I go on the Stop and Shop website and download online coupons to my rewards card. Rewards cards are available at the Customer Service desk. Prices of food are higher than that of Shop Rite but lower than that of King Kullen.The produce department is excellent. Fruits and vegetables stay fresh for days.However, I am disappointed in the quality of meats. The rib eye steak was so bad I had to spit it out.Overall, this store is satisfactoryUpdate: On 6/16, I called Customer Service and provided them my rewards card number. A representative said that the “rib eye” matter will be investigated.

I love being able to shop with the ‘gun’ to keep track of my spending, as well as being able to bag my items as I shop, so much quicker and I can bag my groceries the way I want them bagged. I used to be a Shoprite customer, but not anymore.One complaint I have is jumbo eggs. They are far from jumbo. Some even look like they are small/medium. I have given up on their eggs and make an inconvenient stop at Meat Farms for my jumbo eggs, and they are much cheaper.I do love Stop n Shop….even if some prices are more expensive than Shoprite. All about convenience while shopping, ringing up my order and bagging my groceries. Worth a few extra pennies.Everybody is very pleasant as well.

The manager refused to send a western union transfer because she said “ I am not comfortable doing it” as if she had the authority to decide who uses the services offer by stop and shop. Nothing was confusing or untrustworthy regarding the transfer, she simply didn’t want to do it because she was on her cell phone and talking to someone else. People like this are the reason why good business practices go under . Good luck stop and shop . The manager really stops people from shopping.🤦🏻

My wife and I have shopped at Stop n shop Holbrook since the day it opened. Never an issue with store in general...until last week.Went to deli counter and waited patiently in line to give my cold cut order to clerk. I handed the gentleman a list of 6 cold cuts with each being 1 to 2 lbs each. The gentleman then says I dont do lists to which I replied oh you must have good memory !!.He again stated he doesnt do lists and he will make the order when he gets a chance!!!!.... I WAS FLOORED WITH THIS RESPONSE!!! I should have read it to him 1 by 1 and maybe I would have gotten my order....I did not use deli kiosk as I had no shopping to do there at that time. I then proceed to front door completely in shock of the poor customer service and Stop n shop just lost out on over $100 deli orderI should have spoke with store manager but I was so angry, just walked out.Stop n shop is no longer our family grocery store

Clean store and good selection, actually saw two people drop things and was announced and cleaned quickly. Also went the day after panic buying from a predicted hurricane and shelves were stocked well. Produce is well maintained and anything that doesnt look appetizing was removed. Cashier friendly with separate bagger who was careful. Good experience.

Great store but bathrooms are disgusting. Very disappointing that the entire store is well kept and so clean and that the toilet seats are literally falling off and the doors do not stay closed. The toilet paper containers are broken as well so the toilet paper has been on the floor sometimes. There are no seat protectors provided either. This has been a consistent issue for the past year of visiting this grocery store.

This store is always clean, sale items are always available. The deli counter is so helpful and Johnny always has a smile for his customers. The pharmacists show concern and Mike the store manager runs the store like a well oiled machine. Absolutely my go to food shopping store

Never (doesn’t matter the day) has good produce in stock. Fried chicken either. Disappointing that our local store has such a limited supply of items and not fresh produce.

Clean, well stocked, I do not buy their own brand.

I get more & more disappointed everytime I go now. Instead of spending so much money advertising, they should invest in stocking their store. My last visit the meat, produce & dairy departments were all wiped out. Other customers also complaining. One man said I dont know why I still come here. Usually the store on montauk hwy is better than rt 109, not this time....

Good afternoonI had one yes of the worst experiences at your store located 57-01 Sunrise Hwy, Holbrook, NY 11741.Horrific experience all staff are in need of expert training.I have never been treated like that before. I had 4 items in my hand. The cashier turned off his light I was 2nd in he told me he had to go to lunch and refuse to ring me up. I put all items back.My girlfriend and her mother used your skin gun in the store to make a $215 purchase. When they got to the cashier she was unable to process it 3 times. Then she told us we had to unpack everything and re scared it . It was no way were unpacking all of our bags like that but at the end we did unpack everything and left it for them to put back this was a horrific experience. That cost your store at least 200 to $300 in Revenue.I will be conducting my shopping at Audi or ladle maybe ShopRite.

I do shop there every week & can usually find everything I need plus the prices are fair. My problem is with the employees. They have skids of products blocking the the aisles & making it hard to get what you need. Sometimes they don’t even get out of your way. The cashiers are usually nice & friendly as are the pharmacy employees ( the pharmacy is great) but I really can’t say the same about the employees working on the floor.

I am very displeased with this store. This is the second time I have had food thrown over the counter from the same individual working the deli counter. It was very unprofessional. This behavior is un acceptable!

