Three months ago I took my John Deere mower to this place to change a simple fuel pump, the part cost $20 plus the work, I was told it could take up to a week for the work to be done, three months later the guys that told me that no longer works there and now I’ve talked to two different employees since then each told me a different reason for it taking so long as well as different prices for the work, first quote was $150 the second was $350 and now it’s $600 as well as the mower has a flat tire and a dead battery which it didn’t when I dropped it off, this place is not only conning the community but have different employees what seems every week, not only will I never go to this place again but never buy anything John Deere again. I hope this helps others from getting ripped off.

Ian Higgins was my salesman & wow I have tell you he is 1st class honest, dedicated, thorough individual. He contacted, communicated, followed up in all aspects of customer service with the Cooperate office to assure I was satisfied & pleased. He went out of his way to get me the equipment I wanted & didnt stop until he found it. He accomplished for me what several other competitive product dealerships couldnt do in finding my equipment and making it happen. It is very hard to find that type of equipment salespeople and thanks I really appreciate it. Ian you have really impressed me with your abilities in putting the customer 1st and making all this happen. Seems like these days it takes so much to get any thing done. Took my Stihl 660 here to see if they could replace the crankshaft bearings that were leaking. Explained that I only needed those replaced and no other work done. Told me they would call with an estimate in a few days.They end up calling my wifes phone number? I call them back the next day to see if there is an update (none) and give them my phone number. Two weeks go by and I hadnt heard a word. I finally go in to have my saw returned and find that the estimate was ready but no one had called me to confirm the work.Wont be making the mistake of coming here again.

Worst customer service I have ever received from any place, hands down. They picked up the riding mower because it would not start consistently, told me there was nothing wrong with it so I picked it up as I needed it. Still would not start so they got it again. Took two weeks to fix it, I was promised several times I would get it back before the holidays and then I call today and it’s a week before they can bring it back... never again am I spending another cent hereEdit: And of course the mower was not actually working when I got home so I had to take it back. Several trips, almost $900 and still nothing

My husband took his zero-turn there for yearly maintenance had it forever and couldnt find it, finally got it back just to see half the stuff was not done done mower deck was dirty blades werent sharpen second set of blades that we gave them they kept. Later on in the year for service gave us a quote end up being twice as much as a quote still doesnt work correctly, because they misdiagnose the problem fix something that wasnt broke but we still had to pay for it $400 down the drain also had a set of blades to be sharpened didnt get them back. if I could give this and -500 I would I would never go to the Hilliard location ever again.

Even though I didn’t buy anything today, I will be coming back when I need a mower next spring. I stopped by today and was greeted by every employee I saw as I walked around the store. Completely different atmosphere from a car dealership where thy attack you as soon as you come in and want to drain your wallet. A very business causal, relaxing store. Highly recommend!

Overall a good place to go for equipment and service. The missing star is because the service department can be extremely busy. It would be helpful if they did a better job of communicating timing and progress for customers bringing in equipment for service.

While I like the machine the staff is unhelpful and not competent. The purchase deal was they will include a spare set of blades if I pay their asking price (a small concession) they sold me the mower and refused to honor the agreement for the blades. Liars.Later I needed a mulching kit as seen on the manufacturers website. The parts counter was adamant about no such thing is available for this mower. Ended up ordering it online from a dealership in Florida!Also a problem with the choke sticking on since new was unable to be resolved.I dont consider ag pro or jd equipment or whatever theyre calling themselves now a legitimate dealership.

Came to the Hilliard location in search of a new zero-turn mower. Our salesman was professional and straight to the point when it came to my questions about the different mower brands, as well as differences between models from a specific maker. I was able to test drive several mowers in my price range which, coupled with my salesmans comments, made it easy for me to make a choice. Cant wait to mow with our new Scag Cheetah. We won a zero turn mower from the Parade of Homes last summer from this store. The process to get it delivered was great and we were given a tutorial when it arrived. The service at the store was fantastic as they followed up to make sure everything was going well with the mower. The mower works fantastic and its a dream come true to have one! It was a great experience and I will be back for any future mower needs!

We highly recommend JD Equipment. Site Maintenance Landscaping, our commercial landscape company, leased all new equipment and we are very happy with our new mowers. JDs price was competitive but what won us over even more is the customer service. With multiple locations we know we are covered if we have an issue in the field. I have purchased several pieces of equipment from them. I never price shopped them since I like the idea of having a local company that can perform maintenance on my equipment. Typically they have had a level of service I expect - nothing more.This year I bought a $5,000 zero turn mower from them and it was delivered in my absence. When I arrived home I found the metal steering box that the control levers mount to, covered in rust as well as other various other parts rusted. The seat was stained, and the entire machine was filthy. I thought it was a used machine, except for the few hours it had. Since they are closed Sat PM and Sunday, I had no choice but to use it that weekend. I also ordered a bagger that I was told would be delivered in a week and took over a month. After a month of discussion and sending pictures, their resolution was offering me 2 quarts of free oil, which I declined. My advice is order it from a big box store if possible.

