I was a sporadic customer to Deleware Chicken and Fish Market. The last time previous to this one, which I shopped there was prior to the pandemic. I must say I was, and am very disappointed with the experience I had today. First off the store smelled awful. The stench made me almost leave. Secondly the products did not appear very fresh. I selected some fish from the display and upon taking it home it was slimy and did not smell very fresh at all. Furthermore the employees were borderline bullies they were rude and not at all treating me as a client should be treated. I must say after several somewhat favorable experiences at this store, I will never ever go again and furthermore I would not recommend this place to anyone! Take your shopping elsewhere. The food no longer is fresh and the prices from what I recall, have increased substantially. If I could rate this store as a zero I would. I will never go again!

Ordered a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving. The process was simple and it was one of the best turkeys I have made. Ill be back every year.

So this little slice of Meat Heaven helps me to remember my Beloved Butchers from the early 1980’s. We’d all go get our Meats for Sunday Dinners… this is before social media and cell phones. We used to sit as a family eat dinner and look into an actual person’s eyes. This was called a Family Dinner. Thank you White Butcher Jacket Men of The Knife!!! Thank you for caring, making eye contact, answering questions, and smiling! I took my meats, put them on the grill, and enjoyed my family dinner. 1980 all over again!

Absolutely the worst steak Ive ever tried it was so tough and chewy I will never ever buy anything from there again $30 a pound for a ribeye.$75 a pound for king crab that is freezer burnt and taste like blaaahh old AF.Super unfriendly staff very snobby cashier and ignorant no respect. To several customers I had noticed . Ive been coming here for 12 years.... Sad to say I will no longer be a patron here.

We have shopped at Delaware for years and always gotten high quality, fresh seafood. However, today we were sold the fishiest, most tasteless and rubbery filet of grouper one could ever imagine. So disappointing…. Especially considering the price we paid.

Very nice staff who assisted me with what I wanted his name was Art very professional answered all my questions and concerns while maintaining professional courtesy. Will be returning again fresh produce not crowded at all. Overall I enjoyed visiting here for the very first time prices are higher than I expected but well worth the long drive and paying a little more than expected was fine because what I purchase was fresh not frozen where it appears to be fresh but their products in seafood section was fresh. Thank you Mr. Art for the great service you provided for me on today. A five star rating excellent Service from Mr. Art cashiers can be a little more friendly and courteous they can use training in customer service maybe Mr. Art can give them advice on being more professional and friendly.

Went to buy stone crabs. Bought 8 large. Price was seeming unusually high. Weighed claws, and packaging together at home. My weight was more than 3/4 of a pound less than theirs. Calibrated and tested my scale with and independent weight. My number was accurate. Went back to have them re-weigh. Their number was the same as it was when they weighed it the first time. I explained I weighed the exact same package they just weighed and their number is more than 3/4 of a pound more. They tried to argue the difference is because of the loss of shell from cracking. I explained the loss of shell has nothing to do with it. They had just weighed the same exact claws and packaging as I did at home and their number was higher. Be aware. When you are paying $40 per lb a 3/4 of a pound inaccuracy can add up to big $$$

Visited today 4/28/21...meat- seafood market quite interesting. Purchased some homemade sausages...for family. Thought there would be produce market as its been advertised as such but there was none. Appears to be new large empty structure adjacent to meat/seafood market so not sure what happened. Ill go back.

Today I stopped going here to buy my meat and seafood, all because of wrapping. I am/was a regular customer going 2 or 3 times a month spending between $70 and $100 each time. I live alone and have ALWAYS had my purchases individually freezer wrapped so I can defrost one portion at a time. ALWAYS.Today I was told I cannot have my purchase wrapped that way. I was further told that they NEVER wrap for individual servings. The clerk pointed to a sign to reinforce his point. I didnt wish to argue but I pointed out that just two weeks prior I made a purchase that was individually wrapped, as ALL of my prior purchases have been. Then an in charge person came out to back up the clerk. She basically had a my way or the highway attitude with me. I could take it or leave it. So I chose the highway and left it. They were not busy, there was only one other customer in the store so it was not a time issue. I went a mile away to Publix and they were very happy to wrap my purchase the way I want it. It also cost me about $50 less too!It is a shame because I always try to support local businesses. I would rather the money stay locally than go to Wall street. This store has been at this location for decades and they have the best and freshest products. Their prices are a little high but I dont mind paying for quality. However gaslighting regular customers and stand offish service is not a good business model. Today they let a customer leave with about $80 because it was more important that they were right.

I have heard of Delaware chicken farm for years, In fact my mother bought her fresh turkeys here since they were the only one that carried them years ago. I happen to be Hollywood since I live in Delray Beach and decided to stop by to buy fish.Amazing selection of fish, meats and poultry but very expensive.

I visited about few weeks ago, I love coming to this place because of the quality of the meat and the service. Will sadly to say I feel the service has change, maybe because of the pandemic, the man who was helping me was rude, impatient and lazy. I ask if he could cut some chicken quarters (not in pieces, but by joint so I can have the thigh and leg separated), he said they cant and that it was easy to do at home and kept on going on(I let it go, even though I was very irritated with his lack of professionalism) than I got whole chicken I ask him to cut it up, he complained and whined the whole time,like SERIOUSLY if your not happy to work than dont come to work with that horrible attitude and laziness! The whole experience just turned me off from coming back again. If its like that I rather go to wholes food which I did!

First time there and I loved it. I didnt catch the womans name that helped me, but she was great, made me feel like Ive been there many times. I was gonna make conch salald and helped me with what I needed.

The sushi grade tuna was great and affordable at $18 per pound. Other places charge 25 and up. The people who work there are very knowledgeable way better from every grocery store.I know its not related but there is a small fruits and vegetables store next to it which I always drop by after Im buying my fish to complete the meal.

