Let me begin by saying if you want good quality work professionally done and correct this is the place to bring. I have a rat rod I let them know what my vision was and they made it come true, these guys know what they are doing they take pride in their work and you came see it in the workmanship and let me tell you, Joe is one heck of a guy he does work you depending on your financial situation. I have no complaints whatsoever the cast and the workmanship was better then I thought. I highly recommend graveyard classic restoration to everyone that wants work done to their vehicle, my thanks go to all the guys that worked on my truck at graveyard
They do excellent jobs, if you have a collection car this is the right place. They are very detailed and the people is very friendly and wants to help you.
I did not use there service but my car was towed the men there were very kind to us Offered me and my pregnant girlfriend to chairs the cars they were working on were gmc classics they doing a great job very recommended
Took my car to Graveyard Classics for a full rotisserie restoration. They had my car for over 3 years and did not even complete it. I was told it would be a 6 month process but counted on 1 year. There were so many delays and excuses it was ridiculous. It took a year and a half for fab work and engine rebuild. sat another year and a half to get it painted. So after 3 years fab and paint were completed. Still had to complete interior and exhaust. Joe the owner and I came up with a budget and a price for what we were going to do with my car. Needless to say after fab, engine and paint we were already 25k over budget of what the whole project was to be and that was without interior and exhaust. Joe is a good salesman but lacks the skill of running a professional restoration shop. Do yourself a favor don’t bring your car there, find another restoration shop. After 3 1/2 years there of waisted time and money I decided pull my car out of Graveyard Cars. Now I know why he calls it Graveyard cars. Because you car sits there for eternity and costs you a fortune.
I had my car restored and it looks amazing.
When it comes to repairs and maintenance on your classic car you typically want the best possible. Graveyard Classics is NOT that place if you are a new customer. After getting into a slight fender bender with my 87 camaro back in January I looked all over the South Florida area for a shop that I felt comfortable bringing my car to. I live in Homestead and decided to drive the hour drive to Hollywood to check out the shop and get an estimate. The owner told me that he has a guy who does estimates but does not work for the shop directly. He said it would be about $100 the guy charges for the estimate. The owner of the shop told me that if I decided to use his shop and services after the estimate he would take the $100 off the total bill. I went home got the estimate and called the shop to schedule a date to get my car in. The owner told me that they are backed up on their workload do to covid. I completely understood that and he told me to check back in a couple of weeks. I did this paitently and respectfully several times and received the same answer this went on until April. They never called me I always had to call to check on availability. The accident was being covered by insurance and one would think if someone is calling that many times and is that persistent than they are probably seriously interested in getting their car fixed. Finally in April I got a date to bring the car up. I told them that I work Monday through Friday and asked if it was possible to drop the car off on Saturday. The owner stated that wasnt a problem just call the day before to confirm they still can take it in. I called early in the week before my scheduled appointment and the receptionist stated the owner was out and could not confirm my appointment. She said she would have him call me back when he got in the office. Never got that call. I called the following day and got the same run around. Never received a call back. Saturday comes around and my car is still down in Homestead in my garage. Do not waste your time with Graveyard Classics as theyre unprofessional with customer service and do not care about new clients. I have since found a new shop willing to except new customers and who will not waste your time. Go elsewhere and save yourself a headache.
I feel fortunate that Graveyard Classics is literally 15 minutes from my house. I spoke with Joe to get a feel for what it takes to own and modify a classic Truck. Looking forward to whatever awesome project we come up with.
I am a beginner in the classic car world and Jo was great in guiding me in my choices
Joe has assembled a team who understand my language ( american hot rod). Due to excellent communication with the mechanics, shop manager, and knowledgeable office lady, my project turned out exactly as I requested. Well, actually better than expected.
You can tell that these guys are great just by the quality of the cars people are leaving with them
Work done on my car was excellent. Joe the owner was super helpful. He kept me updated every step of the way and the work was done in timely fashion. Great job guys!!
Have nothing but good things to say about Graveyard Classics. Own several older vehicles and have drove by Graveyard many times over the last few years. Finally decided to stop in with my 1976 Dodge Van to have some work done. Michele the receptionist, Joe the owner, Bob I believe is the shop manager and of course Juan aka mouse were ALL AWESOME. Scheduled an appointment and in less than a day my van was done!! Plan on bringing some of my other vehicles and have some minor upgrades done to my van in the near future. Thanks Again for all you Help!!!
