The worst! They never answer the phone. Been calling for three days 7-10 minutes on hold. Left three voicemails. Just now a lady answered i told her to please not place me on hold and she still did and I waited for 10 minutes and got transferred to a voicemail. They are the worst ! Messy office staff. The only reason I go there is because it’s my doctor who I like not the messy,

This place is a rip off!!! I went in today to just speak with Doctor Funari about a prescription he prescribed me. I told the assistant I did not want an eye exam. I was in the doctors office for about 10 min he did not exam my eyes at all which was ok I just wanted help with my dry eye and they charged me $50 for NOTHING!!! If they would have told me it was gonna be $50 I would have not spoken to the Dr at all. I have been paying my vision insurance for 2 years and have not been to the eye dr and as soon as I go to just ask a question they charge me. Not to mention the manager lady was so RUDE!! No kind words f service just RUDE!! They are there to just take your money! I will never go there again. Wish I could give a half star! This place and ppl have no respect!! Oh not to mention Dr Funari was booked up even tho my appointment was with him they had the other doctor talk to me.

Haven’t made it in yet but have called for a three days attempting to make an appointment and no one answers or they put you ok hold. The last time I called I was out on hold for 20 minutes and just gave up.

I have been waiting 3mo for my husbands glasses that are already paid for, I call today the front desk person over optical tells me she forgot to place the order are you kidding me she say no i really forgot they are so unproffessional at this office worst optical expierence ive had im contacting joint commission other person i can make a formal complaint maybe medical board really need to look at this facility.

It’s been 9 years and counting my children and I have been with them. I’m never changing that you always feel welcome. Staff is knowledgeable about the products they provide. The care the give you in the office and on the phone is unmatched. I’ve been to other eye specialist wasn’t happy at all. All in all they provide great customer service. The restrooms are always clean listen that’s so important when you’ve got a high volume of patients you care for.

WORST experience here with wait times and lack of courteous staff. MINIMUM wait time (even if you show up early or on time) is 30 min for whatever reason. FIVE staff aligned at front desk. No ONE with any welcome greetings. You have to stand there and wait to be acknowledged or just speak out. Got fed up with waiting 53 minutes and still no service. So I WALKED OUT! Have a great day ladies! Patients DO NOT deserve this kind of service. Bye bye!

I used this doctor office for my kids for two years, and always was fine, but today I call to make an appointment and after several calls that were ended with no answer, I talk to somebody, this lady tell me to wait, 30 minutos later, I am still on hold, can you believe it. I really like the doctors but the staff needs improvement.

Tried calling numerous times throughout the day. Staff either puts you on hold forever and then it hangs up on you or they don’t answer at all. Decided I’ll take my business elsewhere if I can’t even be treated with respect on the phone.

Expert Eye Care. Very busy place but exceptional services. Not just glasses but general eye care. Ive been going there for years. I tried other places that seemed less busy or more attentive initially but in the end proved not to have the degree of excellence Dr. Funari himself brings to the equation.

Friendly drs and good eye care service. Very convenient with in house lab.I found there frames to be a bit on the expensive side. But good size selection in frames. Good service over all, the best you will find in there location.

The doctor and well-oiled staff are competent, efficient, and friendly. They fully explained and answered all of my questions. As I needed a referral, the associate offered to call and make the appointment for me. The optician took his time with me as I was selecting my frames and gave me options for maximizing my insurance benefits.

Unfortunately I cannot rate 5 stars. I will start by saying Dr. Furnari is an excellent doctor. However, his medical staff is the complete opposite. I came in to pick up my Tiffany & Co. glasses on Wednesday and was greeted by no one (as usual, and does not really bother me). Ed (sales floor supervisor) makes up for what the medical staff lacks. He is absolutely wonderful. Moving forward, I leave after receiving my glasses only to find that my car is not where I parked. I walk back inside the office to inform the staff of what was going on, only to have the Office Manager (who has ALWAYS had a nasty attitude since I started seeing Dr. Furnari a few years back) motion her hands up in the air as if saying OH WELL or TOO BAD or SHOO AWAY. That, of course, upset me and I advised the Office Manager that this situation is completely unacceptable and inappropriate. I requested to speak with Dr. Furnari. Had I not waited in the hallway for Dr. Furnari to come out of the exam room, I would have waited hours, or not spoken to him AT ALL. Dr. Furnari agreed to reimburse the amount of the towing (THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. FURNARI). As I was about to leave to pick up my vehicle, Nora decided to throw in her 2 cents on the situation stating Wow, did you really interrupt the doctor while he was with a patient? Wow, that takes BIG BALLS. Nora was completely and absolutely OUT OF LINE. It would be wise to keep an opinion like that to one self, especially when speaking to a patient (you know, the people that put money into the business where YOU WORK). However, I can understand how Nora could get away with making a statement like that to a patient, being that she works under that Office Manager(dont know her name).

Terrible experience, everyone in a bad mood and in a hurry. It works like a production line in a slaughterhouse. They only care about the money of the people, they charge the glasses three times more than other opticians.I asked the doctor Furnary to disinfect the equipment before putting my face on it and he did not like that and ended up giving me a paper towel to put under my face. Amazing.On the printed prescription to take with me the employee manually copied the data incomplete.There are many good opticians in the area stay away from this.