As always plenty of fresh seafood and all kind of meats, lots of people today rushing to get the last of stone crab which they have a lot. I came to buy Salmon and Mahi and while it was really busy the service was pretty fast.

It was my first time visiting in a looooong time, yet I was greeted and treated like a friend, got a stewing hen and some royal shrimps at the fish/butcher shop. Jumped to the produce side to find fresh and properly priced fruits and veggies.

Simplicity wrapped in gold - Delaware is fantastic! Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy - thankfully we beat the crowd because there was a line outside by the time we were leaving. They are doing their best to abide by social distancing measures so they space the store out with stickers and they also sanitize upon entering, and masks are required. The ticket system keeps things flowing, and your attendee helps with grabbing everything you need - which is going to be difficult since they have a wide variety of seafood and cuts of different meats. The conch was fresh and they even tenderized it for us, and the ipswich clams were a great deal. Parking available in the front and rear, which is convenient and service was courteous and personable.

Despite the fact that they offer “curbside”, once again I was told that that they are not taking anymore orders and I’m welcome to come in. Obviously if I am utilizing curbside, it’s because I have a pre-existing condition which makes me not want to go inside. It’s very inconsiderate.

I can buy exactly the same products, 3 times chipper at any other store .Chicken doesnt look organic,Huge leg quarters cannot be organic.The exactly same chicken leg quarters I can buy at Bravo Supermarket for 48 cents a pound !!!!Same goes for the fish and seafood, steaks and ground meet.Also, Store smells just awful... While waiting, I saw workers handle meats with bare hands !!!It was my first and last time visiting this place . Just NOT WORTH IT .

First time to shop at Delaware chicken farm and seafood store. Every thing I purchased look and smell fresh so far. My next rating will be about tastes.

The place has turned into a discombobulated chaotic mess. Standing in line for 25 min in the hot sun on the exterior. Inside the customers are packed in like sardines. It is not safe with the handling of raw poultry, meats, and seafood. They refuse to wrap the poultry with proper freezing material. The fish does not look fresh. The prices have zoomed up. The produce market is expensive and overrated for the quality. The inside help is pathetically slow with employees on top of one another and waits to get served again when called inside. The entire ordeal was a nightmare and not worth the wait anymore and it is nothing more then a major inconvenience at this time. It should be avoided.

I recently purchased some hot turkey sausage for a recipe I make. I was so disappointed that it contained bones! Ruined my dish! Will not buy again. Buyer beware!!!!!!!

Easy to find. Easy parking. Smelled like every meat mkt my mom dragged us into as kids. Since giving up meat, we had a lil moment entering store. Passing by the eggs, seemed very pricey. Passing by beef and chicken looks like quite the assortment. Stopped at conch, mussels, clams and thats what we came by to see. If you compare to anywhere or anyone else, come with an expectation to spend $$$. Were primarily Fish eaters and saw a commercial this morning so we searched, mapped and made our way over today. They had both farm raised and wild caught items. They cleaned as we requested. We purchased wild caught 5 lbs Yellowtail Snapper, 3lbs wild Salmon, 1lb royal red cleaned shrimp, 2 Maine Lobster tails, made donation for breast cancer pens and lots of fruit and veggies from next door. Omggg the rosemary, thyme, escallion were soooo fragrant! Nice! We usually go to Yellow Green and a private farmer in CooperCity or KeysBees but today we were pleased trying somewhere new. I thought it had a decent selection but need wayyyy more wild caught fish options for our familys needs. Im making the Yellowtail steamed from here, stuffed with okra and callaloo tonight. Ill let you know if the fish taste as fresh as what we get from a Yardie and Fisherman Johnnies.

We went here to get some smoked turkey for thanksgiving and not disappointed. They were well prepared for the rush and that turkey was well worth waiting for. Never had it before but making sure were back in the next few days to get some more for Christmas.

This is one of the best places to buy your fish, beef and poultry. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Everything is is fresh. There is plenty of sausages and meat is ground to order. They have a variety of homemade sauces. Fish is very fresh..... I will be going back for duck and for the holidays get a decent goose for Christmas dinner....love it !!!!!

December 31st, the line started outside of the store, police was directing traffic on the parking lot, so you can imagine the madhouse it was. They had a person outside giving out numbers. Guy at the door was letting certain number of people inside the store. The whole thing was well organized. I was outside for maybe 5 min, about the same in the store. Very fast service. Good variety of meets, they didnt run out of anything. Very satisfied. Will come again.

I really love how fresh this fish is. Greatfish spreads. I always order my Thanksgiving turkey from here, as well as the turkey necks and other parts for my homemade stock. Their service is very fast! Lucky us, its stone crab season as well.

I have been going to DFarm for 50 years. I have never been disappointedThe quality of their products is without exception. Every employee is very upbeat, and kind. Fresh, fresh everything that you buy. I love their huge jumbo size eggs. Cornish hens are especially good; (my favorite). Try Delaware Farms. Reasonable prices.

Great place for fresh eggs, variety of meat and seafood. Reminds me of old mid-west butcher shops (+the seafood). Staff is great, very helpful. Gets crazy in the weekends, so definitely go during the week if you can. Prices are a bit more expensive than local grocery stores but the quality is noticably better so well worth it!

It goes without saying that their seafood is always fresh and priced well. But one thing I have noticed since coming here regularly is the people. They seem genuinely happy to be there and eager to please . They have a culture of that, and I love seeing the same faces when I return- not new ones each time! They know what you hey are doing and are friendly/knowledgeable!my only place for fresh seafood.

The eggs are better than even the best from the store. The chicken is free range no hormone and veg feed. You can get 5 lbs leg and thigh for 99 cents a lb.. and good sausage. Also grass fed beef.
