Needed some vegetables for family reunion luncheon, this store was within walking distance and they had exactly what we needed. They have a full variety of mexican delicacies, but for us it was fresh produce that made the day.

Im a regular customer to this store and have always been treated well by owner and step son. Today, totally different feel..First, I waited patiently for Owner’s step-son to finish up with a customer ordering dinners. The customer decided he wanted to add another dinner. Okay np, now Ive been waiting over 10mins. Now, the step-son decides while ringing the customer up to have a additional conversation that lasted another 10mins with customer about football. Now, this is very rude. Owner comes out from the back and states she cant help me because shes cooking. I couldnt believe it! Wow! I was going to just leave but my daughter really wanted some barbacoa. Owner, did stop and asked, what I wanted after seeing that I was waiting for so long but once I told her, she stated, she cant help because she was behind in cooking. Then, another customer walks in and guess what happens next, the owners step-son waits on him and rings his items up and once again chit chat with this customer. Okay, Im so over it! He knew I was upset and tried to offer me free salsa. No, Thank You!! I will never go back to this store again! You just lost a faithful customer 😕

My 1st time .my friend wanted some porto rican rice and it was excellent and taste also some impanadas may have spelled it wrongBut have to tell you it was so delicious even my dogs loved the meat inside of it and also a fried potato. Not the cleanest place but one of the only ones in the area that offers specialty Puertorican seasonings. But many times the specialty produce is going bad or already spoiled.

Love this store. Authentic Puerto Rican food. Only place I can find the Cortes chocolate bars for hot chocolate and absolute best hot case food at amazing prices. Went there for the first time today. The place look like they are closing. Like a dump. I purchased some stuff, didnt have a lot on the shelf. I didnt notice the bread pan sobao was burned in the bottom into I got home. The lady at the register was to busy on a personal call with her car insurance to talk to us, after waiting 5 minutes. She will ring a few things then talk to the person on the phone then come back. People like that shouldnt run a business. I will never go back or recommended to anyone.

Omg, omg, omg! This place is the real deal. Im from Chicago and have been looking for an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant or store in these parts, lol, and I have found it. The prices are very reasonable, the service is awesome, the food, omg, the food is authentic, delicious, fresh and fantabulous. The owner is such a sweetheart. I used to drive to Sabor Latino in Humboldt Park to get my fix but not anymore, this place right here is the answer 🥰👍🏽🤩

Service was horrible. The young man behind the food counter had a attitude when I asked if they had frozen pasteles for sale, he got an attitude and said they didn’t (when I seen them in the freezer in the back). Anyways, I came home expecting authentic flavorful food.. but unfortunately the pasteles were terrible they had a sour taste as if they were expired. Never going back again.

I forgot about this place, OMG THE FOOD HERE IS AMAZING!!! I was able to get what i wanted take it home and finish it up with what i wanted. I love this place. The have all kinds of different hot foods you buy buy the pound, or the have smaller portions if you like, they have all different kinds of options to meet your needs. Im so happy i remembered they are their!!!! Very good food and service, if you have questions they are more than willing to help you and show you. I will be returning

They have so many varieties of all sorts of items. I love their meat selection and freshness. I love their baked items as well, and they have decent prices here too. I also love the huge bottles of aloe vera water here for such a good price, only thing I would say bad about this place is their cashiering area, theres only 1 register to my belief and theres always such a long line. Im always standing in line for around 5-10 minutes. Other then that, its a great place to shop with good prices.

That last two times I was in that store I was watched by the workers like I was going to commit a crime, I dont know why.. but Ill never step foot in there againIll take my business elsewhere

We love to stop in on Saturdays for our favorite rice & pork tacos. Plus its a little store where we can purchase all the trimmings for our tacos & guacamole. If you havent stopped in on a Saturday & enjoy pork tacos, this is the place to stop.

They saved the day! I was in a hurry to find somewhere still open after 8pm that had Arrachera that wouldnt cost me an arm and a leg! The staff still had a positive attitude even tho I walked in like 15 mins before they closed!

My hubby loves the pastillio and papas. When I need rice, this is my favorite place to go. The owner is a sweetheart. I have one issue, the man behind the counter, cutting the meat, never has on gloves or wearing the required hat/hair cover.

I used to like this place but theyve recently raised their food prices have smaller plates and they skimp on food portions always giving you the smaller pieces of meat at the bottom. Probably wont be going back. Boricuas turned jews!

Friendly service and tasty premaid take out food. But it by the pound. Bring home and eat. If you love Mexican food and dont want to cook this is the place. And they have isles of anything Mexican to buy with your take out meal. Also have some uncooked meat for sale but not much of a selection. Just get what the lady made for the day, its Good!!!

The guacamole and tamales are great. The food is always decent. The woman is super friendly and kind. The reason for the bad rating is the man working there is a completely rude human. I walk in and he doesnt say anything the whole time and ignored me till the last came from the back. She was upset as well, but thats the reason for the rating. That and the store is completely unorganized, but Im guessing that same guy is in charge of that.
