Called Harvard Marine to see if they had a part for my Merc Outboard in stock. He put me on a brief hold and checked the stockyard and confirmed he had it. He then helped ensure I would get the part before the weekend so I could enjoy what remains of MN boating season. I would happily use Harvard Marine again!

Finally called and got a rude person on the phone who said he couldn’t help me, to leave a message via Amazon and I would hear back the same day. That was the sixth message with no response. I would never use company again. I placed an order through Amazon never received it. Never made it to my door. I have video cameras and never had any delivery the day they said I received it. Then when I email them the told me to file a police report. How can you file a police report when it never was delivered. This company is rude and they dont care about their customers. SHAME ON THEM

Be careful when ordering an item from them on Amazon. I ordered a 10 pack of 12 volt bulbs. They were shipped in 5 see through boxes inside a cardboard box then in a bubble wrap envelope. However the was no cushioning between the bulbs and they rattled. I ordered another set from a different company and not only were they cushioned they were half the price of Harvard marine.

Wrong item sent. Seller was curt, very impolite on phone. It was their error and he hung-up on me. Dont buy from seller... VERY VERY DISHONEST!

Took 3 weeks to get a can of lube. Im in NC...i could have walked and got it faster. Can I say they suck!

Bought one of their listed items on amazon. Was suppose to be a quick release strap, an they send a ratchet strap. Called the number that the straps came with an told me I need to look at the model number. When in all actuality they put up the wrong picture for the selling item. Would definitely not reccomend an also left the same review on amazon. I had also contacted customer service which was no help at all. Here is a comparison of pictures of what was advertised an what I recieved. Poor service an not customer friendly, STAY AWAY from this company.

I ordered 32oz quicksilver chemicals on Amazon from them on Jan 3. Today is March 2nd. I cannot request a refund from amazon as the order has not been shipped. I msgd them through amazon and was told all items are on back order from mercury.1. How are you selling a product you don’t have?2. Why do I have to contact you to tell me you don’t have it.I asked for smaller sized bottle to fulfill the order since I can’t seem to cancel through amazon.

Mike was extremely helpful when I called the shop he dropped what he was doing and searched for a part that was ridiculously hard to find. When I missed him on the phone due to my time difference he reached out to me on his cell phone so I would be able to speak to him as needed, he got my item out fast and efficiently! I have been dealing with this Company for years. They are not only very helpful with answering all my questions but they make sure I always order the correct item. I called the store, not thinking about the time difference between them and Missouri. The owner answered the phone, and stated he was working late, and it was 10 pm there. He asked what I was needing, and I told him the part that I was looking at on Amazon, and he looked it up in his inventory, took my payment over the phone, and shipped it to the repair shop where Im having the work done at. He went above and beyond, and was more than helpful in helping me resolve my situation. I dont give 5 star ratings, because the only perfect person was Jesus Christ himself. This gentleman represented the effort we all should put forth when we deal with each other. If all business owners were as helpful, the world would be better off...for sure. After getting only the answering machine with a COVID message and no return calls three months had gone past. When I finally got the older man on the phone he claimed it had been too long to find the information and said all refunds had been processed, he then hung up on me and would not take my return calls. Very poor customer service and they kept the parts and my $85 dollars plus return shipping costs. DO NOT ORDER FROM HARVARD MARINE!!!

Ordered a 6 pack of spark plugs instead of stopping by a local store. I even chose a higher priced seller on amazon thinking there would be no problems... received 5 plugs... sent an email stating the shortage, and was told i was sent 6. No s@#t!! Why would i need to send an email stating a shortage if i received all 6? I wish i had read these reviews before i ordered... i could have either went to a retail store or chose a cheaper seller on amazon. Now i have a fresh rebuild v6 with 5 plugs, and will have to go to a marine shop anyway. Amazon, drop this seller. Worst customer service. Could have saved my day. Bought a fuel water separator from them. Ended up needing it in the biggest bass tournament I ever fished. Once I opened the box, realized they sent me the wrong filter. Then they would not return the incorrect item they sent me! Ill let my boat sink before I ever gave them another dollar

Bought item off Amazon from Harvard Marine, 1st, they took my money without shipping the item, after waiting 2 weeks past arrival date, kept emailing company, no response, I requested a refund after a month late, they would only issue a Refund when I shipped the item Back to them, Stay Away. They take your money and run dont ship nothing to you. Reporting to BBB.

Shockingly rude over-the-phone.I placed an online order.3-minutes later, I realized it was incorrect.I emailed customer service to please “cancel the order”.I then called to verbally confirm the cancellation, before they shipped the product.The man who answered was unbelievably abrasive. He began scolding me immediately to just “send the email”.I did get a confirmation email that they received my request and no further action was required. Great - problem solved, right?3-hours later...I get a shipping notice, from Harvard Marine. I called and again, spoke to the same unpleasant man who declared, “Look PAL - I got 3,000 boxes a day goin’ outta here...blah - blah, you can imagine the rest at this point. HARVARD MARINE Does Not Stand Behind Their Products! Buyer Beware!I purchase a water pressure regulator from Harvard Marine which failed two weeks after the installation. The unit developed a fracture and was filling my boat with water.I contact Harvard Marine to return this item and they told me it’s now a warranty claim with Jabsco. What a joke! I was sold a defective product and now I need to go to the vendor and pay shipping costs to get the item replaced?!?!Harvard Marine follows the Amazon Returns policy which is 30 days. I am within the window, but they still chose to not accept the return. They are obviously a very small company that I will NEVER do business with again!I like to shop on Amazon because the prices are usually better than the local boating stores, but when companies sell defective items and do not stand behind them, that makes me more opt to stick with my local stores. Local stores will accept any return within 30 days, especially a defective one.

Worst company ever, we orderd an impeller/water pump for an outboard motor and he sent a roll of tape. When he found out about the mistake he sent some electronic part that had nothing to do with pumping water. We have family that traveled to be here and want to spend time with them while we can aso dont buy from this guy if you value time!

Took the time to call me back almost at the end of business hours to focus on getting me what I was looking for. Took the time to print a shipping label for the part to confirm the part would arrive on time so I could go fishing the day after it arrived. Awesome customer service.

They advertised a fan for $36, And fan for $26, charge me the $36 and sent me the $26 fan. Call and The guy was very rude and ignorant and said theres only one fan theres nothing he can do about it. Mike is a crook. He refuses to pay for product he purchased and then sky rocketed the price and resold it. Do not ever by canvas for boats from him. He is does not have the original factory patterns. Letas top shop has the original patterns and that is where he purchased them from and said they were his. He also lies.

I hang up, verify that the item that came was not my order, and return the call to see if theres any communication that can persist via telephone. That was when the warhead exploded, I was told things and called things that I refuse to repeat in this review and belittled because I had requested that they pay for the shipping for the wrong item they sent me.