Love my Stop & Shop. Always fresh and clean. The deli guys are nice, but then again so are the guys who stock the frozen food aisle. Any time I’ve ask for help with anything I’m always met with a smile.

This store is in need of improvement. I have been shopping here for over 10 years, every week, once a week. It was an inviting store filled with everything I need. The renovations that took place a while back did help spruce it up for a fresh look (even though the whole floor had to be torn up again and it was never replaced).My biggest issue is the smoking problem. I have contacted management more times than I can count about people smoking (workers and customers) too close to the building. Suffolk Countys Legislation prohibits smoking within 50 feet of the building. Too often I find someone smoking right by the entrances so much so that the whole lobby is filled with smoke odor. This has gotten worse since more people in the Holbrook area have been smoking pot. On more than one occasion I smell pot smoke coming from right inside the store. Workers apparently like to smoke in the back areas inside the store (the loading docks, behind the bakery, order pick-up areas), but I even smell it in the aisles of the store at times.This is not only illegal, but it endangers the health and safety of everyone inside. Stop and Shop encourages everyone to wear a mask to prevent COVID, yet all the exposure to tobacco and marijuana is increasing everyones risk of contracting it.Staff also leaves shopping carts in handicapped parking areas. One staff member was not wearing a mask, sneezed in her hand, and started touching self-checkout monitors. She did not sanitize her hand or the spaces she touched.Management needs to quality check the Stop and Shop team to stop this!

Good quality meat in larger packages may be found here, such as boneless, skinless chicken breasts and beef steaks such as tenderloin and bottom round. Prices are spread widely from about five to fourteen dollars per pound. Again, the quality is good. After shopping yesterday afternoon, I went to Aldi Supermarket. They had not the variety as Stop & Shop, but their meat was excellent quality (with a pricepoint including managers special price reductions) at about thirty to forty percent less. Both stores nicely laid out, but one has a robot (I swear has a surveillance camera in its infrastructure) to spy on shoppers. That store is Stop Til You Drop from cost-of-merchandise shock. Bottom Line:

I have a friend who swears by Shop Rite. She says SnS is more expensive. My take is SnS has a larger variety of products and if a shopping trip costs a little more because a store has a wider variety and some better quality items too, and some of those items cost a bit more but I want them, then thats where Im shopping.

Visibility of prices or sales are poor. Items in flyer either dont show sale price or arent in stock. Unless you download their scan it app you could spend all day trying to find the correct price on items. They have significantly limited choices between manufacturers on quite a few items leaving less choice. Chop meat should never be as expensive as it is here. Last I checked we have more cattle in this country than anywhere else in the world!Your response is lacking. Come take a tour of your store with me and Ill show you how much of your stock is incorrectly priced or sales not marked on shelves. Shopping should be made easier for the customer not harder.

This is my weekly store to do all my shopping... they remodeled last year. Clean store, well organized, helpful staff.

Stop and Shop is a little more expensive than the store I usually go to, but Stop and Shop always has plenty of items to purchase, the fruit and meat always looks fresh. Your sale items are great. The store also has hard to find products when following a recipe. But, unfortunately, you pay extra for that service.

This Holbrook locations much better than the Sayville location. Better stocked and much better attitudes. Also seems like less price gouging unlike the Sayville site.

Love this store. Has everything Im looking for. Fresh produce, fresh cold cuts, fresh meats. Truly a one stop shop.

I was there today and I gotta say the store is very clean and stocked. My problem was with an employee my god that person had some mad squabbles.. I asked a simple question and I got the look of death!!I also wanna know whats up with the robotWalking around ?? I think its taking video of everyone

STOP & Shop needs to better understand the needs of the customer. The Robot wasnt necessary. What we need is not to wait at the deli, while everyone behind the counter is working on kiosk orders. Split the staff evenly. Also, you took the coffee grinder away, why? Changes should be made with the customer in mind. Thank you.

Not as big as the one on Portion road. Had most everything youd expect though. Honestly it was a little more intimate which was nice.

Always have great experience here. Manager Chris helped my elderly Mother and i personally get toiletries and heavy items to register and out to the car when i hurt my back. Store is always clean, and stocked, and employees are always nice.

Terrible experience. Wound up not buying anything. Line around a whole aisle. Only had 4 items. Teenager dispatching people to walk a few hundred feet to the next available cashier. I wanted to go to self check out. Bad enough they tell us which direction we walk now some kid is going to tell me when I can check out? Never going back to that stop and shop. One way aisles are BS. Doesnt matter which direction you walk in you still interact with same people. If anything Ive been in more collisions with people because I assume that people are paying attention but they arent. Terrible experience.

