Had low tire pressure on a rear tire. Called first and they said come by. I wanted to pay them to put it up on a jack and see if it has a nail, fill with air before I drove down to key largo. The salesman found every reason not to help.I recommend go to a local tire shop. When you need service they will be there for you.

I came in for an alignment and left with a Christmas tree in my dashboard. I dont know what they did to my abs sensors but they are not functioning and the light is now on, because of the abs not working I have another light on and um guessing now I need to change my sensors. It would be nice if they just did what you go in there for instead of checking everything under the hood.

They dont provide good services, spoke to a Spanish manager who doesnt work on VWs. Plus he had a bad attitude with my late wife present. I purchased Firestones Lifetime Warranty Alignment and told the manager, and yet he still behaved as though working on my car was a problem. I will not be going to this location at ALL. And, I will contact his Corporate management about his negative attitude.

We have made two appointments so far for an oil change. Both times we have showed up at the time they scheduled us for and were told to come back in two hours. What’s the point of making an appointment if we’re just going to be told to come back in two hours?? I understand being overbooked and understaffed, but come on. Don’t make appointments for people if you can’t fulfill your obligations.

I paid for a Vehicle Inspection and a Wheel Alignment. All that was done was the Wheel Alignment. Per the receipt they rotated the tires but upon further inspection this was not done. I have 2 silver rims on the passenger side and 2 black rims on the driver side, 1 missing a hub cap. All tires were in the same position. The vehicle is also missing a radiator hose, and needing an oil change, however these were not listed as a repair needed. The only repair that was listed was a complete brake job. I find that hard to believe being as its a 2004 F-150 with 240,000 miles on it. When I got home I called Firestone back and a man named Christian picked up the phone and before I could finish my sentence he hung up the phone, I could hear the phone slamming back down on the receiver (he also did this twice while I was in the store paying I just assumed someone answered the phone before he did) when I called back Christian picked up again and I told him that he hung up the phone on me and asked him not to do that again. Christian responded with Im sorry about that. I told Christian that the services were not done that I had paid for. Christian offered for me to return to the store for a refund. I told him that I would return tomorrow and would like to speak to a manager. He then stated that he was a manager. Then stated that the store manager will be in at 7 am. I told him that I will speak with the store manager in the morning over what had occured.

NEVER GOING BACK BECAUSE WORKERS DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME & MONEY, I needed to get my truck checked from suspension to see what needed to be fixed & i told the spanish guy behind desk that i was going to get fixed whatever I needed to, all they had to do was a driving test to let me know & my truck sat there for 5 hours until i asked lady behind the desk for my keys & all they said was - sorry they didnt tell you the guy responsible for checking is real busy? She still dared to ask if I wanted to bring my truck another day, only reason for 1 star is because 0 stars does not exist

Best service center in Homestead. Although the Homestead/ Florida City area has a million tire and service centers, Firestone in my opinion is the best. Other centers in the area may do the same type of work but have real poor customer service. At Firestone they take the time and listen to your needs, give you a great estimate and dont try to upsell you on things you dont need. I appreciate the straight forward approach. They tell you the price, accept Firestone coupons and tell you how long you have to wait. Their waiting room is set up for social distancing and is very clean. Id recommend coming here 1st and save yourself the headache from shopping around.

Service was decently quick and employees were friendly, only down side is the waiting had no vending machine for a drink. I purchased a set of General GMax RS tires from TireRack and had them delivered to Firestone for install, price was $90 for mount and balance which isnt too bad. Overall 5 stars from me and a thumbs up 👍🏼

I was participating in an event at Homestead Miami Speedway in my street car. I ran over something which damaged the sidewall of my driver side front tire, leaving me with an unrepairable flat, 2 hours from home, and no spare on board (newer car things - only comes with an OEM flat repair kit). This shop recommended me a local flatbed dude who treated my car as well as I do. got me in and had me on my way with the correct size tire within 45 minutes - and I called them 90 minutes before closing. Extremely fair price also, for a 19 all season. They were very helpful to a stranger in need!

Great place to come if you’re looking to get ripped off! Tried to charge me over $1,000 for standard break service. When I declined the service after receiving the quote, the manager still tried to charge me for an inspection that I never asked for.Go to Princeton Auto down the road instead; trustworthy guys and great service!

