I cant say enough good about this bike shop. The owner was incredible with my 10 year old son. He was so patient and answered all of our questions with knowledge and honesty. He even took the time to allow my son to try out 3 different bikes in the back parking lot to help him make up his mind. Five stars all around. I have one happy boy with a beautiful new bike. Great place helpful people got what I wanted

They do replica of keys. Its the cheapest place I found by far that does it (Its like $1.50 per key, if I remember correctly). They do accept android pay. They do accept credit and debit cards but it has to be a $10 minimum.

I got back into biking a few months back and this shop has been absolutely amazing to work with when it comes to my older bike. They are prompt, honest and the pricing is extremely fair. Turnaround time is more than reasonable. I cannot recommend Highland enough! Great job!

Had a set of forks installed on my sons bike. They did the job perfectly. Then I asked them 2 days later to reverse everything cause my son didnt like it lol. I brought in a strange ebike that had odd wheels and a strange hub.... this is not something anyone in Western mass has ever seen I promise. They managed to take care of business perfectly in short order!

Highland Bike Shop went above and beyond to take care of me and my bike. First time to the shop and they took the time to look at my bike help me diagnose what the issue was and gave me a quote. They didnt try to scam me or up-sale. The mechanics are also some of the nicest people Ive ever met. Now my bike is running better than ever and it was worth every penny.

The hardware store is great....The bike shop workers on the other hand will say they can fix a tire then it will take two weeks for the owner to call you and tell you they can’t replace a back tire. They will try and up sell you additional repairs that you may not want in the first place. Unusual, lousy, and may be prejudice to race. Very poor and discriminating business of a bike shop. Do not go here if you need a simple tube and tire replaced.

Purchased a gift certificate for the purchase of a bike for my wife for Christmas. From the initial phone call all the way through the purchase of the bike and accessories I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.The day we went in the sales person (Will) took the time to listen to what my wife wanted and explain all of the different options and features of various bikes. After narrowing her selection down they adjusted a bike for her and allowed her to take it out into the parking lot and test drive it to make sure it fit her and met her expectations.Will also told told us that we were under no pressure to make a purchase that day and if we wanted to take our time and checkout other shops and bikes.My wife was also assisted in making the selection of the different additions she wanted, ie lights, carrier rack, fender, helmet, etc. It was late afternoon and we were assured that the bike would be ready for pick up the next day. As promised it was, and to my wifes pleasure, it was ready early morning.My wife and I both believe in supporting local businesses and the excellent service we received from Highland Hardware & Bike Shop only re-enforces that. Without hesitation I would recommend Highland Hardware & Bike Shop if you are in the market for a bicycle.

I went to Highland Hardware & Bike Shop today with a flat tire from my Garden Way Cart. The very pleasant gentleman in the bike shop looked at it and said he would fix it while I waited. He even removed rust from the metal on the inside of the wheel. I had expected to have to leave it to have it repaired. I was thrilled that he did it immediately because I wanted to finish stacking wood this weekend and I need my cart to do the job. Everyone that I dealt with was very courteous and helpful. I love a store like Highland Hardware & Bike Shop because they have the old fashioned type of service that is hard to find anywhere today!

Highland Variety, as they used to call it, has been there a long time. Harry Kraven the longtime proprietor may be like Mr. Ollivander (Harry Potter)-- if he didnt remember every wand he ever sold he certainly knew his customers. One day in-- lets say 1963--I went in to the store to buy a BB gun, which my parents wouldnt get for me for fear of injury. Harry told me he couldnt sell it to me without a parent being there. Not only that but he called up my parents later that day to tell them I was in there trying to buy a BB gun! Now thats something WalMart wont do for you!

Harry Craven (the owner) is extremely helpful and, most of the time, accessible (unless something has upset him before your visit, where his information will still be accurate, but sparse). When you need something which you think may no longer be available, travel here and show your original to Harry and if he has one, will likely provide it to you at an acceptable rate. This is a Tru Value hardware store, so the selection can be limited due to that affiliation. The people in the bike shop are also very helpful. A quality place to shop.

Just what I needed !

Bought a Giant Talon from them and it got stolen because they sold me a thin lock which was over $40 so I thought it was strong metal.... apparently not if someone cut it so easily! I traded in my Marin bike I bought from them for my talon and they gave me no trade in value or commission when they sold it, jerks, dont bother with them

Was on the phone with a man in the bike shop who changed his prices regarding replacement tubes. He hung up on me accidently when placing me on hold and when I called him back and asked him about the change in prices he said he was super busy and had to go AND HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN!Never doing business there again.