The most amazing doctor. My grandaughter burned her eye and came in crying he immediately reacted and took care of her. Less than one week later thanks to his instructions her eye recovered 100%. From his front staff everyone was accommodating and super polite.

Had to come here for an eye exam. Terrible facility with long wait times. The optometrist was unhygenic and didnt even wash his hands or put on gloves before trying to touch my face. All their equipment was very intrusive. Dont go here.

The doctor was not friendly at all. Staff was great but it was packed to the walls and they used the dilation spray on my 5 year old that Ive read was suppose to be drops and used sparingly yet they literally soaked her face in it. They sprayed her eyes several times and got it in her mouth. Only been a few hours but she still cant see well. Ill wait the 24 hours but I pray nothing bad happens because of this.

First time going there was great, the Dr was very polite and no problem at all with the staff and not a long wait at all. The only thing was that I bought a pair of Versace frame and when they went to make the lense for them the special lens was scratch. Just make sure you look and try them right there even if they have the guarantee. That problem was solved fast so I have nothing negative to say. Thanks!!

I’ve been a patient here for 18 years and this year I’ve encountered issue with 1.insurance was not verified before the appt and I had to pay out of pocket for an emergency visit 2.I had to come back to see the doctor for regular eye exam because it could not be done on the day of the visit 3.My glasses broke and Dr.Furnari did not want to give me contact trials until my glasses came in/see the doctor for contact lenses so I had to wear old glasses from year 2009. 4.ordered my glasses with everything included and even paid of pocket for transition; glasses came back without my anti glare and now they are ordering new lenses with everything I asked for in the first place and charged me extra for the anti glare because the insurance does not cover but somehow they covered thinning of the lenses; rep stated they lost money on the thinning of the glasses because it should of never been sent out to the insurance. Today I had an appt for contact lenses at 8am and I explained my card is in fraud and I won’t be able to pay right that instant because the bank opens at 9 am and my card was found fraud last night; I also have to go get a temp card they stated it my visit needs to be paid time of the visit which I understand but all the money I am putting in they should at least consider that I will be back to pay especially if I have to come back to pick up my glasses and knowing that I have no issues paying any fees my insurance don’t cover for the past 18 years... I explained it to the manager and she did not care so obviously they don’t care about their patients it’s just money ... on top of that Dr.Furnari always an attitude and always seems like he is bored and also thinks it’s unfair if you ask for a prescribtion to buy glasses/contacts somewhere else. He is unfair because at least us as patients are still coming and paying fees if needed. Honestly I tried continuing being a patient there but it’s too much for all the money I’ve been putting into seeing this doctor. I got my records and moved on to another doctor to continue my services. They need a new manager that understand and care about the patient so that the doctor don’t loose potential money and patient. Good luck if you are going to see him!

Dr. Funari and the staff are great. HOWEVER the parking is terrible and too too many calls, e mails, and text messages confirming an appointment. I answered a text and e mail to confirm and then received a telephone call reminder. Enough already!!!!!!

Dr Furnari should be retired. Stubborn and moody. They have to re-do glasses 3 times until find out prescription was wrong. They did the same to my wife. A No-no place. Stay away. Also overpriced. Example contact lenses. Double than BJ. Consultation they charge 3 times the cash value to insurance companies.

WORST SERVICE EVER. horrible place. filthy. the dr didnt smile at all ..horrible service. waited for over 2 hours they pack the place like sardines. I have waited for 3 months for glasses and paid a shipping fee and they never called to let me know the glasses were here. I paid for shipping. yet they want to charge me again. I would not take anyone to this place. The contacts were ill fitted and pop out and cause horrible redness to the eye. I HAVE contacted credit card for a refund.

Beware of where you park your car. Apparently there is a feud between the two optical places and they are towing all cars that park in any spaces that say Medical Arts. The glasses I just purchased ended up being even more expensive now. I am very disappointed that the patients are the ones having to suffer as a result of the unprofessional behavior of both places.

Ive been going here since elementary school im now 25. Never have I seen or heard of an office call to confirm your appointment on a SATURDAY morning at 8:00 am. Especially, being 4 days away#wakeupcall ...Besides that...theyre ok.

Terrible service! Having a smile on your face is not good customer service. I waited months for my order to come in and when it did it was wrong. They never called me to let me know my order came in. I called several times to inquire the status. On multiple occasions was just left on hold. When I finally went In I find that they lost my phone number and my order was wrong. I had to wait again for my order. They are overpriced, unprofessional and disorganized.

Bad experience.Not once,but twice.I was referred to this place by my doctor.The first time there.You`re handed a information form to fill out and then they sit you down.It`s hot ass hell in there and they had me waiting almost an hour just to tell me that they don`t take my insurance.Waste of time.6 months later.I was reffered once more by my doctor stating that this was the closes place that excepts my insurance.Stood at the counter for about ten minutes before someone acknowlegded me.Checked in and was told to have a seat.A hour 1/2 later sitting in this hot ass place.A very rude assistant called my name and embarrassed me stating that they except my insurance,but the age of 40 was over aged and That I will have to pay $50 if I want a eye exam.Now 2 months later they`re sending me a reminder card saying that I`m over due for a eye exam.
