By far the worst Whole Foods nationwide and its not even close. Be fully prepared to bag your own groceries and wait in 30 minute lines. WHOEVER IS MANAGING THIS STORE NEEDS TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY. 3 bucks for an avocado and bag your own groceries like its Aldi. WE PAY A PREMIUM FOR OUR FOOD SO WE CAN HAVE A BAGGER. WORKING THE EMPLOYEES LIKE SLAVES. CASHIER NEEDS A BAGGER. NOBODY CAN DO IT ALL. TERRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. VERY SAD TO SEE. WHOLE FOODS HINSDALE TREATS THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE SLAVES.

I needed some products I know I can buy there, and everything was in stock. The store is very clean, wipes are available to wipe down the shopping cart if you want and there are shields at the checkout lanes. Its a nice store.

My new favorite place to shop. Friendly people, great fruits and vegetables. Also I always find random things to try that I end up loving. Mexican wedding cookies. Yum.

Dairy, meats, produce are pretty good. Marianos has better selection of cheeses now. If you want the herbal supplements, Amazon has some but The Fruitful Yield is better for selection. Selection of wines and cosmetics has replaced the herbal supplements and cheeses. Bakery is good for breads and some breads. Cakes are pricey and dry. Overall quality is better but selection is limited compared to pre-Amazon days.

Top notch product quality usually at premium prices but sometimes decent prices. Very knowledgeable and extremely nice helpful staff.

Easy to drop off pick up a few things helps to be a prime member

Look out for the fish department. They dont now the defense from scallops and shrimp..

Nice staff helped me find a supplement due to lack of signs indicating where blood sugar supplements were located. Overall it was a nice clean facility

One of the smallest whole foods Ive ever been into in my life. Walkways are small, and I didnt see any samosas. Where are the samosas? Also, if you can get past a little family with their kids on the corner, outside playing music and begging for money, then you should have a good time here.

Poor service at the deli. Unfriendly & they will let you stand there until they find the time to help you with your order. This change has been in the last couple of months...there use to be very courteous and helpful deli crew. It also appears they are understaffed in as well. Not good guys...get with it.

Actually did not shop here but met a rescue group who picked up a dog a a shelter in Kentucky. I took the sweet senior home for a couple of days until she can see a vet and then go to her foster home.

Best WFs I have been to and Ive been to many whole foods locations. Best produce & fruit selection of all stores. Incredible seafood selection and their bakery dept is stellar. I found huge gorgeous arugula here, squash varieties, escargot, the list goes on. Excellent, fresh inventory.

Getting tired of this store. The employees dont care about anything. Cashiers cant be bothered, and today I bought a package of ham for lunch and came home to find out its turkey. Very frustrating that stuff like this keeps happening here. Need better staff.

Whole Foods is a great grocery store. Just super expensive. $14# for deli meat is redunk. Hard to justify breaking the grocery budget here. Nice clean potty though.

Still love the staff and the store itself but really dont like what Amazon has done. No longer feels like a different type of store and instead its just another grocery store. Sad.

This is another place where I made an emergency poop. I was on i-294 South when I realized I was not going to make it to my destination without having a personal accident. I did have to run all the way to the back of the store to use the bathroom facilities, but they were extremely clean and I was very happy afterwards.

A little on the small side, the parking lot was especially cramped. They did have a good selection of fresh produce, and really good customer service.

High-ranking customer service, excellent food choices, most of all everyone has some Extraordinary.

Good covid precautions at checkout, but rest of store is so tight its hard to distance.

The staff there is really helpful. Very popular place, close to the tollway (no tolls charged at ogden ). Parking lot is usually full.

This Whole Foods gets quite busy from Hinsdalians, but the store square footage doesnt seem to cover the capacity. Wish theyd expand to, or open another location, to service the demand. I, personally, try to avoid this W.F. and opt for other, nearby, locations. Customer service and store associates are okay, but not as friendly as other W.F. locations that Ive experienced. Not being from the area and only working nearby, I dont care for the snobbish and often rude, clientele, that arent great at parking either. 🙄 I, again, opt for the Willowbrook or Elmhurst locations for a less stressful and more pleasant shopping experience.

We highly recommend Whole Foods catering. We recently use them for and event and the guests raves about the unique selection of foods. Even our guests who are in the catering industry we wowed by the quality of the selections.

I would have given 5 stars, but they got rid of the automatic whole bean coffee grinder machine.What they should have done is let an employee be in charge of it, so that if you needed whole beans ground they could do that. Maybe it will be reconsidered after my posting:)

I was looking for fresh squeezed OJ and couldn’t find any, so I asked an associate. She pointed toward a refrigerator and said “if we have it it would be over there.” Explaining that I didn’t see it there, she said “well I guess we don’t have any.” Thanks, kid.Upon checking out, the cashier asked if I found everything I was looking for, I replied no - I was looking for fresh squeezed OJ, but couldn’t find any. “Oh, I guess we don’t have any. Have you tried our oranges? They’re really good.”

Love this Whole Foods, their hot bar is consistently better than any other WFs I frequent.

To shop here is awful. My wife has a medical condition that does not permit her to wear a mask. Instead of respecting that condition, she was bombarded by nasty looks and stares from other customers, who are so scared, to being approached by store personnel continuing to tell her that she needs to have a mask on to be in the store. We were being forced to do something against our will or her ability.We will NOT be shopping anymore at Whole Foods, as well as cancel our membership with Amazon.This experience was too reminiscent to us of the persecution suffered by others in the past.The kind of people that work at Whole Foods and those who shop there SHOULD be wearing masks, as most notorious criminals do.

