This is the worst door company that I have ever used. They have attempted to fix the door that they installed several times and it keeps malfunctioning. They tell me that they are going to come and then they dont show up. They also say their going to call me back and no one ever calls back. Worst customer service I have experienced! Seriously do yourself a favor and dont use them. If you do, remember that I told you so!
Extremely happy! Second time I’ve used Tombs. Called on Thursday afternoon, and they came on Friday at noon. Competent workmen who did an excellent job !
Bought a roll up door from this company took forever for it to come in which Im okay with. Then they say the first one came in damaged, so waited for another one. Second door was installed to find multiple damage spots dents, dings, chipped paint. Was told they would take care of me give me some money back or order me another door. They havent done either and dont seem to care what so ever. Very poor customer service
I called a dozen garage door companies when my garage door inexplicably stopped working one day. Many companies told me it would be weeks before they could get to my house. R.G. Toombs asked me to send some photos, asked some quick diagnostic questions over the phone, and said someone would stop by the next morning to see if it was a quick fix. It was one of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had. Cant recommend them highly enough!
Poor customer service. I called on a Friday at 3:30pm telling them my garage door had malfunctioned, they told me someone would be out Monday morning first thing to look at it. I called Monday morning around 8:30am to get an idea when they might be in, I was notified they would be in that day. At 3:00 pm I decided to call back and see if they forgot about me, I was notified again, that they would be out that day. They never showed up on Monday. Tuesday morning I called another company and they had a service technician at my place within the hour. Tombs called me Tuesday at 4:00PM and said they would be out Wednesday morning to look at my door opener, I notified them that they would not be working on my door and explained my frustration, the woman on the line tried to explain that they were busy. Do what you say youre going to do, set the expectations properly. As a small business owner I know first hand we are all busy all the time, thats no excuse to hide behind. I wont be using Tombs Door again. Poor customer service.
I have had fantastic customer service, far better than the other door companies. as a business, if a door has a problem, it needs to be fixed now. The other company we used to use was hot and cold on service.
