Always great coffee! Bakery items are terrible! Got a croissant and threw it away after the first bite. Blueberry muffin was nothing but sugar. But will be coming back for coffee for sure.

Pre-pandemic, I loved this place. Great coffee. Great baristas. I’ve been going here since I was in high school. They have a walk-up window now. Unfortunately, they don’t require masks (of customers or staff) while the delta variant fuels COVID surges everywhere. I dropped by yesterday and it was packed full of maskless patrons. As much as I’ll miss this place, I’ll have to refrain from visiting it for the time being. Attached: Photo from February 14, 2016.

Not as tight as I thought it would be. There is seating for the most part inside and out. The workers are super pleasant and the coffee ? TASTY AF

College kid/ “wfh” heaven! Delicious food delicious coffee and you truly can’t beat the vibe. I would even bring the kiddos here on Saturday/ Sunday morning to read books and have breakfast. Overall they did an amazing job with creating a welcoming and friendly eco centric environment to have people gather in!

The staff was welcoming and this place provided an option for light or dark roast which is great. I ordered the dark roast and would definitely revisit.

One of the best coffee in NJ City, I like their Colombian dark roast. Also, they sell amazing bamboo straws, which are much better than steel or paper ones ;)

I love this place. Very good vibes. Good music. The coffee is excellent!! And other Hof drinks. I order chai latte that was very good. Good flavor not so sweet. Other time I got matcha latte that had a good storng flavor of matcha and it was under sweet so I added honey.The music in the place is nice! Good vibes.The people who one the coffee shop buy the coffee only from Tahiti and donate to Tahiti from every sell! I love the matcha latte!

Decided to spend an afternoon in Hoboken and my husband had us stop by this cute coffee shop. We thought it was more of a cafe but it mostly has some baked goods and coffee or tea not sandwiches. This was fine with us as we always like people/places to focus on one thing and do it well. It has milk alternatives which is always a plus for me - almond, soy, and oat milk which is my favorite! The drinks are large sized 12 oz and 16 oz but the price is equivalent to an 8oz drink in NYC so don’t mind if I do! ;) Has good amount of seating with a large table in the back of the shop for small groups or getting work done. Overall great coffee at a great cost with baked snacks. Would recommend!

A great cup of flat white coffee with a amazing piece of scone. Friendly service is there for new customers and regulars! Can’t wait to go back!

The Lavender Latte was surprisingly very unique and good. Would totally get it again.

Didn’t know what I wanted and got a mocha. Best mocha / chocolate I’ve ever had. Will come back again.

I was ordering a decaf latte when an Indian woman leaned over to the barista and said, “I just needed to stop and tell you that your turmeric latte tasted exactly like my grandmother’s. I couldn’t believe it. Thank you.” I changed my order and am loving every sip of this golden treat as I type this. Also, the baristas are great at what they do and their demeanor add to the laid back homey feeling of Bwe. This little caffeine heaven strikes the perfect balance of intriguing indie obscurity and the vibe of a warm hearth.

Been twice and loved it both times. Have only had the lattes but they were perfect. Love the friendly staff that let me taste test the oat milk they serve. It was delicious!

Cute little coffee shop in Hoboken with delicious seasonal varieties. We tried the spicy mocha and black sesame latte today and both were SO good, Im still thinking about them 5 hours later. 😚 They also have an order ahead option, where you can just walk up and pick up your order behind a sliding window.

Hands down the best coffee shop in Hoboken. A family run small business with oodles of style and substance. They support local with their showcase of products from other small businesses on sale, not to mention their relentless philanthropy. Cant say enough good things about Bwe!

My family and I love Bwè Kafe! The coffee is great quality and knowing the beans are ethically sourced is so important. Their atmosphere and vibe is inviting, clean + fun. They are a small business that cares about their community - can’t say enough great things about Bwè!

They scheduled an event here for an open mic, I came and the place was closed. No regard for peoples time. No message through the event website. No apologies.

We just dropped by to take out soy cappuccino, but it looked quiet and cozy place so good for reading or working.

The service is so wonderful here. I dont know how they even found the people that they hired, every single one of them has put a smile on my face at some point. This is the only coffee shop that I know of that has actually been able to make a good flat white. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is perfect for studying. Sometimes, it can be a little noisy, but nothing a pair of headphones wont fix!

I really wanted to like this place but the $2.67 for a lukewarm “regular” coffee with a kick of acidity is at most a one star experience (and that’s being generous). Ordered ahead using their website at 10:10am and it estimated a 10:30am time for ready for pick up, got there at 10:15am and it was sitting by the pick up window...

1 year later they dont let you in, dont let you use the bathroom, and treat their customers like spreaders. No thank you, Im not interested in the fear and paranoia. Selling coffee but no bathroom?? Hoboken is open! I can sit in other coffee shops and enjoy a cup as long as I want. This is nonsense.

One of my favorite places for coffee in Hoboken. Real good vibe inside and the staff are helpful and cool. Sometimes can get a little crowded if your trying to bring a laptop to do work.

Beautiful coffee shop in the heart of uptown Hoboken. Stellar selection of single origin coffees, small and excellent treats and more. Plenty of seating space to sit and relax or even do work. Always helpful and friendly staff, accompanied by a smile. Beautiful decor, Free wifi + outside seating!

Your average cafe. Coffee was meh. Pastries were meh. A few tables filled with laptop workers. Not every table has access to sockets, though. Free wifi and youll definitely find a space to sit (compared to the nearest Starbucks).

Nice place with good coffee. The only thing i absolutely hate is its impossible to get a seat. Ive never stepped foot in there without seeing every table full of people on their laptops. People get there early and hang out all day so no casual customers can sit down.

This place is friendly and hip, and the coffees good, but I dont get why its perpetually packed compared to other places nearby. Hobokens got almost as many high-end coffee shops as Manhattan and Brooklyn at this point, and this ones pretty similar to all of em. About as pricey, too.

Excellent coffee and relaxed atmosphere. Every third Friday of the month is an open mic evening. A lovely throwback to the Beat Generation coffeehouses of the 60s.

A little expensive but definitely the best damn latte we have ever had in our lives. We even brought friends from out of town and bought them lattes. Our wallets lost a few ounces and our bank accounts a few zeros but wed gladly loose them again for just another sip of that fine latte.

The coffee is from La Colombe and its, as usual, great--robust and bold with just the right amount of kick. Ive had an almond latte and a regular latte here and they were both delicious!Its also a really nice spot to kick back and relax, whether with a friend or alone with your computer/smart phone/book. There are smaller tables at the front, and a huge communal table at the back. I personally prefer the front because theres a ton of natural light there, which makes the place seem really warm and cozy. The baristas are also really friendly and welcoming. Ill definitely go back with a good book or my laptop soon!

Nice ambiance. But most importantly the flat white is gooood! Reminds me of a classic, European cappuccino. Pair it with the cinnamon walnut scone and you have the makings of Bwé becoming one of your favorite cafés. Well, that’s what happened for me.

Great place, but drip coffee can be inconsistent. I guess they switch up the beans and you never know what you will get when you ask for a dark roast drip. Sometimes its pretty weak, which just fs up your morning lol. It gets crowded, especially on weekends, so if you plan on working here you must come early. Otherwise, it is a stylish local spot with friendly service.
