More beneficial was the conversation with Jake. He was exceptional in educating us on various mattresses and manufacturers. He thoroughly understands the product, and has a methodology to help one find the best mattress, not the best sale for the store. THAT was apparent and truly appreciated. My wife and I came here on Memorial Day weekend and was helped by Brian Pham. Brian was amazing! We had done some research prior to shopping and this was our first stop with full intentions of shopping around. Brian was very knowledgeable about all the products on the market, He took the time to ask questions and made some great recommendations while be patient with us trying different mattresses. He made it a very comfortable experience and will definitely be referring him to friends and family.

My husband and I were in the market for a new mattress. Usually I shop around because different stores have different offers. Jake was the sales person and made us feel very comfortable. As my husband started to nod off, I was looking at reviews and prices. Jake was right, no one would have a lower price. We also got some Bedgear Storm 2.0 pillows and OMG! Had a great experience here. Tried a couple places first, but Bryan our salesman did a great job getting the bed I liked to our price to where we wanted it, I feel like I got the hookups going here. There was even an issue with the delivery where they delivered but didn’t install the bed, and he went above and beyond to make sure it got taken care of that day. Really amazing helpful service from Bryan.

We went to 2 other places and this by far was the best! Brian Pham helped us out with product selection and putting the details together. There was a potential delivery issue and we called Brian and he took care of that too. Was pretty happy with the experience and the mattress seems great.

Had a great experience buying a mattress here. Originally we were just going to get a mattress for our spare room, but the deals were to good to pass up. Brian is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The store itself was super clean and well lit. if you want a good quality mattress, this is the place to go.

The process of purchasing a king sized bed can be very stressful. Depending on what you want, the final invoice can be equivalent to that of a new small vehicle. And, with all the different options out there, it can be real easy to get lost in all the pros and cons.On Labor Day 2020, I walked into Mattress World NW in Hillsboro, OR. ready to deal with this stressful task. I visited that particular day because (1) I was hoping to cash in on Labor Day sales and (2) my wife was out of town with our children visiting her mother; and, she granted me full decision making rights on our new bed purchase.Brian Pham was working that day and did an absolutely fantastic job making me feel welcomed, comfortable and informed about the process. I spent quite a bit of time there test driving several different styles and types of mattresses. Brian was very patient and very informative during the whole process. At the end of the day, I could not make a decision. Brian assured me that, while I may miss out on some Labor Day specific sales, he would do his very best to meet my needs and that there wasnt any need to rush on a big decision like this. So, I left the store with no bed; yet, tons of information and some decisions to make.I returned the next morning with yet more questions for Brian. Again, he was very patient, very cooperative and very informative. However, I, once again, left the store without purchasing anything.I did return, yet again, that same afternoon and I came in and bluntly challanged Brian. I directly said, Brian. I really want this bed. But, I dont want to pay this price.Folks, this is when Brians magic truly shined. He knew what kinds of things I was liking, he knew what kinds of things I was NOT liking, and he had an idea of what kind of budget I was working with. He worked his magic and I ended up with an absolutely truly fantastic purchase. I did not end up with the exact bed advertised at the price I didnt like; but, Brian did work his magic and set me up with exactly what my wife and I have completely fallen in love with (and we didnt even know we wanted it!).I can further compliment this experience by mentioning that Brian was able to get us our bed set within a week!!! In the past, when weve purchased new beds, it has been a norm to have to wait 4 to 6 weeks. We had our brand new bed installed (and old one hauled away) within a week!!! And, the delivery crew was professional, clean, mask-wearing, and very quick (they were in and out within 30 minutes).But, the awesomeness doesnt stop there. I showed back up at Mattress World NW with more questions (about disassembly and re-assembling) AFTER the purchase was complete and paid for. Brian did not hesitate, at all, to throw himself on the floor and show me exactly how deal with the hoses, the controllers, and the electrical plugs. He went further and and threw a bed frame onto its side to show me all the pieces I need to be concerned about and how to deal with each. Again, he had me leave there with a WEALTH of knowledge.Brian, thank you, so much, for the experience. You made this very easy, safe-feeling, and truly contributed to this very confident feeling I have about our purchase. Thank you, again, for everything. Unfortunately for you, we might not be back for another 25 years! LOL! Thank you, Brian!

