Incredible staff!!!! I can’t recommend Aloha Sew and Vac enough! I loved my experience there while purchasing a new sewing machine. Kimberly was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I really appreciated her help. The store also has a wonderful selection of sewing supplies and fabrics. I haven’t yet explored the vacuum selection, but I will definitely be a regular of this store so I’m sure that time will come!

BEST SERVICE EVER! I absolutely love this store! I would highly recommend this store to anyone! I was given the BEST private lesson and learned soo much about my machine! Everyone is always so nice and wonderful to talk to- they go out of their way to help you.I was sooo thrilled to buy this embroidery unit and its been nothing but a HUGE joy to work on 😍 It was just what I needed!

After attending the Monthly Club Meetings I bought an embroidery machine for a great deal. It was only after I joined a class that I began to learn how to use my machine. As I hit new challenges I call Kimberly or Melissa, ideas are given and I am on my way. I am finishing my first embroidered quilt which I plan on entering into shows this new decade. I am so excited to be back into sewing obsession nirvana. I feel like I have found a new family.

The gentleman at the service counter was very kind. I brought my machine in for a tune up because it wasn’t sewing well, and he advised me that I didn’t need a tune up immediately (it was definitely operator error!). I will definitely bring my machine back for a tune up once it is due. Great shop!

Very impressed with the community mindness and setting found at Aloha Sewing & Vacuum. For a year I visited, asking a lot of questions and perusing their many offerings without buying anything.They were always attentive, so kind and helpful and treated me as if I were family or a friend. Very kind and good people. When the time was right I bought a beautiful sewing machine. I visited the upstairs training room where several people were in a class with their sewing machine. The feeling of community and friendship was amazing. Great store to have in a community. I will continue to purchase my high quality products from them supporting local business, but also because they are a strong family owned company who work so hard in beautifully supporting our community in so many talented ways with their technical and product excellence as well as beauty of heart. Many, many years of great, friendly service and products. We have sent many friends to them because they only sell what they believe in and they totally back up what they sell. Im sure I would have bought many more things from them if their Service Department hadnt always done such a good job repairing whatever Ive taken in to them. It is so much easier to buy local - support local when they are Aloha Sew n Vac.

This review has been a long time coming. I have been going to Aloha Sew and Vac for 1 1/2 years now. They are always so friendly and greet me by my name and with a smile when I come in. I have taken many sewing and embroidery classes with them and it is always a great learning experience and fun! They really showed exceptional customer service in regards to my mom. She had purchased a Brother sewing machine from another dealership and had so many problems with her machine. Took it into Aloha Sew and Vac and they took the time to really listen to her and help resolve all issues with her machine. I also have never felt pressure to buy anything I did not need. They are so passionate about what they do and I love that they are local. I will continue to bring them my business as long as we live in Oregon!

Went to fix Bissell vacuum cleaner. It was an easy fix. Belt wasnt broken, just lots of dog and cat fur stuck on it. Put a new belt on, no charge for labor. Got a spare belt as well.

We had a pleasant talk with our daughter and son-in-law theyre doing a terrific job their place of business is spotless and they carry the biggest line Ive ever seen in any vacuum cleaner store and theyre doing very good business because of it and everybody should go there at least once just to take a pic to see what a great story this, her loving father

Great customer service. Friendly and informative staff. I felt very welcome, and returned to buy my new sewing machine from them. And in doing that I have a lifetime discount on their fabric.

Went to Aloha Vac and Sew yesterday with my wife to see about classes and sewing cabinets. The salesperson there not only insulted our intelligence, but didnt listen at all to what our situation is and tried to sell us on expensive machines even though my wife is just getting into sewing and doesnt know how far she wants to go.Complete waste of time and were never going back.Try treating your customers with respect, actually listening to their needs and not getting snooty because they bought a sewing machine from Costco. By the way, I should notify Brother that one of their dealers is bad mouthing the products they sell elsewhere.

Took my vacuum in for a cleaning. Paid $122 and took it home. It did not work. I took it back and they found that a circuit board was broken. They would not accept responsibility for it but did solder it back together. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they would send a new board to them to replace it. Joel, the owner said they were not willing to do the work! Called the company and they said they will pay Starks to do it. I wont be back to Aloha Sew & Vac. I saw a similar review online by somebody else with a sewing machine, so be warned..

Overpriced. You can seriously almost buy a new sewing machine for what they want you to pay to service them. But they are a very friendly family business and took some time to walk me through possible problems and made suggestions for how to fix them.

Kind helpful and knowledgeable staff. I didnt get what I came for because that fabric pattern is discontinued but I found other lovely things to be happy with.

Didnt really help me. I had pictures of my vacuum and I needed a filter. Only asked for model number didnt bother helping looking it up. Told me they would be open to 6 and come back with it. EBay it is. So bad I wanted help local business.

Had problems finding the belt for my hover wind tunnel model, they had it and helped me find the correct one, when another company wanted to sell me the wrong part and insisted it was corrrect! Thank you, will be back!!!!!

I had signed up online for a sewing lesson 2 weeks before the scheduled date. I showed up five minutes before class and was initially dismissed(rather haughtily) by the lady there saying they had nothing scheduled for the day. When I whipped out my phone to show her the receipt she started speaking and then stopped and said she would get to me after finishing up with a customer there. After I had waited patiently until she finished dealing with her customer, she asked if I had registered online and then said that was the problem. A boy who worked there pointed out that there was a entry on their clipboard for a class today and then the story changed to you were the only one signed up for class today so Melissa was going to call you to cancel but I guess she didnt. No other explanation was forthcoming and no apology either for something that was obviously a mistake on their end. She then added that the online payment hadnt gone through yet and when they do get my money, they would refund it. I have never received worse customer service or been treated so badly anywhere else.

They do classes and see very helpful.
