Great place to store your stuff. The manager Ed is very helpful. We were working in the heat, and he was kind enough to bring us some Gatorade.

Rented the storage unit based on recommendation from my movers, Two Men and a Truck. Sight unseen I trusted the recommendation of 20 by 30. Arrived with gate open and found my unit easily per the directions in the email. The white tag and lock were right where they were supposed to be. My movers showed how the lock and door work. Went to the office to leave key for movers to be able to pick my furnishings. Staff in office were polite helpful and professional. Couldnt have made a better choice!

This has been one of the easiest processes I have ever done. I called about a 2 month storage at about 15 minutes before the local office closed. They offered me a great online only deal. They reserved the unit(last one left for the size). Gave me the number to the local office. I called and filled out all the paperwork and e signed right then, all before the local office closed. Had the unit ready to go within 15 minutes of the first inquiry. Unit was clean and lock set was in package waiting on the unit for me. Excellent. Could not recommend more.

I signed for a space starting in Sept. 2020 and worked out the details of the space with Ed. I was originally offered one month free, but explained I was looking for a long-term storage solution and requested a slightly lower monthly rate in lieu of the free month. Ed obliged and we struck an accord.5 months later I was notified that rate for the space was going to be increased.This increase negated any net savings- I would have been far better served taking the free month as originally offered.However, if that was the case I never would have rented here in the first place.I discussed this with Ed, who followed up with management for a solution that might temporarily stay the rate increase (coming close to matching at least the value of the free month).Ive not heard back from Ed over several weeks and I was just charged the full increased rate price.Im not happy about striking an accord and having the business go back on the arrangement within 6 months with a large price increase, negating the savings of the offer far beyond their original promotion- which is how they earned my business in the first place.Im also disappointed in the lack of follow up and communication on Eds part.(FYI extra space feels fair market retail value is over $200) which is far beyond what avg. rates in the area are for the same size space & thats nearly a 50% price increase over the original quoted price- that they can then impose in small increments every 6-9 months.Now, Im forced examine the prospect of taking the time on a weekend to spend $100s to rent a truck and load up the contents of my storage to move it to a facility that can stick to a negotiated price, follow up, and wont raise my rate every 6 months....and I might just do it, even though it will undoubtedly cost me more money in the near term-Their behavior maybe acceptable within the terms of the contract but in my opinion, I find it distasteful and reprehensible.*When you decide to rent, ask those questions about rate raises, and look elsewhere to find a competitive offer with other businesses in the market before signing a contract with Extra Space Storage & thank you for taking the time to read my review of my experience with Extra Space storage.

I highly recommend using Extra Space Storage. There storage units are clean and secured. I used a climate-controlled unit for 3 years and never had any problems with water damage, pest infestation, nor mold. The people are friendly and very helpful.

Ed was SUPER helpful and very polite. Awesome customer service. Three lady working on there was very personable and made great conversation during my transaction. Everything was explained well, it IS a bit pricey but the service is worth it. Will use whenever I need storage! (Sucks no power outlet though, wanted to put my computer models in there haha.)

Ed was wonderful. I wasnt able to get all my stuff out of the unit for several weeks. He even allowed me to have a PACK RAT container on the property for several days. My friend and I are both disabled, getting someone to help unload the storage unit into the container was hard. Everyone wanted more than we could afford to pay. But we were finally able to get someone able to help. Ed was so patient. Best manager I know.

ED was a pleasure to deal with. Down to earth and honest about all procedures and fees upfront! He got me set up with two storage units! I moved out of a three bedroom house and into a 1 bedroom apartment. (so I had a lot to store/sell) Ed helped me find storage for my stuff that was the cheapest in the area / region, in a secured location, with clean units. Exactly what I needed! Hes very knowledgeable when it comes to the storage game. He can give you pretty accurate estimate on what size unit you will need. My other Unit I needed a parking spot and Ed was able to tell me all my options from outdoor parking to enclosed parking that was available. I would suggest to call the office direct vs going through corporate when it comes to your needs. That way Ed can get you set up correct! Corporate is good but, Ed will provide you the best experience!

I absolutely love the folks here. Ed is especially awesome. The storage units are clean, secure, in good repair, and the prices beat out the competition. Paying is easily done via automated phone system, auto pay, or probably paying in person if you really want to. Ive moved three times now locally, and every time, theyve always hooked me up with a great price on a storage unit. Ive tried both climate control and non-climate controlled units, both are excellent -- Ive found my stuff safe and secure with no damage both times, even despite hurricanes. :) (The climate controlled units truly are low humidity with nice AC as promised.)

If you dont mind getting your rate jacked up every six months, this is a good convenient place to rent. Ive had a unit since 2017 and my rent is now 50% higher than when I started storing with them. Originally $113, now up to $185!

I had just came into Florida and I needed storage immediately, but I would be arriving after storage units were closed. Extra storage came back in after hours just to check me in and do paper work. We have been storing commercial tools and office supplies here for over 6 years. The staff here are great. They allow us to have truck deliveries to our storage space even when were not there which makes our business operations very easy and seamless. Some of our employees store their belongings here too. Wes & Ed always take care of any issues quickly and professionally and the delivery guys always have good things to say about this place.
