I love this store. It smells amazing every time I walk in, and they have smiling faces, they usually buy enough to justify the trip and trade out for nice clothes to swap out my daughters closet. New inexpensive toys and anything your child may need.

This was our second time going and I absolutely love it! We got a pile of cute clothing for my daughter, for nothing comparatively. Im glad to know theres something like this near us!

My family has shopped here just a handful of times. You can fill boxes up of clothes and barely get anything in return. I just took two large toys by. One was not acceptable because I didnt have all the pieces. That toy was given to me from a friend. Another toy, that my son barely played with, I got $4.80 from it. It was a $40 toy! In other words, please shop elsewhere. I am now done with Once Upon A Child.

It was a clean store and did have a lot of new things for sale. The prices were very high. Like not sign of the times high like this was worth $5 at target and they are asking $10. Come on, thats wrong. A customer can go go target and get a 5% off that item brand new and return it. Where all sales are mostly final here. They were very picky on what they wanted to buy from the customers but I was shocked on how they said no used toys, bedding and lightly used clothing, ect. But I saw a good share of messed up clothing and shoes for sale here. Wasnt impressed on the price offered for the things we brought in, but we were there and buying a few things so we put it towards the purchase. I honestly dont see us coming back to here again. Just not worth the drive. I would rather shop at target and on ebay. There are also other Once Upon A Childs in the US that dont scalp people for a shirt I wouldnt used to clean my feet with....

Brought in barley worn smocked clothing and dress that had still had tags on them they gave me 1.60 for each outfit they didn’t have any stains or anything on them. Highly unsatisfied won’t be coming back at all.

This was my first time in the store and I brought in a bag of shoes to sell and I feel like what I was offered was not a good deal so I decided that I would rather give the shoes away to someone who needed them than take the $5 for them, then I realized I had a pair of nike shoes missing and the cashier wasn’t helpful until the owner got involved. But basically my shoes were stolen and I feel that the merchandise should not be left out in the open for people to steal.

This is my second time selling, first time they bought everything and I got a good deal, second time they did me very wrong. I had Nike shoes, boutique clothes, nice almost brand new toys, I did not know there was a limit of 3 tubs and I had 7 and I apologize for that. But they kept 132 items of mine and only offered $128, that’s less than $1 an item. That is bad business. I will not be going there again.

I have been going to Once Upon A Child for almost 3 years. (Mostly as a seller). I dont feel that they appreciate my business. They arent friendly, empathetic and seem to love the word no. At most, I have made $40 ~ from them with one buyback.They seem stingy on the returns. I dont understand why they are overly selective in what they buy back. I have had many almost new items that are in great condition and they overlook it. Very disappointed. Maybe because the competition is minimal, they feel they can treat you indifferently. I prefer to give the items away. No more.

They dont buy clothes like they say they do I dont know if they just dont want to pay you or something but its not worth it. You do better at having a yard sale. Also I had very nice shoes and they didnt buy any of them and the ones they did have were dirty and very smelly. Not to mention very outdated!

Wonderful place to shop for second-hand clothes. Most clothing items are less than $10 and look brand new. Its higher quality than you find in thrift stores without much of a price difference. This place is great for people who appreciate good clothes for a good deal. They also have a stamp card that gives you 20% off once youve earned enough stamps. I highly recommend shopping here. The owner is quite pleasant, too.

This is a precious store with wonderful employees. Great clothes at a reasonable price. However the owner/manager is very rude to his employees and his customers. For that reason, I will not be back.

It is a great store.. Prices are great. Service is great. They even pay you cash for items they need. Items that I was going to give away for free.. I do not see why people complain about. I almost did not go when I read some of the reviews. It is a great place to shop for items cheap and almost new or in some cases new.

They are making it easier to sell your stuff to them everyday. I really like how kind the employees are and they usually have really cute stuff to buy too.