I went in today June 29, 2021 to get my oil change and a filter next thing you know this guy named Lenroy called me to inform me that there has been a finding in my vehicle and I was like can you tell me whats going on he would have to tell me when I come in and I was like how much is the charges he will discuss that when I get there. So when I get over there I went from oil change and filter to $2,526.79 that I would need to pay for battery change two Tire changement also something thats pointing in the tires which is $476 each totally rip off because my vehicle doesnt need any of those and $376 for each tires. I dont recommend anyone going there unless your a women that have a husband youre going in there with because they will rip you off!!!! Huge Scammers!!!!!!!!! All sorts of charges outrageous charges please please please do not go to this business there are totally ripping off people Big Time scammers!!!!

Brought my diesel truck in for an oil change. I always bring my own oil and filter and Firestone said they cant use what I brought. They wanted to charge $140 for a basic oil change which seems steep. Its 10 qts of oil so it should cost more but that is rather steep.The person in line in front of me was taking a while because Firestone charged for several services that were not agreed to. Im not certain what all they paid for but $15 battery cleaning was one and rotating tires was another. I get they need to make money but be careful to only pay for agreed upon services.

My daughter took her brand new car there for the first oil change. These guys improperly placed the car on the lift and damaged it. When she spoke to the Manager Frank, he brushed it off and said it was nothing. These people are careless and bad for business, do yourself a favor and take your business else where.

Absolutely terrible repairshop to go to, unless you like to wait 4 hours for routine service. On top of this, after getting an inspection and fixing the issues (far far away from firestone) many issues still persisted, indicating that firestone’s inspection is clearly lackluster and lacking thoroughness. They also declined to answer all 4 of my calls when I was calling them back, in addition to them recommending routine brake service for thousands of dollars. Awful place to go to, I would not touch it with a 100 foot pole if possible. Go anywhere else, or do it yourself.

Best service ever, My daughter car broke down, and towing company towed it to Firestone. After quick inspection, unfortunately it appeared to be engine issue which could not be fixed there. But employee was so nice and try to help my daughter with figure out what do and what needed to be done. He offered to call different place in the morning to see if the car can be fixed. He also offered to give my daughter ride to the hotel if she needed one. Absolutely amazing service.

Problem #1: length of service, 1hr 40 min. for an oil change and tire rotation.I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation 2 days in advance. My car didnt enter a bay until 30 minutes after my appointment time. 35 minutes later I was advised to do tires and schedule a CV joint replacement. I asked for the quotes. My car left the bay 15 minutes later. 20 minutes later I was called up to check out after the service advisor made 4 phone calls. These employees must be hourly waged and not commission!I received no apology for how long I was there. Almost as if it is the norm and should be expected. I was not kept updated on what was going. I was offered no explanation.Problem #2: customer service, McDonalds customer service was given not Chick-fil-A.I was treated like another number that was annoying for not doing the suggested work. Pretty sure I paid a price for it.What ever happened to prioritizing the customer thats in front of you?

This business lies to their customers when they arrive. I went a few times to see if I can get a tire fix. Every time the employee works at the front, go out to your car and say that you need new tires. Today, I went and needed a tire to be patched, the hole was on the tread an inch away from the sidewall, and he said that the tire is no good; its too close to the sidewall and couldnt be patched or plugged. I have good knowledge of when you can repair a tire and when you cant. This tire a brought them was new, 730 miles on them. Also, they charge $29.00 for a patchwork when you can go to a private tire shop and get it done for $10.00. If you dont know about cars or tires, dont go there, they will rip you off.

Firestone holds a great value to its customer satisfaction. I have experienced myself time and time again. However now, at this particular location in Homestead,Fl, they have dropped the ball. When workers such as Nestor, Lenny, and Jerry were present, they guaranteed customer satisfaction. They held true to firestones values. The management and staff there now are way below excellence. My first bad experience with them back in November of 2020 was getting an oil change and two days later smelling burning oil. They left the dipstick completely out of my car. I had to go back and have they wipe down and clean my entire engine and they didn’t even replace the oil that was lost. Other staff like Dara would have never let that happen. Thank god he’s back!Second, it’s an hour and 15 mins to closing and I needed a simple tire patch/plug. Their reason for not doing it, is we have a lot of customers and we’re getting ready to close. Now I could understand if I walked in the door 15 mins till closing but I did not. They refused service to me because of laziness and for other reasons which I believe is prevalent due to the change in staff across the board. Everyone there is Hispanic now, and yes they do cater to their kind.Firestone needs to get back it’s great reputation at this location by making sure that there are staff members in place that will ensure that “ALL CUSTOMERS” will receive the same excellent customer experience. I’ve been going to this place for years, and up until recently with this new management and staff, I have been experiencing terrible customer service. Not a great representation of the Firestone name and what it represents.Let’s get it right!

