I have called and scheduled an appointment with the business for a fence quote on two separate occasions. Each time the appointment was confirmed but no one ever showed up at my house. I heard great things about the business through word of mouth and reviews but did not get to experience it myself. Best of luck to the next customer.

We could not be happier, we have an acre of land and a very large fence project. Fence Men offered a superior built on site fence for the same price all the other companies were trying to install cheap H D stockade fall apart fence (just like the horrible fence we were replacing already). The new fence is FULL privacy board on board and very very sturdy. They use really thick premium fence pickets, real 2x4s for the framing and all pressure treated right down to the 4x4 support posts.This fence will not be sagging like our last fence did.We will be using this company for another fence project on the other side of our property soon, the new fence installed makes the rest of our existing old fence look like junk. Thank you Fence Men our property looks beautiful again!

On 11-29-2019, the Fence Men installed a fence and gate at my residence. They did an outstanding job, and went he extra yard by installing a post next to my neighbors gate post, which closed the gap enough to contain her dogs. They did not take credit for its location, but it was no accident. Thanks guys for all your really great work. Don Back

Had some fencing and a couple gates installed by Eddie and Kevin. These guys could not have been more careful working on my property. They did a great job on the install making sure everything was level and plumb. The fencing materials were a good quality too. I would not hesitate having these guys put up additional fencing for me should the need arise.

They never sent the quote after coming out to measure. Called an emailed several times and nobody responded. They came highly recommended so was very disappointed trying to beg for a quote, and it proved to be a waste of my time.

We are new to the area and we needed a fence done. Our neighbor had them do her fence and we loved the look so we contacted them. Elias and his partner did a phenomenal job!! Great quality for our privacy fence. Now our fur babies can go out and play today December 12th 2019!! If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well, and these guys did a great job !! Professional, courteous, quality workmanship. Being in the construction business for almost 40 years, I have developed an eye for things to be structurally sound. I look for things such as types of materials used, proper plumb, level, have a stable foundation, and an attractive finish. Also worksite cleanliness, and a good work ethic displayed by the employees. Eddie and Jerm did not disappoint me. Good enough was not good enough for these 2 guys. They installed my fence as if they were installing it at their own mothers house. Took the time to check & recheck. Secured and re-secured. All panels have a good tight fit, gates swing and lock properly, hardware (hinges and locks) placed properly and not just slapped in. When digging the posts it was discovered that a Spectrum/Verizon cable was encroaching the fence line. Eddie took the time to carefully hand dig all the posts to avoid hitting the line. Like I said, they went the extra mile. This fence has been built strong & functional, but also very pleasing to the eye (all my neighbors compliments have substantiated that). They are a local, multi-generational family owned business that takes pride in what they build & stand behind their work should a problem or repair occur in the future.Bottom line is... I callem like I seeem & you wont go wrong by hiring Fence Men.

I almost never write reviews, and I am pretty critical of most of the contractors Ive worked with, but these guys were very good. Their price was better than the big box fence companies. They showed up on time, built us a nice fence, and had it all done in about two days. Its been about a year, and the fence looks great.

They are very professional with integrity, they did a great job and made the whole experience of letting someone else do a job I was going to do myself very gratifying. I met Lee on a job,, got a quote settled on a figure, when the job was completed a check was written by someone else for the quote amount (larger amount), but rejected by Lee. He stood behind the deal he made. Lees crew were nothing short of beingAWESOME,,Eddie,, Mark..Jesse. Not only were these guys hard working, but what impressed me the most was their, attitude. Good spirits and no foul mouths, very polite and respectful, made my mother - in - law very happy with the entire experience. My grandmother recently got her fence done by this company and I will say they over charge her and didn’t do what they told her they would do. She wanted to fence all the way to the ground because she has dogs and didn’t want them to get out well instead of doing what they told her they would do the fence is 4-5inches off the ground and now the dogs get out, she informed them the day after about the fence and they told her to put dirt so they wouldn’t get out . My grandmother is 70 years old!! Something that was written down and verbally explained of what she wanted done, she paid 3,000 for something that should of been 1,800 according to another company, they took advantage of her and now won’t return her calls because she just wants them to do what was promised!! Overall I don’t recommend this company at all I don’t see how they stay in business

I received a recommendation from my neighbor to call the fence man since I was in serious need of a new fence. I had met with Lee, the owner, to discuss some options to put up fencing in my backyard. He came out, gave me some option on material and pricing and after a weekend of thought I called him to have the job done. Eddie called me that Tuesday and he and his crew got started. They were troopers with the on and off drizzle of rainstorms and managed to get the job done quite nicely. They were knowledgeable and professional. I definitely recommend these guys for any fencing needs!

