When I first walked in the energy was so peaceful and the owners were very nice and helpful. I spent over 100 dollars I got a good amount of product. I called ahead to ensure they had Geodes to purchase for a science class. The phone call was kind of abrupt and she didnt want to answer my questions so I could make sure they had what I needed before I went out in a pandemic.I arrived, double masked as I am compromised. Walked in the door with all the warnings and exclusionary statements and was greeted by an unmasked woman near the counter.If I worked alone in a space like that I wouldnt want to wear a mask when alone either. Unfortunately, she didnt put one on as I entered.She noticed I was waiting and told me I could come in. I replied, Im waiting for you to put your mask on. She replied that masks are not required in this establishment. I said, Ok, cool. Thanks. and left.I wont be spending my money at a place that is actively trying to kill compromised people like me.

Beautiful shop and decent prices. However staff arent particularly friendly and definitely NOT a place for children. More set up as a museum where everything is on display which isnt a bad thing just means children can really look or touch. More of a store for an older audience and more so for those who are already collectors of rocks and minerals.

I had been looking around for the right place to source my personal crystals from and I 100% found it. Just pulling into the parking lot gave me the best vibe. Walking in, everything felt even more magical. Not only is this shop physically clean, but the atmosphere is clear and soothing. I spent a decent amount of time loading up on beautiful crystals and some jewelry (you can NOT beat the price nor the quality here!) and as I was leaving I wish I stayed longer. The owners were so nice to me and made me feel so incredibly welcome. The man working (I wish I caught his name) scared me a bit (in a good way) by suggesting a crystal that I hadn’t seen looking around but fell in love with immediately. Talk about intuition! I literally not let go of since I purchased it. It was like this piece of earth is meant to be in my possession. Apologizes for the long review; don’t spend your money anywhere else. Loved that this shop had fossils. Reasonable prices. Kind staff but if you bring kids with you- mind them well - the owners are particularly nervous that the children will touch or break something. Not a huge selection of crystals and minerals, store offers room to fit much more selection but most pieces are spaced out in/on curio cabinets and shelves. Not a stroller friendly store, I dont know if they allow them but I wouldnt try and bother to maneuver even an umbrella version in there. Overall I recommend a visit, its a nice shop.

Awesome little shop! So much to choose from and very nice and knowledgeable owners. The only thing was that the owners don’t wear masks in the shop.. made me slightly uncomfortable but who knows maybe they’ve been vaccinated. Still an awesome shop :)

Tons of crystals, rugged and polished, lab created and natural, and fossils too! They have a super large selection for such a small store but it doesnt feel claustrophobic at all. And the prices are great, anywhere from less than $1-$100s of $1000s. Great for everyone from the novice buyer like myself (we were looking for my daughter whos into crystals) all the way up to someone whos really into crystals and chakras AMD all that stuff!

I took my boyfriend here as a date and he has/needs his service dog for anxiety, right? so we walk in and not even 2 feet into the place, we’re still standing on the doormat the husband/owner comes up to us saying “no dogs allowed, you need to leave immediately” etc. we explain what the dog is used for which we shouldn’t have even had to and he continues like “no no no you need to leave like right now” he and i ended up leaving because we were no longer going to take how we were being treated. also, everything there is extremely overpriced. I loved how organized and clean the store is. Everything is clearly marked and the owners were incredibly gracious (they were actually closed and let me come in), knowledgeable and kind. Really cute place. Small but stocked with a good variety- starting at inexpensive stones, and going all the way up to large, elaborate pieces worth thousands. The owners were lovely and the gentleman offered to let my small son choose a tiny rock from a box. Overall, great service and a good place if youre looking for a gift.

What an amazing shop!!! I stopped by after googling some crystal shops near me--drove 45 minutes to check them out, and definitely worth the drive!! I will be back without hesitation. An amazing selection--all well-priced---everything from small raw and polished crystals, to large museum quality clusters and crystals. Both of the owners (husband and wife) were there and were more than willing to help answer any questions I had--they were both very knowledgeable about the crystals and their use, as well as where they are from and information about their vendor. Love this store and the owners. They are extremely helpful and courteous. They dont try to push anything on you. Just give you the information you seek, if in fact you ask for it. The store is just beautiful. I bought 7 of their bracelets on my second visit, after I had given the four I had previously purchased to my mother who adored them when I visited her. Easy location to get to and ample parking. This shop is owned by a lovely couple who are super educated and helpful in and mineral or fossil purchase. They have an amazing variety of beautiful pieces. Items range in size and prices. From small tumbled piece to large pieces you may need a helping hand to get out! I had the misfortune to enter this shop by chance for the first time today. I was driving by and saw that they sold crystals which I collect and use in energy healing. The owners were condescending. I was overcharged for the few small crystals I purchased, which I realized after leaving but had no desire to set foot in this place again so I let it go. While I shopped my husband and son waited patiently for me. But when my son who is a very well behaved boy walked in the vicinity of a large crystal on the floor, one of the owners started screaming at him going on about the high value of the piece. Which I wondered why then was it out in the open on the floor where anyone could walk near or into it? My son is very sensitive to criticism and started apologizing profusely and was on the verge of tears. Against my better judgment I completed the purchase of my crystals and left. Upon leaving I noticed multiple signs with rules about cell phones and children. For all that this place purports to be an establishment dedicated in part to crystals and their healing energy, I found in reality that the energy of this place was quite negative. I am going to have to smudge my crystals purchased here to clear the pall of the negative energy left by this place. I am going to stick to the lovely crystal shop near my home where they are always kind and welcoming.