My wife needed to bring her vehicle in for an emergency. She was able to drop her vehicle off for an alignment and new tires. It took about 3 hours which is reasonable with only one labor tech. Prices are negotiable and reasonable. Great service, great price, and clean location.

Was in the Keys over a year and half ago. Broke down on 1 on the way back home to VA on a Saturday. Had AAA and had to be towed somewhere that was open. He took us here. Let me tell you worse experience ever. 8 hours before we were on the road again for a bad coil pack. Charged me $600 and only replaced one of 8 coil packs in a Mercury grand Marquis. All eight coil packs in a kit was less then 200$ before labor. The reason I know this is as soon as I got home I had same problem again. They totally ripped me off on price. Kept me there for hours upon hours for a quick fix knowing how stressed I already was as I had a 16hour drive ahead of me. Then had the nerve to call me and say they left a computer box hooked up under the dash and wanted me to ship it back to them. By they way never found a computer box. I would never return to a Firestone again. Especially this one. Horrible experience. Over a year later and still steaming over it.

This place has the worst wait time in any place that Ive ever been to . Let this be clear, an oil change should never have a 3 hour wait time. 2 hours in to the waiting my car was still parked in the same place I left it. This place needs smarter managing. As one of the only trust-worthy places in the area I decided to wait. Next time Ill drive the extra 30 minutes to go to one closer to Miami. This specific one in Homestead is absolutely terrible. Cant wait to get home and add more reviews of this place on other sites. 3 hours... Ridiculous!

Firestone I am forced to put one star! I got an oil change in September and noticed knocking and sudden jumps coming from the motor! Called the employee returned car so they can inspect it and the employee claimed nothing was wrong with the car. After a couple of weeks car worsen. I connect my car to the computer and it stated it had a cylinder misfire which concerned me . When I returned the car in November the manager stated that the car might be overheating for low coolant and that is the reason for the misfire. Well after everything I took it to another mechanic he didn’t know why they released all the coolant then the mechanic noticed atleast 5 missing screws and air filter loosen but not tightened!I’m getting tired of even typing this and the amount of mishaps with firestone! Never again I will be using this company. The tend to leave screws missing and hoses in order to have you come back to fix the issue ! This is criminal and I will open a claim and further detail the issue with this company! This isn’t the last they heard of me! I will probable only receive a political email claiming their concerns but I will elevate this so they can stop scamming others ! I had to return to retrieve screws and out of 5 missing screws I was able to retrieve only one from the air filter ..

SCAM! Less than 2 years ago, I visit this Firestone due to AC issues. Apparently my AC Evaporator needed to be changed. First I had to deal with an incredibly rude Customer Service agent in the front. Then besides telling me that it would be ready the next day and forgetting about my vehicle service, I had to wait an additional day and take off another day of work. Then they, apparently, changed the entire unit. Now, only 1.5 years later, my evaporator is not working, again. The warranty is only for one year. Other mechanics that looked at it confirmed that it is highly unlikely that a new evaporator was actually installed. I paid $825 for this and now less than 2 years later I have to replace it. I will never go back and will advise everyone else the same and will be posting on all other sites as well to avoid anyone having to pay for this kind of fraudulent service!

Took my 2012 Scion xB in to get my radiator checked. My radiator cooling fans were no longer working. Had to order new radiator cooling fans. Could not get them on the same day. Had to come back 3 days later to get the new fans installed. Waited 4 hours that day for the job to be completed. The mechanic did do a good job in installing the new cooling fans. But with the wait and the very steep charges of $360 for the new radiator cooling fans along with the labor charges altogether totaling over $1,200 for the whole job, I was kind of taken to the cleaners a little bit. If you need something minor like an oil change or just to check a problem, the prices are not that bad. But if you need a major repair, you better be ready to shell out a lot of money. Should have gone to an independent auto repair place that doesnt charge so much overhead and are a little more reasonable with the labor costs.

I called yesterday to make an appointment for today at 7am and be the first person to be helped. The guy on the phone told me to be at the shop at 6:45am. I came to the shop this morning, the sales guy was running around trying to organize everything and didnt want to open the front door. There was a dad with 2 little kids waiting as well and he was getting frustrated because it was called outside... Its been 45 minutes and they havent even checked my car yet. Why the hell do you ask me if I have an appointment every time I come into your shop??? ...and the sales guy keeps telling every customer youll be the next one, for sure youll be the next one.This is lousy and mediocre service!