The Fence Men did a great job on fence. If I had any complaint at all it would be due to scheduling. They seem busy and any number of circumstances (weather, personnel, other) can cause you to get bumped back a couple days. We have used them for two properties and plan on using them again.

I had just bought a house and needed a new fence. Two of my family members strongly recommended The Fence Men to me because they did excellent work for them. Lee stood me up the first scheduled appointment I had for an estimate. I called the office several times that day to see if he was going to make it and they kept telling me he was, but he never showed. I called the next day and rescheduled. When Lee did come out to give me the estimate I was very clear that I wanted my fence to be flush with the ground because I have 3 dogs and I wanted to make sure there was no way they could get out of my yard. He said that would not be a problem. When they came to install the fence I walked around with them and again stated that I wanted the fence flush with the ground because of my dogs. They again stated that was fine. When the fence was put up it was minimum 4 to 6 inches off the ground. I told them while they were there that this was not okay and they blew me off because my neighbors had a fence up behind me. My response was what if the neighbors take down the fence. It is my responsibility to keep my dogs in my yard. Which is one of the reasons for the fence. They proceeded to leave and did not care much for my concern. I called the office the next day to see if we could rectify the situation and the receptionist stated that she would have them come back out and Lee told them to put 4 X 4 up along the bottom of the fence. When they got to my house they did not have any equipment with them and they just pushed dirt up against the fence. Then they proceeded to tell me that it was my responsibility to have done this as the homeowner. When I asked them about the 4 X 4 along the bottom of the fence they stated that Lee did not know what he was talking about and it could not be done. Well now that a few a good rain storms have passed. The dirt has washed away and my dog keeps trying to go under the fence. Since there is such a big gap between the ground and the fence. I do keep pushing the dirt back up against the fence, but this is Florida and it rains all the time. So the rain keeps washing away the dirt. My parents were going to use them to replace their fence, but not now after my experience.

This is a family-owned business that I have known of for nearly 20 years. I purchased some top rail from them a long time ago and found them to be very accommodating. Recently I decided to make my Hunnys dream of a white picket fence come true so I called Lee at The Fence Men. He came out in person and gave me a quote I found to be very fair.I called to have the work done - a very small job for them and they fit me in as soon as they could. The fence looks perfect and my Hunny is beaming.Many thanks to Lee and his tech Adam for doing an excellent job at a reasonable cost. What he said he would do, when he said he would do it, for what he said it would cost. Imagine that in todays world. I would not hesitate to recommend this fine company.

Definitely knowledgeable on fencing. Lee seemed to be great, but they are impossible to get ahold of. They missed multiple appointments when I had adjusted my work schedule to be home and were miserable to get in contact with. It was always a different excuse, the phones were down, emails went unanswered, voicemail was full, etc. I hate it because like I said, Lee was the most professional estimate we got ( even though he didnt show for the first appointment.)The quality of the fence is fantastic and the crew was great but the crew that did our work was a sub contractor for Fence Men.I was initially told they were supposed to be at our house between 8:30-9:30 am but the day before I got a call saying it would be more like 12-1 but they would keep in touch to let me know. They didnt show up until almost 3:30!!! I took the whole day off work because they said I needed to be here when they got here! I tried calling the office 15+ times that day alone because I had a medical emergency and needed to go to the dr and didnt want to miss them. I did not get a single answer and was unable to leave a message because the mailbox was full. I even sent an email and a Facebook message both with no response.Luckily I was able to make it to my drs and back before they got here. When they arrived I went over everything again with them to make sure we were on the same page. I had to reiterate several times that I did want the fence all the way to the ground because of my dogs though. So I would recommend being home during the entire install to make sure it is how you want it.I can appreciate the quality of work that was provided but the hassle of getting someone to answer the phones and their disregard for our schedule was very off putting.I will not be using them in the future.

Not sure why they have 5 stars when THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES! So frustrating. Ive called them 11 times since Monday and it just rings and rings and then their voicemail picks up. No thanks, Ill use a different fencing company who actually answers their phone.
