Dont get me wrong some of the other delis in the area are good, but this place really does have the best bagels. Something about their dough is just different and tastes so much better than the rest. Best egg everything Ive ever had

As someone who is pretty frugal I can’t go here anymore. Charging $6.75 for an egg sandwich and not even including a small coffee with it is ridiculous. Bagel Brothers down the street has a $4 egg sandwich and it’s much bigger. Unlike most of the comments, I always chose to go to Holbrook Bagels because I found it fast. In and out. But at this point I’d rather wait and not get robbed

I have seen Glaciers move quicker than these people. Never enough help and the employees have to be prompted to say thanks if you give them a tip. Bagels are not that great anymore so I go to a new place. Shop with your wallet.Used to be a decent bagel store, not anymore.

Wow,the way the lady who owns it treats her workers like they are beneath her!!! She puts them down behind closed doors consistently !!!! why would anyone want to work there.

Make sure you count your change and check what they charge you. 530 in morning ordered ham egg and cheese on bagel .,gave her $100, register said 91.25 change . I didn’t pay attention on how expensive that was . Later called and asked price another woman said 6.25 . I said I was charged too much . Then original woman got on the phone and refused to look up transaction, I know I was one of first few in morning and could easily look it up . Well for now on I’ll be going to the bagel shop in next shopping center

This was my first visit to this store. Bagel was okay....I found it interesting that the bagel was very light in weight and seemed to have the consistency of a roll. I won’t say I was disappointed, I did enjoy the bagel just not sure I would classify it as a bagel.....more of a Rolgel....LOL

I have been coming to this store since the 80s with our family. More recently new owners took over and for the most part the bagels have been decent. However, last week the store was extremely busy and when I got home the 3 bagels ordered were tough. I also had to wait longer as the first time the girl did not get my order correct. The next morning I went again for breakfast & mentioned this. The lady picked up a bagel and starting pushing on it & saying how I could see they are soft. I was surprised they never apologized & I thought maybe one of the three I ordered might be on the house for the inconvenience. That is just good customer service. The gentleman said he could do nothing & it is his uncle’s business. I left my number asking to speak with the owner but nobody ever called. I will certainly not be back. It is so hard to earn a customer’s business but it takes just a moment to lose it.

Been coming here for years and will continue to come back time and time again. Ownership changed about 2 years ago and the place is still GREAT! Bagels have that great outside with a pillowy inside. It’s not one of those places that defrosts their bagels or have everything come out of a pre-mixed bag. Egg sandwiches are delicious. Price is about what you’d pay anywhere else. Highly recommended!!!

Im sorry to say I am not able to recommend this place. Basically, the coffee stinks. Its weak and usually lukewarm. I thought it would get better with the new machines they installed but it has not. The bagel egg sandwiches were pretty good at times. Lastly, the older woman that works there never smiles and can be nasty and down right rude. She should not be serving food and drinks to anybody. She also makes lousy food. How she was able to mess us a toasted buttered bagel is beyond me.I will not be back :(

Best bagels, egg sandwiches and pastries around!! The staff is very welcoming and friendly as well which is a huge plus. Also, dont avoid the guys who work in the kitchen for service as well just because their shirts have flour on them from making bagels and everything else they do! I would highly recommend Holbrook Bagel Bakery to everyone!

I love this place. They have the best bagels around, but their butter is even better! If you compare it to the bagel store in the next shopping center, it isnt even a contest! There are a few dopey girls who work here, but the owner is amazing and is the nicest guy ever!!! Recommended.

On a rainy day in search of breakfast, I was attracted by a sign in the window that read Best Egg Sandwich Ever. I pulled into the lot, stepped in a puddle getting my feet soaked, and wandered in wet. I placed my order for two scrambled eggs with bacon. The service was really slow. After waiting ages, I got my sandwich and stormed out. This story has a happy ending though. It really was the best egg sandwich ever. Imnot kidding. The roll was fresh baked, the eggs were fluffy, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. I can only imagine it being meticulously prepared in the back. I would happily wait for a sandwich like that again and again. You should too.

Place looks great but it would be nice to see some welcoming smiles once in a while.

The company would really benefit from an extra person working in the kitchen and an extra register. They can’t even handle a rush because there’s only one register. The workers are running around aimlessly forgetting orders because they’re trying to do too much. Counter persons should not be cooking the food, they should have a cook. 15-20 minute wait for something to be missing off my order and it to be overcooked. I had an egg bagel and it tasted as flavorless as white bread. They really need to change some things here.

Best bagels in Holbrook. There grill cheese, blue berry, French toast bagels are excelent. Would recomend.

Good bagels, breakfast and reasonable prices.The negative I see is the big turn over for front counter staff, its like new staff every few weeks, some employees some seem bit disgruntled and unhappy. There was a young lady who appeared friendly and very clean but she didnt last long.When I go in I maneuver myself to avoid getting the young tall white guy (I think he usually works in the kitchen) whose dirty clothes make me little weary. I got unlucky on Tuesday (11/08/16) early morning, he was alone with a female employee and I got him! Every time I tried to take bite of the egg sandwich he made, his clothes and appearance came to mind, had to dump it.Its a good place and I will take a chance again, will just wait in the car and go in at the right person is at the front.

The worst doughnutsI have ever gotten. Dough was dry, jelly and Boston cream had 1 tablespoon of filling (I measured it). Will never patronize this place again!

Rolls have a nice crust on the outside and soft on the inside, bagels are the same. Must try!