Tim Lowery was the man who helped my husband, Kevin, and I with buying our new mattress. What we really liked about Tim was that he was no pressure, did not swoop down on us like a vulture when we walked in the door. I hate that when sales people do that. He was very knowledgeable about all the mattresses, was also interested in our budget constraints and really helped us, in my opinion, pick out the very best mattress we could get. I would highly recommend Tim, although from what he told me, this is not his regular store. He was filling in for the man who usually works in this store. Tim is out of the Clackamas store. But since Mattress World is a family run business, Id not expect any less treatment from any of their sales people. They are locally owned and its obvious that they care beyond the sale. Thank you, Tim, for making this a stress free purchase. We do appreciate that, along with the freebies.

I really can’t say enough about my new mattress purchase. Seriously this bed is so amazing and I have never been an Aireloom mattress owner but I can tell this is going to last for years. Unfortunately, I was shopping to purchase a new mattress after not quite 3 years and I stopped into Mattress World Northwest in Hillsboro where I met Jay. He helped made me understand why my last purchase did not last as long as I thought it should have when I bought it from one of the local competitors. Jay shared his vast knowledge on mattress brands from quality and durability to style and comfort level. There was absolutely no pressure, Jay made me feel like whatever mattress I did chose was all up to me. I truly believe in paying for what you get and after my last mattress purchase I wasn’t going down that road again. I then felt like I needed to take my time weighing my pros and cons. I then left and went home to do my research. I finally made my decision on the Aireloom Marin Cobalt Collection mattress. I can tell that I won’t be tossing and turning and I was also assured that I won’t be sweating as well. I finalized my purchase with Jay’s recommended Malouf Bamboo sheets. The sheets are absolutely AMAZING!!! My advice is do not hesitate to order as I did waste a week hoping to get a warranty on my previous mattress from the competitors which I did not!!! You will be totally and completely happy that you went to see Jay. 

The store was open late on Saturday night, and was very helpful and honest.

The salesperson said it would be 1-2 weeks to deliver a bed we ordered to make a sale on a more expensive unit. In reality the delivery time is 4-6 weeks. If I could go back and do this all again, I would not shop at Mattress World.

We were looking for a Cal-King mattress to buy to replace our old bed and wanted to get a bed that allowed us to control the firmness of our bed. After shopping around at several other mattress stores, thank God that we came across Mattress World! The other major bed manufacturer which makes a numbered adjustable bed was way overpriced and didnt have the quality or features that we really wanted. But Mattress World did. Justin helped us and we found exactly what we needed. Justin was extremely knowledgeable and didnt play the sales game which many other retailers did. He showed us the Cal-King Q9 and matched it with the BT-3000 base and we had the ultimate bed. It is a split head bed which gives my wife and I full control on our individual preference for firmness while allowing each of us to maintain our separate head and foot levels. The bed is the ultimate in comfort and best of all, as soon as my wife slept in it the first night, she woke up for the first time in over 10 years not complaining about back and leg pain. So thank you Justin for your professionalism, kindness, patience and knowledge which has finally given us the ultimate in comfortable sleep!!From a more technical side on this, here are some of the features that totally convinced us that the Instant Comfort bed was the best choice for us. The most obvious was price vs. features and quality. For what Mattress World had compared to the other major retailer selling numbered bed systems, Mattress Worlds product was far superior in quality and features. This included many things that most mattress shoppers dont think about when shopping for a mattress like the durability of the air hose and air bladder, inflation and deflation times of the air bladders, are the air bladders separate or joined together, and if you are looking for an adjustable bed like we were, does it come with a remote control? One aspect of our mattress that we found to be very unusual and we never heard of was that the Mattress World mattress can either be upgraded (or downgraded) at any time. Since the mattress layers are separate pieces, you can actually replace individual layers of the mattress at any time. We felt that this benefit was extremely important to us since we are making a long term investment into our personal comfort and we didnt want to think about ever having to buy another mattress again. I hope this review doesnt bore you with tons of details (and there are many more I could add), but if you ask for Justin and have him help you select the right mattress for your specific needs, he will be more than willing explain all the benefits of what he has to offer. I am so thrilled that my wife is finally having no more pain when she wakes up and that we finally have a mattress that is the best available on the market and well never have to go mattress shopping again!!