Always has been a great branch of S & S. Recently though there was a complete renovation & grand re-opening. Its fantastic; seems bigger even though it didnt need to be.I went through the U-Scan & have to say THAT was needed; U-Scans are usually cramped so people are standing on top of each other. Combine that with the fact that 99% of the people using them think it will make things move faster but it winds up doing the opposite b/c they dont know what theyre doing. The re-vamp of the U-Scans is huge & spaced much better!

In my honest opinion the best Stop and Shop grocery store around. Clean and sells all products, quick in out service with real live people working registers instead of the self checkouts. Which they have as well.

Great produce selection. Friendly staff. Love the scan option.... just scan drop it in your bag and only one transaction at the register. This is how food shopping should be everywhere.

The produce is so fresh and so is the meat. Love the gluten free aisles and the pure Imported Olive Oil. With renovation came so many new products including variety of vegan foods. It’s my one stop shop for food.

The new style of the store makes it harder and an inconvenience to shop.

Found what I was looking for, produce is plentiful, selections are good, all is fresh, located a jar of Mezzatta Castellano olives which is a good find, but almost hit the floor when i found it cost over $7.00, but purchased it anyway.

This is no doubt the place to get some ground provisions, foods, vegetables and staples that are not available at Target.But I still prefer going to Target, Stop and Shop just have a glum and lack feeling to it, and not much of a shopping experience to be had.I am just in and out, in a flash.

It is 7pm, 3 eployees were standing behind counter. No body taking care of me for sefood. It will take a minute to take a salmon put in bag scale and give to customer. Thats all.

Stop & Shop Holbrook was just completely remodeled and it LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!! It is definitely the crown jewel of supermarkets in this area. Check out the amazing beer selection. Hope they all look like this someday soon.

I have been shopping at the Holbrook Stop and Shop for decades. I was always able to find everything I needed and my shopping trip was a breeze. When they started renovating I though ok...theyre going to do some updating. Might be nice. I was not prepared for the results, however. It appears they are trying to emulate Whole Foods and, although it looks nice, I think it is poorly organized. I spend way too much time looking for things I need and I am not exaggerating when I say that they have stopped stocking at least 25% of what I used to buy on a regular basis. I know it takes a while to get used to a new floor plan, but I still think it is too haphazard in its new design. Another thing that I hoped they would correct is how much of the produce is stocked on upper shelves that this five feet tall woman cannot possibly reach. Seriously?? AND they still have that one checkout woman who is as slow as molasses, talks incessantly with her co-workers and the customers who just want to pay for their stuff and leave. She appears to be living in some other parallel universe of her own making. Im probably going to start looking for another supermarket, unfortunately.

Surprisingly horrible customer service. Unknowledgeable staff giving misinformation and unwarranted attitude. As someone who’s worked in the service industry I do understand that everyone goes through bad days and can’t always be on their game. After speaking to five different people over two days regarding this one matter, it’s clear this Stop & Shop needs to reevaluate their staff.

Stop and shop is generally OK and this is one of the nicer ones. They usually have a pretty wide selection and the store brand is pretty solid. However, its not a nice, new, modern grocery store so dont expect a trader Joes or Whole Foods.

The new renovations are very impressive. Love the new Cafe and the fresh made smoothies (I had the pina colada) YUM.The to go food bar is very nice with many great choices. I love the scan it feature. Helps me get in and out quickly.Specials are always a good buy. And love the gas rewards feature.Bonus: I won 5.00 on a scratch off lottery on my way out

Horrible the new remodel was a huge mistake. Less variety in many areas especially frozen. The designer allowed many of the aisle to land with structural columns smack in the middle. No thought to use or flow. All to accommodate a kitchen and grill. Foolish waste of space. Is a supermarket not a restaurant.

Ive been shopping here for years. Dont know why this new renovation was necessary. Everything was very easy to find before. The items now are all over the place. Takes me twice as long to shop and I keep forgetting groceries because same type items are located not all in one aisle but all over the store.Wish everything was back where it used to be in the aisles. Sometimes big changes arent always for the better.

Good supermarket, been coming here for a few years. Double check dates on produce and meat. Have noticed a few missed best by through the years.

Update 3/23/19: Store is under renovations and it is very hard to find what you are looking for for many items. Passover items are all over the place instead of in one area. Passover items are mixed in with other NON Passover Kosher items, and for religious people, this is a no no. Prices on shelves and displays are not in proximity of items you want to check price for.. Price check scanners are no where to be found. When you are looking for an item and ask an employee, they are not able to give you the correct answers like they used to before the renovation. They SHOULD have shut down the store, got the renovations done and then reopened NOT to have the confusion and anger I felt there yesterday. I will avoid this location now until it is done and visit another location or another supermarket chain. AAARGH! Only GOOD thing is that employees are truly friendly and do try to help you.Lots of food, good prices, Lots of parking. Good variety of products to choose from.
