many cases you can get some high-end apparel for a very reasonable price you just have to check it pretty often

I love shopping at this store. The location is great, it has an awesome selection of clothes and accessories and the staff are amazing. Taylor is like my personal shopper. She helps me find the cutest clothes and accessories. Her attitude and genuine care for customers is top notch. Please go check them out and be sure to ask for Taylor.

I went in to do a buy back, however nothing was brought due to items being more than 2 yrs old. When did leather purses being older than 2 yo but less than 5 and in great condition not be of value?

I just walked in to check.this place out again and have been in before but never seem to find anything. So I looked at the new items rack. After finding nothing there I made my way over to the tops. An employee came over to see if there was anything she could help me find. I told her I was interested in Eileen Fisher. She told me that would be throughout the store and then told me where the clearance was. That made me feel uncomfortable. Perhaps my leggings & fleece jacket wasnt fancy enough to shop at a used clothing store. I wasnt looking for the clearance section so I just went ahead and left. I recommend you just shop on eBay. Much better selection and better prices.

I have sold here a few times! Always nice staff especially Taylor!!! They are quick with going through my clothes and letting me know what they can offer me!

Staff is very unfriendly. No feedback for entire large bin of clothes they didn’t accept. Very slim selection of blue jeans and skirts (but incidentally, the ones that I attempted to sell them were VERY gently used in new condition, and they didn’t consider buying them). Won’t be back.

This place is awesome, the staff are very helpful & friendly, the facebook videos are a great way to shop anytime anywhere, they will even hold items for you, I have also participated in the buy back program and the pay is pretty good, better than I would get in a garage sale or nothing at all if I donated. I have found some amazing deals here on name brands!!! Keep being awesome 😊

Love shopping here! Well organized store. Clothes and brands are in style and priced well. Theres no sorting through junky, stained clothes here.... everything is in perfect condition and ready to wear! Love their Happy Hour sales too!

Clothes Mentor Highland Village has very quickly become one of my favorite stores! Not only do they have a fantastic selection of name brand clothes, but every employee is eager to assist and make my experience a good one. They are also great about keeping me updated via Facebook so I always know when new great arrivals come in. I highly recommend this store!!

I would give this place a negative 100. I took high end leather pieces and they offered me $3 per piece! Hayley the buyer is a moran and rude! Sell your items personally. Dont bother with this place. Also, the store smells like the Goodwill.

Find an employee you like who knows your style and keep their card. You can call them ahead of time and they can select some clothing items before you get in store. Make sure to tell them your age, size, what you like, and what specific clothes.

They have a decent collection of clothes. A bit overpriced. Okay for buyer but not to sell. They offered me $7.25 for a dress and 3 tops. All new with tags still on from New York and Co l. ect..(Good brands) I get more for my kids used clothes at Once Upon a Child. Dont waste your time selling clothes here!

No respect for people’s time.The employees will take your buy have a few conversations walk around the store check their phones do everything they need to do and keep people waiting when they’re giving people a timeframe of when they will be done buying the items they brought in. Seems like they’re more interested about what they’re doing in their day than actually being at work. I will never come to this location again alliance is way more professional and they actually get through your clothes fast as well as have way better options to buy from

This store is amazing! The employees are awesome. I have found so many cute clothes and accessories in this store. I’ll keep shopping here. This is one of the best thrift store in DFW area. I also went to the Cloth Mentor in FW area but I think this one is better!

Great selection and pricing. They buyers have a good eye. Decent plus size selection. However, they hardly buy compared to other like stores.

I really appreciated their system for selling clothes. They also give you reasonable prices for them as well. A lot of good deals for young to older women, including professionals.

I adore Clothes Mentor Highland Village as both a shopper and seller. All of the associates here are super sweet and go out of their way to help me.Everytime I stop by I take in clothes Im no longer wearing and shop while they go through them. Theyre super speedy! I usually shop for far longer than it takes them to finish my order.Ive found some killer deals here. Most recently I found the cutest pair of shoes that were originally over $200 for only $35!! Bonus, everytime you sell you get a coupon for $5 a purchase of $25 or more.My only complaint: I always find way more than I need. Keep doing what youre doing, ladies 😀

Ive recently found this little treasure of a store. They are really kind and helpful. I particularly like White House Black Market and found several items for very reasonable prices.

#1 fav place to shop! Love bargain shopping here. Right next to Walmart. Well organized. Love this place. Only sad to hear they are not going to open until noon on Sundays as of 4-7-19. Thats when I always go. GrrrrrAlso check out Clothes Mentor. Only a mile or so away. Great store too.

Very disappointed with the buying process! I took a pair of Chanel shoes, in very good condition, including box and dust covers, shoes were $850, they offered me $75.00?? really. I also had other high-end shoes Tory Burch, Michael Kors, all in very good condition, the total offered $150 for 5 pair of shoes! I took the same shoes over to another resale store $250 just for the Chanel. Clothes Mentor does not recognize high fashions. The staff is young and immature, I dont know how they price things, but Im very disappointed. The facebook posts are very misleading regarding high-end merchandise.

I cant tell you how rude and irresponsible their employees are. The employees only buy what they want to wear and while they twitter and twirl like customers with merchandise (I mistook two for customers until I saw their bashes), you have to wait. They dont buy gently worn clothing or anything with tags, but they have rags on hangers that Id never wear on aisle after aisle. Go to Target.