Ive been to Once Upon A Child three times and I never leave without purchasing merchandise from the store. I love the idea that I can thrift clothes for my girls from here. I generally spend at least 30 minutes or more browsing thoroughly thru the girls clothing, and I inspect and look at anything that I find. There are quality of clothes that are gently used, and there are also clothes that you can obviously see has been MORE than gently used. Today was my first time selling clothes, and I was HIGHLY disappointed. Ive dropped off two bags of clothes that were to me in gently used/excellent/good/almost new condition some even better than what Ive seen on the racks today. When it was time for me to pick up, they only took 6 items out of 20 items for $8, which is fine but I think Im more disappointed with the fact that they probably could have taken a few more pieces. Pieces that were in fact better condition that what Ive seen on even their clearance rack. Keep in mind, that the clothing I was selling was clothing that WAS NOT purchased from here. I also left today with purchasing $30 worth of clothing, but this unfortunate unfair incident makes me not want to go back again. I hope I didnt just get a lousy deal because it was my FIRST time selling.

Seems the sellers unappreciated . Without sellers you don’t have buyers. Apparently not many are happy with what they received for their items . I have shopped at Once Upon a Child locations for 10+ years. I was so excited to hear that 1 was coming close to me! I love the selection and how clean and organized everything is and the prices are amazing. I have sold to them also they make it very easy!

I visited this store for the first time this past week. It was nicely organized, and the items they sold were nice quality and priced decently. I sold some items, as well as purchased some items. As per some of the other reviews, I was a bit confused as to how to start the selling process as I wasnt spoken to directly when I walked in with a large comforter-sized bag of clothing and shoes, but once I stepped up to the counter the actual selling process was explained and was effortless. I also went in knowing I wasnt going to get anything near what I paid for these items (just as if I were to sell them in a garage sale), and I believe what I was offered was completely acceptable. I had my 2 yr old daughter with me, and the staff was very friendly with her. We will definitely be doing more business with them in the future!

I found this to be a great place to find gently used name brand baby clothes. Ive been wanting to find Burts bees brand but not pay retail for them and I found just that! My aunt and I found lots of little outfits to spoil my little one with! Will definitely be shopping here again.

I love this place! It is organized so well, and they only accept really good condition clothes. I love how there are always holidag sections where you can find cute holiday themed clothes. I love the prices and quality. Also very easy to sell with them. All around a great place!

Their purchase price is decent, but if unless there are sale event there, their used item price is a little high, especially its rare for any budgeted parent to buy item full price at department store, so most of the item purchase home from department store some time is already at 50-70% off, so used item should be much lower price, but you wont get that here; their item is mark the same as if you wait for the department store thanksgiving sale (the only different is department is brand new item rather their is used and not mark as second hand price; for the same price its better to wait for department store sale)The pro would be they have alot of nice clothes item in the store, most are so gently used, its almost like new. The toy is decent, but still look batter from the hand of children play. But still you can get new from a good sale from store like bargain hunt.

I drove 45 minutes to specifically come to this store and I was not disappointed. I got everything I came for plus more for under $20! As a matter of fact, we plan to make the trip again this weekend and see what else we can find! Owner was super nice

The staff there is so friendly. I love the layout of the store and how organized everything is in there. The products that they have are affordable and everything looks practically brand new. I’m able to shop for my newborn on up to my preteens. I absolutely loooooove this store.

Took a basket of clothes 4-5 T girls. They took 3 good practically new pairs of shoes and 5 dresses and gave me 8$. They said they offer money based off brands. These items were from target and old navy. So not sure what brands they actually give you money for. I could easily have sold these on Facebook market place for more than that; they said they offered me 60 cents per pair of shoes! Waste of gas money and time. I would rather give my clothes away for free than sell there again. Won’t be returning.

Always have plenty of variety and good quality items. Super fast when you are selling something. I go in almost weekly because they are always putting out new things.

I sold some items and they dont give you much. I was offered $2.18 for each of my Ralph Lauren items. They said they will sell it for $10. Thats a rip off for items that my son only wore a few times. They could at least give you more since they tell you how much they will sell them for. I kindly kept my items and left.