I absolutely love this shop! I have my own small business selling my handmade jewelry and A Broader Concept is my #1 stop for my gemstone supply. They have amazing stones and crystals in there and at really GREAT prices! I have seen the reviews about the owners being rude and I HAVE to say that that IS NOT TRUE at all! The people that own this shop and are always there are extremely nice and ALWAYS pleasant when I come in! They always ask about my jewelry and show me new stuff they have that they think would be good for my jewelry! They do have rules with food, kids, and cell phones and they enforce those rules for good reason, in my opinion. And Id like to add that ALL of these rules are CLEARLY stated outside, on the door of the shop and inside the shop. My first time coming into this store today and it was an excellent experience. The owners were very friendly and helpful and answered any questions since I am new to collecting crystals. This little shop is a absolute treasure. My husband and I were on our way to a Color run with our 9 year old daughter and he surprised me with a visit there. We all went in and were immediately struck with the beautiful layout of the store, and there are pieces for all price ranges. My daughter was a bit tired from the night before and was upset that she wasnt getting as many pieces for her collection as mommy was and put on a sulk...we spoke to her about it and she was then fine. The owners were so very pleasant and helpful with our questions and even spoke to my daughter and offered her a gift. Our second trip there (I should mention we travel an hour and a half to get here) the owners actually remembered us and asked how the run went. Again they were pleasant and wonderful, and even engaged our daughter in conversation. We have been back a couple more times and each time we found beautiful pieces to add to our collection, we received information regarding our purchases, and they were very kind to our child. I could go on and on about this place. Well worth the drive, fantastic place with fantastic owners.

Dont trust the negative reviews here. We have been here twice so far and not a bad experience at all. All the negative reviews are from parents who have small bratty kids that they cant control. Id be telling those parents to get out of my store too. The people have done nothing but help out my son pick out some really cool rocks.

I was there last weekend for the time ever just looking around for some crystals.Who knew Id actually find that and much more. It was just my kind of place with everything Im into and the owner and I had great conversation which i wont explain cause I might end up writing all day. Anyways I had a good experience the customer service was very helpful in what I was looking for exactly and it made things easier with their help. They explained what they sell and even gave me a tour around the shop which was very informative. Poor poor service. Have 3 children 11, 5 and 3. The youngest loves rocks and we thought this store would be wonderful for him see, look at the rocks, maybe learn something, and pick out some rocks as a souvenir from our trip to New Hampshire. Coming to this store was a big mistake. The gentleman prowling the floor gave us a stink eye for no reason as soon as we opened the door. I soon found out it was because of the kids. My three year old was extremely excited to see all the rocks and we had the gentleman hovering behind us, telling us he has tens of thousands of dollars of rocks on the floor and to make sure we dont kick a rock and break it. Instead of my son maybe learning a bit about rocks, he was just hounded to not touch and break things. We had picked out rocks for him and my middle son, against my gut feeling of not wanting to spend money in a store with such a rude person, when I realized the lady behind the register was even worse. She looked at my children and i as though we had smeared fecal matter all over the store. Sorted through the 50 dollars of rocks we had picked out and then instead of giving me a price on the skulls they had behind the counter that my wife and I had talked about, she asked to cash me out, then hesitated and asked if we wanted anything else. I told her to cash me out and would have walked out not purchasing anything if my 3yr old son didnt love and was so excited over the rocks. If you are a adult, this store is more than likely fine. If you have a child of any age that is interested in rocks, dont go here expecting anything resembling customer service or friendliness. I would give this place no stars if I could. Such a disappointment coming here.

Wasnt the most inviting place

While there was a decent selection of items at a reasonable price, the customer service of both the man and woman, whom Im assuming are the owners, was absolutely horrific. I went to this place to pick something up for my son, as he loves rocks. He is 2.5 years old, and recognizing that this place had delicate items, I held him through the entire store until I set him down to let him pick out some rocks from the buffet of tumble rocks to put into a bag. The experience was completely enlightening to him, however, I decided the pack of rocks I picked up was enough and put the sack of individual rocks back.Upon checking out, the man gives him a horribly accusing look asking, Where are the tumbler rocks?, as if I had pocketed the rocks to steal, Im assuming because I am of a younger generation and actually allowed for my son to touch the rocks. I havent been that offended and discriminated against when buying something in a very long time. Extremely rude.The lady that had checked me out didnt say anything, though that was her problem. No smile, no Did you find everything okay?, no eye contact, nothing. Complete disregard for the customer and miserable looking.By far the rudest and horrible customer service I have experienced in a very long time.

