We are visiting from out of town and I noticed the diamond on my ring was a little loose. I called and they were able to fix it for me the same day. Even cleaned it! I’m grateful because everywhere else told me it would take a week! The gentleman who did it was really nice and straight to the point! He took good care of us! Highly recommend!

Ive had a number of repairs made at this shop. The jewelers are friendly, helpful and their work is reasonably priced. My husband lost a stone from a silver ring he bought in New Mexico. Another jeweler turned up his nose and said they couldnt replace the stone. Hillard-Rome was happy to do the work and matched the stone perfectly. I think it is important to know that a jewelry store not only sells pieces but is willing to repair them as well. Hilliard-Rome has some gorgeous pieces on display. If youre thinking of buying a piece of fine jewelry I would start here.

Great first experience here. I brought my watch in for a battery replacement. He replaced the battery very quickly while I waited and charged a very reasonable price. I asked for a quote on cleaning my watchband so he took my watch and cleaned it for free. Very good service, very nice person, very fair prices. Highly recommend!

Do not come here to get any kind of repairs. My husband brought a diving watch with a scratched crystal to be repaired. Repairs were done in a reasonable time, and we picked it up. Seemed great. Then, a couple hours later, as we were driving around, the crystal popped out of the watch and fell on the floor of the car. We called the store, and the man who answered the phone didnt seemed concerned or surprised; he told us to bring it back. We did, and he said there must have been some crimp in the gasket that caused it to pop off (where is the gasket now? Did they forget to put it in?). He said he would fix it again and we could pick it up next week. Its a diving watch, so we asked if he could guaranteee that it would still be waterproof after all of this. He said it wasnt waterproof to begin with. After we told him it was a diving watch (and he looked at it and agreed), he shrugged and said it was a repair and he cant guarantee anything. We asked him if he didnt stand behind his work, and then he got very angry. We asked for our money back so we could go somewhere else. He gave us a refund but refused to give us the crystal face back, so now we have a watch that is missing a face and a gasket, so its more broken than it was when we brought it in. Do not get anything repaired here. They will do a terrible job, refuse to stand behind their work, and return your items more broken than they were when you brought them in.

New customer here. Had a 14k gold rope chain, the spring on the clasp broke. Brought it in on a Thursday morning & by Friday at noon, I was told it was ready. I came in based off the reviews..I see why fhey are so good. Thank you!! Will be back in the future!!

Amazing! I bent my engagement ring while I was doing laundry (Ive got a very thin band) and brought it in for repair. Somehow, the finished product was much more beautiful than the original ring!!! He also creatively replaced the setting of the diamond with a stronger/more durable setting, which showcases the diamond much more than before. I couldnt be happier with the finished product and price.

I was a first time customer, just had a very tiny and lightweight gold necklace that broke at a link. I left it with MJ and he called me a day later to pick up, good as new and cheaper than I expected. A+ service and quality all the way.

I took 4 watches to be cleaned and have batteries replaced 1 watch worked fine and when he gave it back he said it was broken,hmmm and it would cost 168.00 to fix....i just put it away for another day so today I got the watch out and notice one of the buttons that starts the stop watch just pulled out.....never go to this shister

Very friendly. Seemed pretty fair prices. I just got my ring back from being resized. The actual sizing is great. But the inside of my ring looks scratched with poor finish. Looks like attention to detail was not paid. Also some of the engraving I had on it is now not able to be seen all the way. Im kinda disappointed. Hopefully going to get this fixed after I return from my trip.

I receive an estimated price and time frame to pick up my jewelry and a ticket number for my piece. I love this place and feel comfortable leaving sentimental jewelry with them.

I just received my second custom family heirloom ring made by MJ In the last year. They are both unique and beautiful beyond words . He took my visions and made them reality . His personal service and kindness and dedication to his profession are amazing. The beauty is in the details.It may take a while to get your jewelry because he is a perfectionost. My husband went here to get my engagement ring custom made. He worked with M.J and they came up with the perfect ring for me. He gave us a great deal and i get so many compliments on the ring. We also got our wedding bands here which fit our personalities perfectly. I accidently hit my ring on a shelf and knocked one of the small diamonds out. M.J fixed it in 24 hours and even cleaned and buffed out the scratches. It looks brand new. This is a great place i am so thankful my husband found it, we will be customers for life.

Next time if someone will gonna go to your store and ask for repair for their jewerly please CHECK the item properly even if its just a small piece of repair just for you and for your customer safety and trust not having a doubt of anything Not just saying yeah we can repair it and BAM just look at the jewerly and give a blue stab not even check it bcoz u never know if that jewelry they brought to you might have a very important piece of memory to them or theres a sentimental value that they are trying to keep restore bcoz that jewerly might very important to the person who is asking for a repair.😏🙄

We were needing to have a last minute jewelry appraisal and M.J. Walsh, the owner and jeweler of Hilliard-Rome Jewelry repair, offered his immediate services. He spent a good 40 mins. carefully weighing, recording and appraising our pieces right in front of us, and then did not charge us anything. While there I mentioned to his lovely wife that I had always wanted to have a sterling silver necklace that is 15 instead of the reg. 16 size. She showed me several chains and offered to have M.J. shorten them for me at the most reasonable price I have even seen. The chains were so beautiful and the price so reasonable that I ordered 2 of them that they will shorten and mail to me at home in Boston. If I lived in the area THIS would be my GO TO for good jewelry and repairs, hands down. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Im going to start by saying, the service was A1. I needed a few items cleaned and fixed before leaving for vacation. I was last minute making it to the store because of packing. But less than a day later all my items looked brand new, just in time! I will be referring all my friends and family here for there jewelry repairs.

Unprofessional. Took in some expensive jewelry for repair. He hardly looked at it, gave me a quick quote and a vague receipt like a coat check receipt. He seemed rude. Wouldnt give an approximate date of pick up. He would call me. Didnt photograph or describe the pieces. I felt uncomfortable but left the pieces. Website says he photographs pieces. Was there a hidden camera? I phoned after 3 days. He said the work was on his desk but wouldnt give me a date for completion. I went in after 4th day and asked for my jewelry back. Nothing had been done. He threw it on the counter and I picked it up and walked out.