Complete waist of my time. I went in to get a driver side head light replaced on a Grand Cherokee. My scheduled appointment was 12 noon, three hours later my bulb sill hadn’t been replaced. Probably the best auto repair shop I have been to in my lifetime! We were in a bind to get our brakes done and stranded in between 7 hours of travel and they were able to squeeze us in and do a brake job in record time. They were so friendly and so nice I would go back there to get anything done on my vehicle, its a shame that they are three and a half hours away from where I live. They did not overcharge us! I would recommend this place to anybody!

Bought all four of my tires from here. Two tires wore out before the warranty and they refuse to acknowledge the fact that 1. The tires were purchased there. And 2. Be careful this place cracked my rim, and didn’t tell me anything. I took the car and the air obviously leaked when I return with the car they show me that my cars rim was cracked and marked. I trusted this company thinking it was a reliable company, I’ve learned that it isn’t ! When I got to the store I explained that I had a warranty on the battery and had the guy double check. Christopher said yes you do have a warranty and we will replace your battery. I waited over two hours for them to come back and tell me that I owe them $90 because they put a new battery in the battery is not covered under the warranty. I told him that I did not have the $90 and that he told me the warranty was still good and I wouldn’t have to pay, now all of a sudden I have to pay $90 and I told him I do not want pay for something I was told is under warranty. So he took the new battery out of my car and put my old battery back in after already changing it. I don’t appreciate being lied to by Christopher and they could have told me before I wasted 2 hours waiting for them to change a battery. Horrible service by Christopher and I am never going back to the firestone in homestead!! I felt they were trying to cheat me and a complete waste of time!

Store was recently renovated, which makes it more enjoyable. Small, but nice waiting area with a section set up for kids with all kinds of toys. This really makes a difference when you have a few hours to wait for your vehicle to be ready. The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, not normally the cleanest. As for the mechanics, they do a good job. I havent had any work that was not done properly, yet.

Not happy at all with this particular Firestone. They sold me a bad battery, then told me it was my computer. I had to take my Kia to the dealership and waste 5 hours there, for them to tell me it was a bad battery. When returning to Firestone, they told me, “oh well, it happens.” Never made good on the battery. Also tried to sell me services I didn’t need. Carlos and Frank are very unprofessional. They talk about customers behind their back when you leave, rude, and disrespectful. Downplay your situation to make you feel like you have the problem, not them. Go somewhere else.

Really disappointed at service provided at this particular location. I arrived with flat tire, and what should’ve taken 1 hour the most, turned into a 3-hour wait due to the lack of available personnel to do the job. Firestone can do way better than that. RIP off told me my car needed so much work it wasnt worth fixing then wanted 2000 dollars in labor. Got someone else to fix the motor mount car runs perfect!

Do not come here, I came with a flat tire, they tell me that it cannot be repaired, they force me to buy a new one, I do not believe them because I see that the tire has the nail on the top easy to repair and the tire in general is almost new, I go to another site and they tell me that it can be easily repaired, they charged me in this other place $ 10 dollars for it.

I owe these guys big time. The day before Hurricane Irma in September 2017 was supposed to hit I realized I had a flat tire. This after I had just replaced a flat tire 3 days earlier. Oy vey. I needed to leave town with my elderly parents ASAP and had to get that tire replaced. I live 20 minutes from this place so it wasnt the first place I called. EVERYONE was closed due to the coming storm. The small places near me, Sears, everyone was closed. This place was still open and told me on the phone that they were closing in 90 minutes and to come over. I did just that and was SO grateful to them. They were really nice. I had to wait a bit, but I didnt care. They were the only place still open so people kept stopping in. Heres the clincher though - I ended up replacing 2 tires since everyone says you shouldnt just do 1 (I had replaced the other 2 a few days earlier when I had that 1 flat) and they gave me an incredible price and even charged me less than they quoted me when I walked in. WHAT?! Theres people out there price gouging due to everyone being terrified of the storm and these people charged me LESS. They had 2 brand new tires on my car that cost less than they had first told me. I say that is some honest guys there! I made it out of town safely with the family and a little extra money in my pocket and I have the Firestone guys to thank. Thank you!

Longest wait ever.... I only went in for a nail in my tire. Got there at 1:45pm they said may be ready by 4:30. So I left and came back and they were just starting it. They were working on the wrong tire, when I told them they took another hour to get it done.... mean while the guy that should be working on my car is sitting down smoking. Finally I got out of there at 5:45pm.