Nice place. Some of their things can be a little pricey depending on what it is. The nice thing is that they do give you 30% off jewelery that is $25 and over. I unfortunately have read some bad reviews of people who have brought their children in there that got yelled at by the owners, but I havent witnessed this myself nor do I have little children of my own ( mine are all grown up). I trust this shop way more than some other ones Ive recently been to and I will continue to go back.

My 7 year old son is into Minecraft and asked for gems for his birthday. I shopped here for the first time and was like a kid in a candy store! They had so many affordable crystals and geodes and gems, my son is going to love his gifts! They also had higher end gems and really cool fossils so its not just for kids. I cant wait to go back for Christmas and cross a bunch of people off my gift list there. This is one hidden gem you have got to check out! :)

Absolutely never coming back. I went there once before they closed to just check it out and saw some neat stuff. I told a few friends, then came back today with one of my friends. We drove all the way out just to go to this store and I had intended to purchase a couple of things. While browsing, my friend noticed a very tall, around 10 foot geode they have in the store. Thinking it very impressive and pretty cool she took a photo of me standing next to it. Did you just take a photo? A woman from behind the counter asked. We replied yes, and a man ran over and said theres no photos in here. We apologized, my friend said she would delete the photo (and did), explaining that she just wanted to show her husband. After she deleted said photo, the man asked if it was her first time in the store. She said yes, and he demanded to know WHY WOULD YOU TAKE A PICTURE WITHOUT ASKING FIRST?. I replied because other stores let us and he said well this one doesnt and proceeded to go on and on about how rude we were for taking a photo. We promptly left within five minutes of arriving. Will never come back, these people are SO rude and you just lost two if not a BUNCH more customers because of your rudeness. Its OK, Ill get my crystals, minerals, and fossils at Gardenias.

This place is so awesome! I had a wonderful experience and got some crystals for the best prices! As long as you dont have your cell phone out (to the reviewers who said they had a bad experience) its great! Especially if you are familiar with the spiritual realm, its really cool to be in there!

I went there for the first time yesterday. While the store has a beautiful collection of crystals I did not have the most enjoyable experience. I was dressed down in sweat pants and My hair was in a messy bun and I feel because of the way I was dressed I was biased against. The male owner was hovering over me like I was going to steal something when my debit card was visible in my hand. Also, I was reminded 3 times by the owner not to touch the crystals that say “DO NOT TOUCH”. I am 22 years old, I can read and I am not a child, I do not need to be treated by one.

I do not have kids, so I can not attest to the owners attitude towards them, That being said this store is over flowing with beautiful, rare, gems, minerals, fossils and meteors. If I owned this store, I would be hesitant to let kids loose with such amazing, shiny specimens around. The couple who own the store have done an amazing job, not only with the incredible pieces, and displays, but also with the detailed, typed notecard that accompanies each piece for purchase, their hard work shows.As for the cellphones, this is just not the place for them, There are signs clearly posted asking people not to use their phones. I am in total agreement with the owners. They want people to be careful while in the store, they want people to see their incredible selection, they do not want people to enjoy the experience as they live it, not later on a screen.This seems like a strange business concept, but it makes total sense. You do not enter a museum with a phone, snapping photos, its just rude, annoying and impolite. If you cant go the duration of your visit without using a phone then you have a problem. NOT the store owners.Both husband and wife were very helpful, and they rushed to be at our service. The husband even pulled out some pieces that were not on display, when I said I could not afford a particular piece. He produced the same, if not an even nicer specimen, that was significantly less expensive. (granted a little smaller)I have made it my point to visit as many gemstones as I can in New England, and this place was one of my favorites. It has an incredible selection of really high quality pieces, for ridiculously reasonable prices. They have an array of goods too, and everything is meticulously labeled, here you get what you get, and the owners are sure to discloses anything about the product that may effect your opinion on it. (example: lab made items were labeled, cracked items were labeled ((and prices were reduced))I can not wait to go again, although I hope I win the lottery before I do so I can buy everything in the store.

I would give a zero if I could. When I went to this store I was about Eleven, or twelve years old. Oppon arrival with my grandma, the man noticed I was a child and glared at me. He was rude to me probably thinking I was about Eight, I was very small two years ago. He was very rude, telling me not to touch, but the thing is I need to feel the energies in crystals to know to buy them, or not. He was also extremely rude to my grandmother, who was slow, because of her hips. I didnt want to go there ever again, and I havent since.

A wonderful shop run by a wonderful couple! It is definitely worth a trip!
