A natural foods delight, over priced cacao butter. Found the same brand delivered from Amazon for 5 bucks less. Delivered...

I went here especially for one item, but they were out of it. The staff member who was stocking the shelves took my name and phone number, and said they would call me when it arrives. I thought how nice, that I wouldnt have to return just to check the shelf. Pleasant customer service !

Amazing wild caught tuna salad, pickled cucumbers and purple potato salad. Found some great fruit and veggies on sale and I appreciate that they carry a variety of refrigerated Pea Protein Milk and Oat Milk here! Products are mostly organic and lots of local items. Items are a bit expensive but worth it for such a great selection.

Love to get my grains, sugars, flours, beans, and just about anything of the sort in bulk here. They have jars for a great price that you can buy to use to avoid the plastic bags. Then you can also bring them back to reuse them time after time. Prices are fantastic! Usually spend a fraction of my estimated budget. Also very pleasant staff and lots of helpful signage as well as a safe and clean environment for those worried about germs/pathogens.

Love the customer service at this place. Of course it is a health food store, so it is a little bit pricey. The produce is not always perfect, but always organic. The store is clean. The deli food ranges from a-little-bland standard health food deli fair, to pretty good. I usually buy cheese (which they have the best selection around,) and some decent baked bread or focaccia, and fruit when I lunch here, but the sushi is not too bad. Great bulk, vitamins, etc... what you would expect largely.

This is one of many island markets on the big island of Hawaii. They stock many green and organic products that are very popular today with millennials and health conscious consumers. There is also a large hot food bar with standard 9 dollars per pound cooked food. There is also a large selection of ready made salads and bowls. There is a section for all locally made Hawaii goods if you are looking to support the local economy, and they carry suntan lotion that doesnt have the ingredients that is damaging to reefs. If you are looking for bargains I would skip this place, but if you are willing to drop some coin on quality I cant recommend this place enough.

You can find great herbs, teas, same product different brands, fresh. Organic, good local products also, gifts with local motives, natural medicines. Poultry, meat, fish, local eggs.Frozen products an food just made. Good for take out, Breakfasts, lunches, early dinners. Close around 8pm. Big parking lot. Prices are not in the inexpensive side. Some discounts for seniors and students. They also sell wine.

They are loaded up with the cute collage girls that shop there. There security guard is scary. My girl wont even go in the store when that bald headed guy is working the door. Shop lifting must be rampet, Ive seen two people get hemed up,and they turn them over to the cops

Carrot cake and lilikoi cheesecake are our favorites. In general, very pricey.

Good selection of bulk foods, spices, and produce thats organic and/or locally grown. Isles are filled with a wide variety of healthy grocery options and natural versions of all your favorite packaged foods. I love buying the Dr. Bronners soap available in bulk because I can refill my containers, make my own custom scent blends, and the price is great!

I love the ono desserts they have. Lilikoi mousse! 😋 Great variety, too.

They have a nice selection of hot and cold food and beverages. Lots of locally grown produce. If you are looking to improve your health this is an excellent place to start.

I had a bad watermelon and they gave me an in store credit no problem.

Very nice selection of unusual foods plus all of the edibles youd expect from a health food store. Prepared foods, imported goods and cheeses, plus other household products. If youre looking for something that is not at most of the supermarkets, definitely try this place. The staff is friendly and informative, and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Great selections of Organic food and produce. Good place to get stuffs if you are looking for a Vegan and Gluten Free food. Theres Salad bar, hot bar and smoothies area that you can choose to get your favorite food and beverages. They serve good breakfast from 7-10 AM. Parking space is enough on regular days. Need to improve customer service.

My go-to store, has all of my vegan needs. Their deli is also the best! So many yummy plant-based sweet treats and meals to-go. And of course the super friendly staff✨

How can you call yourself an upstanding business when you sell products that are spoiled and then you refuse to take them back? There is no store we have been to that doesn’t take food back when it’s bad besides this one. If the customer says it’s bad you need to take it back. YOU ARE AWFUL.

Nice people and mostly good products. But the prices are extremely high.You can get a gallon, actually 9/10, of Hawaii Mountain purified water for close to $7, albeit with added Himalayan minerals so to speak, wow! By the way the most expensive gasoline in America is in Hawaii for $3.50 per gallon. I also ordered a roast beef sandwich which is more suited for sale to Goodyear tire as a filler. You can also get the disengenuous LOCAL milk from 0rganic Valley California as opposed to Volcanic Valley here in Hawaii.With all that said I will go to this store for certain items but will definitely check the prices and read the labels.

So gross people keep finding slugs in the produce!!! Seriously now a sandwich soooooo nasty. I will not be eating at the natural food stores ever again!!!! Sure it comes in the locally grown lettuce but they are supposed to wash it thoroughly!!! Auntie one find this semi slug in her sandwich just yesterday!

Love that everything in the store is non-GMO. And mostly organic. In general quite pleased with island naturals. HOWEVER, cannot give it five stars as the prices for the exact same items are 150% to 200% more than the same item at Target Safeway and other stores. Love the concept of the store but the high pricing is a huge deterrent from shopping there. Other stores now offer lots of organic options. its way past time for island naturals to revisit their pricing and bring their prices down to earth.

Don’t trust labels here. They say things are organic that aren’t, and NEVER trust ingredient lists on their prepared items. At both the Kona and Hilo locations I’ve gotten curry “tofu” that was actually chicken. In both circumstances they were rude and unapologetic. My friend got a veggie pasta salad without mushrooms listed, but it did in fact contain mushrooms (he’s allergic) and cupcakes that were labeled “vegan” contained butter and eggs. Even their produce is mislabeled as organic when it is stickered conventional. Never believe anything here is labeled truthfully!!!

Glad there is a health food store in Hilo. But too expensive. And wish the GMO foods were labeled in the store.

Hey gangIsland Naturals is located smack-dab in the middle of this little shopping center. From the outside it looks not to active but if and when you enter the shopping Center OMG theres allot of small businesses inside on the far right of that complex you will find Oriental, Local style, IceShave and iceCreamd shops as well as a Pastry shop. Hehehe but thats not all, I dont want to take the fun out of you finding out for yourself the experience shopping there so what you guys waiting for go check it out for yourself.😃 ENJOY

Ive found Island Naturals offers lower prices than other stores. For example, Island Naturals Big Island Booch prices are less at Island Naturals than at Safeway. Store has friendly staff that is available to help. Store offers lots of weekly discounts. Store has best bulk supplies available in Hilo. I love earning the $5 cash rewards to use towards purchases.

Extremely delicious foods but they use brown sugar and or refined sugar in almost all dishes!! Supper disappointed whenever I came to get a bit to eat. Kona Island Naturals didn’t have any sugar added to their dishes whenever I ate there so I’m hoping it was just the day I went that they use sugar. Sugar is the most addictive drug and very bad for your health! Don’t believe me? Look up the top 5 reasons for hormone disruption and infertility! Then look up sugar addition. It’s literally more addictive than cocaine and heroin combine! It lights up more endorphins in the brain than cocaine and heroine. It is the easier way for the food industry to make you a repeat customer!! The food industries want you to be addicted to their food and crave it so you will buy more.. You can look all this up for yourself but I can promise you it’s the truth.
