Great service, friendly and pleasant staffs. Some items might be more expensive than other supermarkets. But Buy one get one free is a really great deal. Shopping experience is also great. Recommend it!.

05/25/2021, I always have a really nice shopping trip at Publix Hoover Place, 1584 Montgomery Hwy., Hoover, AL 35216. Such helpful staff who want each customer to be satisfied. For example, I had a question about French fries and 7 Up, and Keith made sure to give me the help needed to complete my shopping. Keith has helped me on other shopping trips to this Publix. I normally love this Publix but today was different. I scheduled a curbside pick up and it was not a pleasant experience. I followed all directions and when I parked and called the phone number it went to a residential number. I tried twice. I had to go in and pick up my items and the person I spoke with just kept insisting that was the right number. A customer service rep went to get my groceries and brought them to me. In the meantime, the gentleman who I first told I had tried the number came back up and said I was correct. The number is going to someones home. This was my first and probably last curbside pick up. Very disappointed overall with the experience. The purpose was to NOT go inside. Complete fail on curbside pick up!

Publix is simply the best - its pretty well recognized that their bakery and deli, produce, meat and overall selection of products is better than most stores. But did you know that their Pharmacy has lower prices than any other in town, often even lower than the Good RX discount??? Oh, and the employees could not possibly be more friendly and helpful!

The Publix in Hoover off Hwy 31 is closest thing to shopping at a mom n pop grocery store. The staff is always friendly and remembers their customers - the shelves are always stocked with best products.

Hoover Publix is always Wonderful.. I oiv the variety that they have to offer. The BEST thing they have is the Carolines Cart, as my son has Special Needs and cannot walk through the store. It is such a game changer to be able to get my shopping done! The Only thing I wished they carried was Yoplait Kids Yogurt...that is the only brand my son eats and I have to go to other stores to purchase them... Otherwise I am totally Pleased!

Every single time I come into this store the employees are so kind, even the ONE time I had an expires product they had no problem returning it even though I didnt notice until later. Overall my favorite Publix in the city!

I love publix sub sandwiches more than any other place. I have a better variety of cheeses and meats to choose from. They always takesuch good careof me. I love avocado on my sandwich I grewup with a very fruitful one in my backyard. Publix always goes the extra mile and although every time I have to give them the how to cut an avocado lesson they are always so willing to learn. I LOVE PUBLIX!!

I placed an ordered for a 2 year olds under the sea birthday party. I asked for Shades of BLUE. I posted what they came up with. I wish I would have spend the extra money and went to my bakery. This is what I get for trying to save money during a pandemic. Good thing he cant read because he definitely cant see what they wrote on his cake. Im extremely disappointed.They redid the cake for me and it looked much better so I added a star. They were also very kind and quick to resolve my issue so I added another star but I wish it would have been done right in the 1st place.

This Publix is conveniently located right off Montgomery Highway in Hoover. Its a nice, clean store and the cashier who checked me out had fantastic customer service skills. My only complaint is that they had no Dawn Dishwashing Liquid stocked. The only kind of Dawn they even had was a large Refill container that I didnt need or want. Maybe they were waiting on their delivery truck because they were out of quite a few non-food items.

Always a pretty good experience. Publix is good as it gets. You can tell they are taking extra precautions to keep you safe and that definitely helps the shopping experience in a time as such.

This review is just for bakery— I called and got a cookie cake done for my birthday and wanted some writing on it. I made sure I told them how to spell my name correctly multiple times because sometimes people spell my name “Lilly” instead of “Lily.” When I picked it up on the day of my birthday party, it was not only spelled wrong but the writing itself looked horrible. I could barely read it. It was just embarrassing and I had to go back and get my name fixed when I barely had time that day and I made SURE that they didn’t spell my name wrong.

The management of the Hoover Publix has done a really great job keeping the public safe while shopping. They limit the number of customers, clean the carts, and have set up markers to direct traffic one way down each aisle. The sad part is the many of the customers dont pay attention. It is especially sad that the Shipt workers are the main offenders. I realize it takes a bit of planning, and yes sometimes you might have to go down an aisle that is not needed to go the correct way, but a few more steps will not hurt most of us. Lets all try to follow the rules and stay safe.

This Publix has a sushi area which is pretty good. I’m always wanted to look at their two-for-one deals. So if you’re committed to shopping there weekly and looking mainly at their deals it can also be cost effective.

I love this Publix. Been going here for 3 years now & Ive never had an issue. Most of the staff is very friendly & Ive enjoyed some of the recommended recipes they have. Shelves are always stocked, or in the process of being re-stocked. There have been a few times where I couldnt find something & staff has walked me to the aisle & made sure it was on the shelf & handed it to me. I appreciate it so much because I have visited other stores & been told what aisle something is on & have not found it. So, I prefer to shop at Publix, knowing I will leave with what I need every time. Last year I found a pot online, asked them to hold it for me, & then went in to pick it up. I dont care that it was a $40 pot, I was glad to pay the price knowing it was what I needed; & because staff was so helpful. You dont see this much at other places.