Joe was terrific and saved me a lot of money. He looked at my 57 Olds and told me right away what i needed. He said it would save me money if I went directly to a muffler shop. He called the shop for me and they did the job at dealer cost. He did not charge me a penny for looking at the car and arranging for the other shop to take me immediately. i will use his shop in the future.
All I can say is that these guys realllllllllly know their stuff. I stopped by to talk about an old car my father in law has had sitting in his garage forever and what kind of work may need to be done to it to get it back up and running and looking brand new. Joe and his crew gave me a full complete list of things I should consider. Awesome- would highly recommend!
Joe and bob are the most honest people I have ever seen in my life I couldn’t believe it recommend this place 10,000 percent and will definitely be coming back
The owner, Joe, is a great guy. Hes very fair when it comes to pricing and works with your situation. Theyre very knowledgeable; around good experience.
BEWARE of Joe the owner takes your deposits to finish his other old projects that have been sitting there for months. Hell make you promises and charge you more money down the line so he can buy parts or paint for the other cars that customers are complaining when will their cars be finished. What comes out of his mouth is all lies with his sweet talking flapper moving only to make you hear what you want to hear.
Took my 67 GTO to this shop and had an extensive amount of work done. I was treated with respect and professionalism all the way through this process. Was kept completely up to date on the work and had access to all who worked on it at all times. I reccomend this shop and all involved to trust your classic car with. Very satisfied with Joe and the whole crew.
Please do not go here. The owner Joe will do anything in his power to rip you off . He insisted that all parts used to repair vehicles must be sourced by himself, so that he can list them at over 300% of their value. He mentioned that this was how his company made profit . When trying to discuss the mater over the phone he simply yelled at me and hung up. He was extremely rude to myself ( a costumer) and makes people feel uncomfortable. Dont waist your time or your hard earned money at this place
Joe was fantastic. He was always very attentive and was constantly communicating with us through the entire process! Im glad I came across GraveYard Classics!
5 STARS!! Graveyard Classics is a great experience. Period! Joe and the crew are extremely knowledgeable in both domestic and foreign cars, classic or antique. These guys can take a project that looks like it was fished out of the ocean and have it turning heads in no-time. Based on my experiences theres no better shop in Florida. Ive been working with Joe for quite a few years now and wouldnt take my projects anywhere else! Thank you Joe, you guys make it easy to be a fan of your exceptional work and even easier to be a customer for life! Look for a few more classic Lincolns and Fords headed your way from me in the near future.
Great job & professional operation. I wanted to restore a 40 year old 4x4 Ford Bronco. I discusssed my budget and desires. In a few short months what I drove out of the shop was a vehicle that was much more than I could ever had hoped for. Amazing quality work made my midlife crisis everything I hoped it would be.
Friendly, cooperative, and trustworthy.
Customer service is great! Joe is no. 1 and super friendly! Straight up guy.
Joe and his crew are the greatest. I was rear ended in my 85 El Camino and they worked with my insurance and got us the Camino back in time to enter it in yesterday’s Art Deco car show and WE WON!
I am very happy with the work that was done to my truck I highly recommend them to anyone that needs restoration for their vehicles
We brought in our 1963 F100 to the team at graveyard. We have been extremely happy with the entire process from start to finish. In fact we were pleasently surprised that we came in under budjet. Joe the owner was upfront about the entire project, anything we changed or asked for was always met with a smile no matter how crazy an idea . We are now thinking of having them do a 1969 firebird . Highly recommended .
Very high quality work
Unfortunately this was a horrible experience. I made the mistake of hiring Graveyard Classics to wire my 1972 Jeep CJ5. Joe was nice enough but the work that his crew did was ridiculously priced, at $79 p/hour he had an electrician cutting wire ends and putting new ones on with heat shrink for over 4 hours. Then they did a bunch of work I didnt ask for - spent $250 installing to rear fog lights. And finally, lots of the things they fixed dont work. I dont have brake lights, only 2 of 4 side marker lights work, there is something continuously running in the radio that has drained the battery (just had to spend $60 on a new battery).Ill never use them again. And its to bad, because its really hard to find people to work in classic cars. But Graveyard Classics would rather make a lot of money of a few people, then have returning customers and make even more money of steady business. Trust me, move on to the next shop!
You wont find a more Professional Shop in South Florida!!! Friendly Staff as well!!!