The quality of their merchandise is awful and when your having trouble with assembling their product because parts are missing they offer no help replacing the parts...not even if I bought the parts.When I asked them about returning the product they smiled and said they don’t have any use for used equipment. I think it’s safe to say I won’t buy anything from JD Equipment again nor will I spend extra money to buy overpriced John Deer junk.

Stopped in to get a spark plug for my powerwasher and ended up leaving with a new Stihl weed trimmer. The people at the parts counter were all welcoming and very nice. Their Store Manager even thanked me for my purchase! I couldn’t believe how nice everyone was. I will definitely be bringing my mower in to get serviced this winter and recommend them to all friends and family.

Got a tune-up kit for my 140 rider. Gave me wrong air filter. Now have to drive 60 miles to return. Why do I have to spend my time and gas to get the right one? Does anyone take responsibility for there mistakes? Why cant the guy that made the mistake bring the part to me!!! NEW POLICY?

I was very interested in buying a 1025R TLB. Stopped by at 455 not know they closed at 5. Was looking at the 1025R just out side thier front door(so I was seen). Went to walk in at 5:05 door was locked. There was two gentlemen sitting right inside the door at their deck. Both seen me not one approached me. Not even a sorry we are closed can I get your name and number. As a salesman myself even if closed I always helped out. Needless to say I’ll be buy a 1025R TLB else where. Costumer service must be a thing of the past.

Half way fixed my mower. It starts for now but the throttle still has no control on the engine. It just runs wide open. I guess another week and a half in the shop while I keep renting an Exmark zero turn from BPS. Man, I am starting to like those Exmark mowers, nice seat and really blows the clippings. Will be on my next shopping list.

You agreed to allow us to return the original tractor and quite simply, you made it right...you took care of the customer. Very few American business do this anymore. He did an Outstanding job explaining and demonstrating the machine. He was professional and very informative. I really liked the fact that he was willing to stay on scene for more than a hour, making sure we got it right. Dropped my mower blades off to be sharpened. No call after weeks of waiting, I went in to see if they were done. It took a while for the guy at the counter to find my order and after inspection I discovered that the blades hadnt been sharpened. I pointed this out to the guy and he told me to hang around a few in the store and hed run back and put an edge on them. A few minutes later and some licks with a hand grinder my blades were returned to me. I asked the guy if hed balanced them and he said no but he could have hung them from a nail. $18 bucks later Im out the door for about half the price of new blades. Next time I need blades sharpened Ill probably do it myself.

Stay away from their service department! They dont stand by their work & dont own up to their mistakes. Even the store manager Jimmy said it was my fault! I was going to purchase a new one from them, but not now.I ended buying a brand new lawn mower from Parrots John Deere in Richwood OH. Great friendly service & they even gave me $500 for my trade in! Go there if you want to be taken care of the way any customer should.

Each time I have shopped around other dealers in the area and JD had the best selection of equipment and was able to give me a great deal. I received a great deal on a well maintained used JD riding lawnmower. They have an awesome selection of Stihl items, a few of which I purchased and very much enjoy (string trimmer and blower). The staff can handle any question you might have and will get you in and out and on your way in little time.I have been back a few times since and have found that they are very accessible if you have any questions after you leave. The staff is also adament about caring for your machine and will educate you on some easy-care tips.

I proudly purchased a Stihl BG56C leaf blower last summer from this location for residential use. It was overkill for my needs but wanted a good reliable blower that would work when i needed it to. The salesman was nice and talked me up from the entry unit. The blower has worked flawlessly through leaf season and even saw some winter mornings to dust off a walkway or car. A few weeks ago i after a brief start-up i shut it off and had a hard time restarting it. In hindsight i likely flooded the carb. In my hast i overstroked the EZ Start system and damaged the springs trying to restart it. I disassembled the rip cord assembly and saw at least one damaged spring. I re-assembled and took it in for service hoping for a quick turn around. I explained the symptoms and told them 1 spring was definitely bad. A few days later i got a call indicating that 2 springs needed replaced and I re-assembled the parts incorrectly. Estimate was $130 total. $20 in parts / $50 diagnostic fee / $60 in repair labor. The repair cost is not far off what i spent for the leaf blower new. I requested to order the parts but do not repair. Once parts came in I stopped in the store and picked up my blower. The service counter worker (Gary) was very nice and explained the $50 diagnosis fee and was very apologetic to return my equipment in pieces. I watched a few youtube videos and repaired my blower in 30 mins. This is a leaf blower its not rocket science. A trained tech probably could have done it in 5mins. I understand there is overhead costs to run a business, but their business model is structured to make money not keep customers. I was hoping to support a local business but examples like this are why residential homeowners buy disposable equipment and the box stores. I do not plan on returning to this Stihl dealership

I went to their Hilliard location last Tuesday and this past Saturday I walked around inside and outside Tuesday and after 20 minutes I went inside an ask can I get a little help in Felt like I was Bothering them a worker gave me a Brochure on a 0 turn mower I left an said that I will try again. i went back This Saturday I Did the same thing walking and looking no one said give me a minute and I help you after 15 /20 minutes I left and will take my money Some Were Else.