Great Whole Foods! The Seafood department is excellent. They do not over order so everything is fresh! The meat department has a nice varity with excellent butchers who will cut your meat to order. Both the fishmongers and butchers are very knowledgeable and offer great customer service! The produce section is large and offers a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. You can find all the groceries you need here. I highly recommend this Whole Foods!

Not what it used to be. I always felt welcomed and cared for it this store or any Whole Foods for that matter. Thats no longer the case. Products availability has gone down drastically, no longer exceptional brands that are hard to come by elsewhere, I loved the locally produced products pitched on weekends and etc. Now, all I see is very generic staff, over stressed employees who look very depressed in my opinion and isles full with boxes getting in the way. I miss the original management that made shopping at this chain a pleasure.

So the people here are just awful. I just cant stand the snobbish people that shop here. Everyone looks like a prude and ready to flip out over anything. Some of the employees are more approachable than others but their helpful. The selection is bit disappointing. I want to be able to find my regular vegan options but they sometimes dont have refrigerated lunch meals or the bakery cookies. Good selection on winter squash.

I shop at whole foods all of the time and this was the first time I have had a bad experience the cashier Elizabeth was just snobby and unprofessional checking her for her phone while I asked her a question regarding my prime membership. It was obvious she was unhappy!

Great produce selection of both organic and conventional items. Love the effort to avoid GMO products. Prices becoming more competitive. But the Prime promos never, ever work. Wish hot bar ran later than 7pm.

I usually go to this location to get food from the hot bar at lunch. The food is good quality and they have a wide selection including good options for vegetarians. The staff is very helpful and I am usually able to get in, get out, and get back to work quickly.

Great Hot Bar, nice to see what is new everyday. Lovely bakery & enticing selection. Good selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. I enjoy browsing the meat, fish and cheese sections to see what is good and what is new. Within a leisure walking distance from Hinsdale Hospital.

Love Whole Foods Market. I have been able to find everything Im looking for, on every trip to this store. And the smoked chicken salad from the deli is out of this world!

Wholefoods Market Hinsdale has always been a lovely place to shop.....with a staff that’s always gracious and helpful. It’s also been easy to drop in for healthy tasty lunch/dnnr “on thefly” .....that goes for the hot prep, salad and cold food in the case. In the last few months, however, the quality and freshness have been disappointing and pricey for old food. For example, everything I purchased this Sat afternoon was made 4days ago and tasted/smelled older. I hope quality improves soon.

Great place to shop. Cant wait for them to get more keto friendly items. For instance Aldi has 2kinds keto bread, 3.99-loaf. Maybe even premade keto friendly hot foods and desserts.

This is the worst whole foods in the greater Chicagoland region, at least compared to the numerous stores Ive visited. Constantly out of stock, horrible salad bar relative to the other stores. They dont stock a ton of popular items that other stores stock. Just an offer all poor whole foods excerience, over and above the negative changes since Amazon took over. The only reason I come here still is convenience. Otherwise Id avoid this particular store like the plague. 3 stars because its still whole foods.

I like stopping here for breakfast, or lunch, or dinner whenever I am working in Hinsdale. Right by 294, plenty of parking. Hot & Cold bars have a large selection. Dining area is nice. Store & bathrooms are clean. Food is always very good. Lines are never long. Prices are reasonable.

When I used to frequent this area, Whole Foods here off of Ogden was a common stop of mine. The staff are friendly, the food choices were great, and the sushi bar was well stocked. Everything is kept clean, quiet and well lit. Great store.

I dont live in the area; the store is conveniently located near I294. I prefer the canal street location because of a wider variety of vegan foods, but I work near this store. Overall I have found most staff pleasant & helpful. But i have experience a number of rude staff that has has made my visit to the point that I go to this store only if I really need something that whole foods provide. I live on the south side of Chicago; I am not planning to move to the area, so be a little nicer...tonight when I went to purchase my groceries, the staff abruptly inquired about my bag, I showed him a whole foods note attached to the bag when i received it in a cosmetic promotion. when the purchased was finished I reached for my receipt, he slammed it on the counter, turned away quickly with a i guess i have to say this have a nice day. I almost dread going into the store, but its a good location for me....

Love the cookies, chips and guacamole. Also has very fresh fruit. A little on the expensive side but worth a splurge occasionally.

I usually shop here every couple of weeks or so. if Im running late getting home in the evening Ill stop and get a little dinner from the Food Bar. The food is always fresh and tasty. I really like the ponzu chicken. Oh yeah, and I usually get some olives and garlic from the olive bar.

Location is very easy to get to. Did a double take at the Driscolls Raspberry 6oz, 5 for $5 sale!!! Amazing! That same day they were even sampling full size chocolates amongst other things! Clean and nice store, salad and hot bar was wonderful and the staff was nice even when very busy. Will come here again...

This is probably my favorite Whole Foods around even considering that there is a newer, larger, location right down the street. The employees of this location are just super nice and friendly, Id love to give it a five star review but the store is small and poorly laid out. If Whole Foods would renovate this store I would be soooo happy!!

Before it was whole foods it was fresh fields... until it was bought out by WF. Just love it, however we will see what Amazon does to this great store.

Great location right off of I-294 on Ogden Avenue. I usually schedule meetings here because its easy to get to and provides one of the only easy turn arounds on the Interstate.The staff keep the place clean in the eating area and having the separate Starbucks is always a plus.
