I had stopped to look at new cars but was not planning to buy that day. Cole Nunnelley, in sales, came out and greeted me as I looked at an RDX. He was friendly, low-key (not pushy), and very informative. He showed me a number of cars and let me take one for a drive. I was given a price quote that I considered very fair, then went home to talk to my wife before making a decision. I called Cole from home and told him I was ready to purchase. He, in turn, asked for information and copies of some documents to get the paperwork process started. When I returned to the dealership a few hours later with my wife, Cole had most of the paperwork ready. Brian Richards went over the financial details and had us sign the necessary documents. This was the least stressful car purchase I have made in a long while.

Dont buy extended warranties from king acura. The towing is contracted out and if they damage your car during towing as they did with my car king acura will defer responsibility. They damaged my 2019 RLX when the towing company delivered my car to King Acuras lot. The gentleman took pictures of the damage and promised to report it. That was may 31st. To this day the issue has not been resolved. King Acura has been notified and it appears they are waiting me out. Dont buy their extended warranties!! Buyers beware!! I didnt think I needed to take pictures. I took a picture of their driver taking a picture you can see the AAA on his t shirt. This all started when I called ACURA TOWING! My Name is GREGORY GEORGE and I am a long time customer. MS Locke has notified the local dealer managers and I have been referred to and have talked to the central office with no results.
Only took someone to get repairs..nice supply of dream cars.
Great customer service when purchasing g a car.
The service department leaves a lot to be desired. Rachel is unpleasant and curt from the get go. Also, I had an issue with my time updating, I asked them to not just manually change it (I could easily do that), I was assured it was fixed appropriately. After leaving I check my settings and low and behold they just manually changed the time zone to reflect the correct time. Very dismissive when I called to bring it to Bill’s attention. Apparently they’re fine with lying to customers. After my next appointment this week, I’ll be driving much farther out of my way to use the Montgomery dealership’s service center.

Had high hopes of buying an RDX from here. Received a price for a Technology from Leonard. My finances had changed, so I asked for a price on an Advanced. I received a price over 7 thousand more, for a package Acura says cost 4,900. When I asked why, the John (works w/Roy) said we had different incentives on the 1st price. This was not true there were no incentives applied or available at the time. Do not buy from John or Leonard or from King Acura. They are not honest.
Tony my salesman was awesome! Tim in finance was awesome! Jeff the finance manager was awesome! All three of these people made the purchase of my 2021 RDX a great and easy experience. Tony was very patient showing me how to use all of the technology on the car which I greatly appreciate. I drove all the way from Florida to purchase from them and will 100% go there again for my next purchase. Easiest purchasing experience ever!!! 100% recommend.

Our salesman, Jefferson, was very attentive to the details of our requests and really did do an exceptional job of fulfilling our expectations. I would highly recommend him services. The only questionable issue I had was the last of some of the other staff members NOT wearing mask in the showroom as required for all entering the building.
Attempted to purchase an Acura from John S. Ironed out all the details, confirmed price and transportation and low and behold he sold the car out from under me. Acura is generally a great brand however clearly Reed Lyles didn’t hire ethical sales members. Would not recommend to anyone.

Literally just spent all day trying to buy a Volvo XC90 from these people. They wouldn’t take a check, would not bother to call and verify funds with my bank, and tried pushing financing after I told them I wanted to pay cash. I spent over $200 getting the car inspected, and spent my entire day trying to work out a way to give these people $$ for their car. Now it’s Memorial Day weekend, my bank is closed through Monday and I won’t have time to look around! Sales person was helpful and nice, but they’re not efficient at all and I don’t appreciate them wasting my time.Update:Totally had the best car buying experience at Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham. You were right, Michael taking my business else where was the right response. MBB had no issue with an out of state check and I didn’t feel humiliated.
BEWARE OF THE FLAT $140 DIAGNOSTIC FEE IN THE SERVICE DEPT. I took my car in for an oil change and mentioned that my tire pressure sensor was on. The service manager who helped me (Alysha) came back and said that after airing up the tires, the light remained on and informed me that to diagnose the problem, there would be a $140 fee. I declined. Later that day, I took the car in to my local tire shop for a rotate and balance. I mentioned the problem to them, they diagnosed the cause quite easily, and fixed it for free. King could have diagnosed that problem just as easily as my tire shop did, it wouldnt have taken them even close to $140 worth of labor to do that. I suspect they essentially knew what the problem was without even needing to do any in-depth diagnostic work. So if Id proceeded, I would have paid quite a bit of money to fix what was a very easily diagnose-able and fix-able problem. A one size fits all diagnostic fee like that can end in you significantly overpaying to fix very minor problems like the one w/ my tire pressure sensor.

I am generally pleased with King Acura and very pleased with our Acura but will not be buying another Acura. We travel and find that many small town shops are unable to work on Acuras either because the Acura requires special tools that they cannot afford to stock or the repair process is unique and they are not prepared to handle. I also dislike having only one dealer in Birmingham where we live, whereas Atlanta has a number of dealers for sales & purchases. We also found the Birmingham dealer has not educated the staff on handling all calls & we frequently have to call McNally Acura in Atlanta to get help with a problem. In general an excellent car & we can get routine service i Birmingham but any service problem that requires above average expertise, requires us to take the car to another larger town

Love the people at King Acura, especially Judy, because they are all so kind and helpful. I dont mind waiting in the lounge because its nice and quiet but my favorite part is talking to Judy. She remembers you and it feels like Cheers but without the alcohol. I dont take my car anywhere else.

I was very pleased with the service. They were honest in the recommendations on the options for repair. I thoI had transmission issues which can be a death sentence on an older model car. I was relieved to discover it was not the transmission, but a couple of other things nowhere near the expense of a new transmission. I will certainly recommend these guys.
The customer Service Greeter in the service department has zero customer service skills. She was rude, short with answers that had tons of attitude behind them. After calling Acura (the manufacturer of my car) I found out that the warranty information she provided was wrong. Needless to say that this dealership will not receive one penny of the thousands upon thousands of dollars I will spend on my Acura ILX over the life of the car. It’s a shame really. You’d think someone that rude would at least be correct in the information she shares with customers.
Just purchased our second MDX after owning the first for 10 years and 165,000 miles and this is our 4th Acura auto. Richard Croy was fantastic and great to work with. We are very pleased with Acura cars and will not purchase another brand. Tim Probost was also very helpful and provided outstanding service.

My husband and I both have Acuras and as our family was growing we decided it was time to upgrade to a bigger car. I had gone to other dealerships and after spending time with Mr. Richard Croy I knew that purchasing another Acura from King was what I wanted to do. Customer service was great and we got in and out in a somewhat timely manner. The sale and could ha e been a little more knowledgeable about the vehicle we were purchasing especially since I called 6 hours ahead of time to let him know we were coming and to make sure the vehicle was still there. He was nice and very easy to deal with though.
