Usually super nice! last time i went though, there was an employee who was very rude. when i got there they were putting a sign on the IN door. i politely wait for her to finish, and instead she opens the door and says “jesus theres a whole other door” not even trying to say it under her breath. honestly she was super rude, she could’ve said we can use the exit door instead of using attitude towards me. Again, i did not try to open it with her there, i just stood and waited for her to finish. very disappointed

Store was empty yet staff chose to ignore me when asking for help. When indicating i couldnt fins the part where they said it was the reply was something likewell its there. Finally insisted someone help me find it and it wasnt as easy for them to find either. The whole experience felt like i was inconveniencing them for being there. Amazon next time, these guys are like Walgreens for carparts. Pricing seems predatory and the staff was rude and disinterested.

My husband bought wrong size clips and we were giving up going to buy zip ties. He went to return the ones and the red head employee (sorry dont no name( went out his way before my husband came knowing he would return. He was correct!! They fit perfectly and helped our life. I sent my Daughter who is 25, with a screen shot of the brake pads I wanted. The person behind the counter said they were the wrong ones. I know the pads would fit My car, why would they sell Her more expensive pads, and the wrong ones? Not good business.

Went in to pick up an order. Not too long of a wait but it seemed like I was a nuisance to the workers for simply being there. Not very personal service at all.

I went to get my battery tested and not only did they test it, Drell even installed it in less than 10 minutes. They are awesome! This is my new location to visit for all my vehicular needs.

Be Observant at this location this is the second time a sales representative has charged me for something I did not know I was being charged for or in anyway was told I was being charged for, first time I caught it before the transaction went through, but the second time a refund had to be issued causing a line in the store. Thank god everyone had their masks on today😇

The gentleman who was working the closing shift was kind enough to brave the freezing rain to remove my old windshield wipers and installed my new ones. I had bought them from another Auto Zone location the previous day and didnt think theyd be hard to install myself . WRONG!!! The staff at the Portage, IN location off Central Ave. are wonderful and theyve earned a life long customer !! To the gentleman who helped me thank you so very much!! You alone are the very reason for my review and you deserve a RAISE!! THANK YOU AGAIN !!

It was snowing and roads were icy and it was COLD! The snow had taken my wiper clean off my VW Beetle. I pulled in close to closing time and Robert ( who had a splint on his finger) went above and beyond recommending a wiper blade, finding my autozone rewards account, placing the blade on in the freezing cold with a splint on his finger> being that it is a BEETLE car nothing replaces easily and he was extremely polite and pleasant, and caring enough to make sure I was taken care of before going back on the road. Thank you! This is actually for the AUTOZONE on RT 30.

Very friendly and help me with a battery installation and wipers

The price of my tail lens ($48.00 approx.) Wasnt bad in fact less than anticipated, the wait, cause it had to be ordered was expected and not too long, but due to someone putting the wrong name on it it made picking it up take longer than expected and we were not notified when it came in due to the wrong name. This caused some frustration cause I was heading to work. I due not usually have ANY problems with this location or the chain in general. I will still visit them as needs arise, Ill just be a bit over cautious when I order a part.

Paul Morano was awesome! Helped me with replacing the battery in my car. He was quick and very polite.

Very friendly staff and very courteous. My wife has a smart car and they charge the battery for free I was really fearful because a battery for the car has a hundred and 80 plus dollars. They put it on the charger it only had 2% battery life after an hour and a half on their charger it is now 100%. They are a lifesaver.

The store is great the staff are so helpful and friendly as for the manager she doesnt know nothing you ask her. She tells you no to just shut you up or blow you off I went in asked for part she told me no I came out called my husband she said no they dont have it. He met me there went inside ask another young man and came out with the part. I shouldve listened when he said go in ask anyone except for her. Shes very rude and only clearly worried about getting her shift done and getting that check. She is a hot mess please Auto zone find someone else who cares and wants to run it the right way.

Was looking to get detail products that I wanted right away. They were out of all of spray waxes and quick detailer spray waxes. They had one can of the interior detailer spray and I wanted at least 2 more. No one approached me even after standing in front of the near empty shelves while I looked for any kind of similar products. I ended up spending $20 and was ready to drop $70-$80. I will have to source these off Amazon as much as I hate to say it. This is why no one wants to go to brick and mortar stores anymore. Its just easier to click and they always have what you want.

Great Customer service! First Drell assisted me with a problem that I was having with my post terminal. Although he was sure he had the right part, he brought in Pete(The mastermind) to guarantee we were on the right track. Not only did Pete confirm the part but he changed it as well. Not to mention it was very cold and the guys were very patient and knowledgeable in explaining exactly what was going on. Thank you guys soooo much!!!!