Great and friendly staff. They really show that they have the best interest in the customer. Always giving the best recommendations for your car from priority to least concern. No sharks here dont have to worry about them offering you extra services that are not needed to complete the job.I had an issue with my car that turned out to be worst than expected and I had no problems in holding my car there until I was able to have a tow truck come and pick it up. Only because the service that was needed firestone does not do.The best guy to see is Raul he is the one that usually picks up the phone when i call and the person I usually deal with when I arrive. He is very informative and knows his stuff. The rest of the staff is friendly especially the dude with the cool glasses that convinced me to buy four new tires lol appreciate it.Definitely a lifetime customer!!

Went in for a FREE brake inspection and when I returned 2hrs later because I got no phone call, they tried to charge me $16. Granted its just $16 and I have no problem leaving a tip for the mechanics who took the time to inspect my car, but dont false advertise.

Beware of taking your car to Firestone at 110 NE 8th street.I brought my car in for a ROUTINE oil change on 4/3/19. In addition to the oil change, they tried to sell me tires for 1200+ (didn’t buy), said I need a new oil filter (which I changed), and recommended a car care package, which included a tire rotation (which I opted to do, but they didn’t rotate my tires claiming they were all worn equally).The next time I drove my car, to work, it began to overheat, they didn’t replace the coolant cap properly, I took pictures and videos of what was happening and since they were already closed I could do anything but replace the coolant, fix the cap, and head there in the morning. Driving there in the morning, my car continued to overheat, the check engine light came on, and when I arrived there, the car was smoking.There, I showed Robert the videos and pictures. He stated they did nothing wrong but will evaluate the car. They stated I need a heater hose assembly for $906 and a coolant flush for $88. I called corporate and filed a complaint. Angela in corporate was helpful and shocked about what I was going through from the store. She said the store can rent me a vehicle and she will contact the regional manager.I received a call from the store manager Alvaro, who again stated they are not at fault and they will not rent me a vehicle! I wanted to speak to the regional manager. I received a call from a rude Ernel Recino who stated “since I’m claiming they broke my vehicle he will file a claim.” He informed me about the process, asked me if I understood, and hung up.On 4/10 I received an email from a claims specialist Chet inquiring about the sequence of events surrounding my situation with Firestone. I replied to him that same day. And then there was silence. I sent 6 emails, made 11 phone calls to the store, customer service, claims specialist, claims supervisor David Verde, and filed 1 complaint with the better business bureau before anyone would get back to me. On 4/29/19, I was contacted by David Verde, claims supervisor, who authorized me a rental vehicle, agreed to pay for my previous rental, and assigned a new claims specialist, John Tumey, to my case. I touched base with John v/ email to request to be updated about the status of the claim. David said I should be present during the inspection. Additionally, my car has been at Firestone since 4/5/19.I heard nothing all week and on 5/6/19 I emailed John and David asking for an update. I received an email hours later, at 230pm, by John stating the inspector went to evaluate my vehicle that morning. No one notified me about this. I was not present during this inspection. No one even bothered to email me back about anything. On 5/7/19 I called the store and no one was available to speak with me, Robert gone for the day, new manager out of the office. On 5/8/19, I spoke with the new manager, Frank, who said “it looks like its not our fault, but well have to wait for the final report.” On 5/13/19 I emailed John and David requesting an update, they extended the rental vehicle (still no word on the reimbursement on my first rental) and stated they are waiting for the inspection report. On 5/15/19 I received an email from John the inspection found Firestone not at fault and they are ending my rental vehicle. I appealed the decision that same day and was informed Firestone will reply in 7 days to my appeal. On 5/24/19 I heard NOTHING so I emailed John Tumey and his response was he will “try to help me after the weekend.” On 5/28/19 I emailed, called, nothing. I finally called corporate to see what was going to happen and we left voicemails with the customer service representative. David Verde emailed me back around 630pm standing firm on the denial decision. NO RESPONSE to if the inspector had any access to my pictures or videos, NO RESPONSE to the request for reimbursement on my rental vehicle he stated he would pay for. Nothing!

Came in on a Monday to look at tires and received 3 quotes. Told thrm i woas coming in Wednesday ti get one of the quotes installed. Called on Tuesday to confirm and told them what tires i wanted and was set for 7:30 Wednesday morning. They were installed and i headed home only to find out they installed the wrong tires. I returned and thry told me that the tires i wanted were not in stock that i would have to wait till Thursday. Again told me 1:00 and i drop the car off. I come by at almost 5pm and they havent touched the car. Good way to loose a customer.

Awesome experience, honesty goes a long way any other place would have changed my brakes without having to and charged me unnecessary money for something that didn’t need fixing but these gentleman were honest enough to tell me I still had about another 30000 miles left on my brakes, great job, customer for life
