If I could give Jim 10 stars, I would! He very inexpensively helped me fix an issue with my new computer. His professionalism and helpfulness are outstanding. If/when I have an issue in the future I will go to him over anyone else.

I manage my husbands hardwood floor refinishing company, OBrien Flooring. My laptop screen broke, & unfortunately, the person whom I had been both purchasing all of our laptops from & having them serviced/repaired by, had since moved away a few months ago, so I was extremely anxious about who to hire to fix the broken laptop screen. My past experiences in attempting to find a computer repair/service always had the same/similar outcomes, either they were completely unreliable, always too busy/unavailable, or took advantage of the fact that when my laptop breaks, I am now unable to conduct my business, & therefore wind up overcharging me, since I was at their mercy. I had been so grateful when I by chance purchased a laptop from someone on Craigslist, who in turn, came to be my go to computer repair person., who was always consistent, reliable, and very reasonably priced, with the only 2 downfalls being he was about 45min away from my business in CT, since he was retired and really only doing repairs for friends & family, he always had to order any parts needed for repairs, so generally the turn around time was around 3-7 days depending on what was broken. THANK HEAVEN FOR RELIABLE COMPUTER!!! I went in around 3pm, Dan had since left to run errands, but I was able to speak to someone there, who suggested I call his cell # listed on Reliable Computers business card. Spoke with Dan, I explained that I was in desperate need for a repair on the fly, he asked a few questions, I told him my laptop screen size was 15 inch. He said he would return to the store (he wasnt actually planning to return) around 4pm, would check out my laptop, & would reach out to me to go over the details, and that he wasnt positive, but was pretty sure he had another 15 inch laptop that he could take the screen from and install onto mine, and that it wouldnt take him very long if that was indeed all it needed. He called me at around 4:15pm, to let me know I did NOT have a 15 inch screen, my screen was 17 inch, but not to worry, that he happen to have one. He was very thorough & detailed ensuring that I was aware that the screen being installed would be used, not brand new, I said that made no difference to me, and that the original price quoted, had increased by $30.00, to me this was music to my ears! He said hed be done in 15-20min. I was there around 4:45pm, everything was repaired & in working order!! I was and still am so very grateful! Thank you so very much Dan/Reliable Computer! I now can say I once again have am honest & reliable computer repair man!

Repeat customer many times. Great staff, down to earth and not afraid to answer the many questions most non-geeks have about how their computer works. We had a high end computer built there for a fraction of the cost of the big box stores or web dealers. Routine repairs, upgrades many times done the same day. Reasonable prices.

Walked in today with my PC. It was dead. I expected it would take 3-5 days for me to get it back, I expected it to cost >$100. Instead, the owners says hello, asks a few expert questions, predicts the problem is the power supply and uses a testing machine... sadly the testing machine says it is NOT the power supply. But he says What you described sounds like a power supply failure. So... what the hell, lets just plug a new one in and see, it will only take five minutes. The testing device may be wrong. The new power supply worked like a charm. Within 30 minutes, and for only $60, my machine was fixed.THANK YOU GENTS!

Ask for Dan or Jim if they quote you a price trust and believe its lower then your other options also dont rush these guys if your in a hurry i would think a rush jobs not as good as a give me a call when your all set job they know there stuff big time thank you guys
