They quote you a down payment and monthly payment using best case scenarios, ask you for earnest money so they can run a credit application through the bank. The next day be prepared for the report to be denied if you dont have a perfect credit score. Our down payment jumped up by 20K even though we were upfront about our credit history. When we asked for our earnest money back we were told to put a stop payment on the check. Since they deposited it the day before, it had already cleared the bank so were unable to put a stop pay on the check. We called the corporate office who said wed have to wait 7-10 days before they could mail our 1k back to us, even though we supplied proof from our bank showing it cleared our account and they hung up on us. Buyer beware. Go next door to Youngs and theyll treat you right from the get go. Youngs wont take any money if they cant help you and wont make you pay before they take the credit application like this place does.