I really like this franchise, and I have been an ardent fan of this location since it opened. However, I have noticed of late that it seems to be getting quite sloppy. When I go in to look for shoes or clothes, I frequently find things of the wrong size in the wrong places. I find that if I dig through boxes of shoes that are not size Im looking for, I will actually find a pair that is the size that Im looking for just mis-stocked. The same goes for clothes: when I am looking for something in particular in a certain size, I know now that I dont need to just give up after I dont find it under the labeled size but, if I have time, I go to other sizes to see if maybe something got mis-stocked. It is also hard to find the clearance items. I have to dig through everything in order to find one thing that might be marked clearance. I wish there was a way to have clearance items separated from the rest of the other items. Or at least mark them more obviously.I have also found that the service varies depending on the employees present - your customer service experience may vary depending on what day or time of day you go in. So if you have a bad experience one visit, dont give up. The next visit might be a good experience. And as far as good deals in a clean environment, the store really is great!

Definitely not a good place to sell your items .I sold a graco brand high chair an about 10 large name brand up to date toys with all the pieces in clean excellent condition, along with a bag of small toys an small box of clothes an I received $54.00. one of the toy items was a $100.00 toy that still currently sales at toys r us not mentioning the regular price of the high chair. Some of there items are priced high to purchase as second hand. Not a place to sell or shop.

I love buying clothes here and have used this store in other states and had good experiences. However I drove from Moody to sell my sons old clothes, toys, shoes. I did have a lot... about eight garbage bags. They had all been washed and were clean. We were planning on leaving them there for as long as they needed since there was so much. No where on the website that I could see does it say there is a limit to how many containers you can bring. They lady told me I could only leave two containers and that they preferred boxes or laundry hampers and that they probably wouldnt buy much in a garbage bag because it doesnt look good. Basically I just wasted my time with this visit. Really? You dont even know whats in it?! I spent a LONG time washing, sorting, and folding those clothes for absolutely NOTHING! I came home, washed them (again), and neatly folded the clothes in boxes but am still apprehensive about going back and may take my business to another store. I am very sad about this. At least update the website so people have this info before driving to the store.

Once Upon a Child is absolutly an amazing children store to shop at for second hand clothing, toys and other items! The entire store is extremly clean, smells amazing, and is well organized. All items are properly sized, color coordinated, and labeled properly. ..which makes shopping a breeze! All items are in excellent condition, everything Is clean, spot free, and working which makes second hand items seem like they are brand new!The entire staff at Once Upon a Child is beyond exceptional! They make you feel warm, and welcome as soon as you enter the door. When you shop here you will be more than pleased at the amazing deals you find! Happy Shopping!!!!

This particular store is a hit or miss as far as selling goes. I say that due to staffing. Some of the women are just rude and lazy. I brought a huge tub of toys and a huge tub of clothes while they almost bought all my toys and I was satisfied with my offer I guess they thought they had done enough for me that day because they didn’t even bother looking at the clothes I know this because everything was in the same order there was three outfits name brand with tags and nothing they didn’t buy anything they literally just pushed my whole tub to the side which really erks me sense I have an hour and half drive to the store. But, I have went in there and been served with super friendly staffing that worked to get all my things looked at. This is ironically when the owner is around

Went there last weekend to try to sell an item, when we walked in,we were not greeted and no one asked us if we needed help. My husband stood there to try to sell an item,the ladies that were there never spoke to him,he had to ask them if they would buy the item and they told him no,they dont take it and that was it. I was going to buy some items for my son,but walked out because they couldnt greet us when we walked in and I felt like we were unwanted to shop there. I have worked in retail for over 15 years and I know its important to greet customers and make them feel wanted in the store and to feel like they can shop there and that wasnt the case. Probably wont be going back.

I drive an hour to go here regularly. My husband is in the army and we use to go to the one in Columbus Ga a lot. When I told the guy checking us out that we use to go to that one a lot he asked if we were military and gave us a discount. The staff is amazing and the prices make it easy for us to dress both of our sons nice for a resonance price!
