My wife Jack and I wanted to bulk order books for a guest gift at our wedding and Kate at Little City Books made it really easy. They had ~50 books ordered to the store and reserved for me too pick-up in a single box within just a few days of ordering. It worked really well, and the books were a hit!

Little City Books is an absolute gem. Small and charming, this bookstore offers a wide variety of books for any avid reader. Whether perusing or going with a specific book in mind, I guarantee you will end up with an armful of books to take home. The layout encourages you to look through the whole store while providing staff picks in every section. I highly recommend stopping at Little City if you find yourself in the neighborhood.

Really need to step up their game. A nice little store, but inventory is often incorrect and staff isn’t very knowledgeable or attentive. Also some areas of store are difficult to access.

This review is coming at ya from a true bibliophile: I absolutely love Little City Books! It’s one place I’ve truly missed during COVID. I typically go in every few months to pick out a stack of books to read, and I sincerely appreciate the little summaries and recommendations left on the shelves by the staff. It’s led me to discover some unexpected authors and titles that ended up being some of my all-time favorites! Recently I’ve placed a couple of orders, one in person and one online, and the process was simple and handled swiftly and professionally. I can’t recommend this place enough!

My 3 year old and I stumbled upon this incredible bookstore last week. The children’s section downstairs is magical. So well designed, really well stocked and the people were very helpful and lovely. We can’t wait to go back! The one problem, like with anything else in Hoboken if you’re not a resident, is parking, but this place is well worth the hassle.

The best bookstore this side of the Hudson! There are even hand written notes around the store with recommendations; which is helpful because there are so many books to choose from! It really is delightful.

Small, edgy bookstore - but with a fabulous selection nonetheless. I love the fact that they have personal descriptions of certain books that are featured. My friend and I bought two excellent books based on their recommendations. I would like to personally see more scifi and sci fantasy recommendations!

If youre looking for a cute card or quick gift this is a great place to stop by. They have a large range of holiday and greeting cards that you wont find anywhere else.
