This is the most over priced repair shop ever. I live in PA but need work done to a car to get back to PA and they over charged the hell out of me. I have a 2014 Lexus and paid $1200 for front struts on both side back in PA. They charges me $1600 to do strut on one side of a 2003 E500. Starter from them was over $600 for the same car when online price for platinum Bosh joint is only $156. Dude charged me over $400 to but a starter on, that 3 bolts and connect a harness. Over charged me due to the situation with no compassion. You do dirt, you get dirt.

I’m not one to give reviews on anything but I’ll say that I’m glad I took my car here. I was leaking antifreeze and my A/C unit was going in and out. Dropped my car off and in about an hour they sent me a list of everything they found that needed attention. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you want repairs done professionally and in a timely manner!!!

This has been an ongoing issue Ive provided my own parts and they told me that it wasnt the correct part! When I went back to the auto parts store, the man at the counter told me he gets refunds from customers mentioning that platinum will lie just for you to go through them and get charged double. When I got my car back the hood latch was broken, and my car started smoking! I looked and they didnt wipe the power steering fluid off of my engine which caused my car to smoke. I will be taking my car to another shop just for reassurance will come back and edit once I know something!

The receptionist Nick was soo professional. I really enjoyed using this company and will do all my work with them. I used the fix now pay later option. Very easy process just make sure you have your bank acct and card info on hand. They are trustworthy to me. I will use them instead of my dealer because they are going though your cat like a fine tooth comb and not trying to just find something.

Really really nice people!! Kept in contact with me the entire time they had my car which really shocked me. I didnt have to call them to find out anything. I dropped my car off Wednesday overnight and they had diagnosed it by Thursday morning. I had a new transmission by Monday. Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back, even for routine maintenance. Big fan:)!!edit: 24 hrs later I am stuck on the side of the road. transmission started slipping so i pulled over and realized the car wouldnt move at all anymore. smoking under hood. transmission fluid leaking everywhere. when we opened the hood there was transmission fluid on just about everything near the transmission. bolt missing that was there before. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON (was not on when i dropped it there) very disappointed. was on the way to a different STATE for thanksgiving. i guess its my fault for not double checking before i left. so upset i cant even begin to explain.

Platinum Plus Auto Repair saved my bacon after my Subaru Outback experienced an exhaust failure while driving north on 295. Kudos to them for getting this old boy back on his way in record time and without taking an arm or leg price wise! Id make them my regular shop if I didnt live in Delaware!

In my 28 years of driving I have dealt with many shops, private owned to big corporations. These guys here by far was the best. They where very professional, very easy to work with, communicated what was going on and waiting on, but overall extreme friendly. They took care of my issues. we will be back there and referring folks. Check them out!

I had my repaired on Dec 2019, they replaced my sway bar and links. Parts do not have lifetime warranties and the parts are cheap. Their parts and labor is overpriced. Please shop around before dealing with them!!!!

I thought they did a great Job. I had a battery and alternator replaced. They were very busy but did the job fast and resonably priced.

The staff was nice and gave good advice on what to do if u have the same problem with your car.

My car started sputtering and was losing power. I dropped my car off on a Monday & was told I needed to pay $85 for a diagnostic. Later that day they called me and gave me a list of problems. They also said my car was low on antifreeze & suggested I do a head test, which was an additional $85. I paid for the head test along with the cost to make all the necessary repairs. So after the head test they tell me my car doesnt have a leak & it was fine. That made me a little upset because I think the head test shouldve been included in the diagnostic fee. A waste of an additional $85. BUT on the plus side, they fixed my car extemely fast, sent me pics of what needed to be done and was super friendly. They also gave me a coupon for $20 off, which helped me a lot. I would use them again. Thanks!

The staff was very professional and even though i did have to wait ( at no fault of the shop, i had to wait my turn) i had no problem waiting as i was just grateful they didnt turn me away. i would definitely do business with this shop again.

Free coffee is available while waiting on your vehicle. There is also a payment schedule available if you need it and qualify. They have been our vehicle doctor for several years now, and would dream of going nowhere else.

My family and I have been here 5 times and just wanted to say Thankyou for always taking such great care of us. My wife has an 02 Honda and has a really bad oil leak they were upfront and honest with us and explained it would be more to repair than just wait and put a used engine in it. So that what we will do most shops would have just took my 1k and sent me on my way not explaining that there could be more leaks. Big shout out to your staff for always keeping it 100% real.

Great place to bring your car but everyone else knows it too! So be ready to wait a while to get it back depending on whats wrong and their workload. But youll know its been done right!

Be wary about Platinums rating because they offer a discount if you bring in proof that you gave them a 5 star rating. Took my wifes car in with an appointment at 8am, but they did not even look at the car until 3pm. It further took until 10am the next day before they offered a diagnosis. They wanted to charge us $700 ($400 for parts and $300 for labor) to fix the problem. I went to auto zone and got the parts on my own for $300 and it took a buddy 30 minutes with a screwdriver and socket wrench to install them.The only reason I am not giving them a one star is because they were helpful in jumping my wifes car off when we came to pick it up and the battery was dead.

Because of not listening to my hubbyto take our car and get it fixed when it needed to be the water pump finally gave out. I called one company and all they kept wanting to say was engine replacement. That turned me away. We have a Magnum 5.7 Hemi. Everything runs great on that car. Called Platinum and spoke to Tonya. Our car was towed there and we met with her and she was straight up with everything. For us to get a water pump put on after 12 and getting it back the same day was awesome. Friendly staff and will definitely bring our vehicle back for anything! Thanks so much guys for the awesome work!!!!

Took my car for an inspection, 7 hours later .. I saw my car in the bay with the hood up when I asked why it was setting there with the hood open for an inspection .. I was told check the battery hold downs ? Major leaks (after 7 hours setting you’d notice a major leak on the ground lol), and belts. I’m almost 50 I’ve been through plenty of car inspections never been given that little song & dance before ... because they couldn’t make up any other issues they got me for a bulb out on my license plate ... don’t take your vehicle here you are being taken advantage of. There’s a reason they can fix your car & you pay later ... they are making more than their share off unsuspecting people.

This is to all and every person who ever think about taking your car to Platinum Plus Auto Repair, 1 ask them for your full warranty,what they do to people warranty is frightening,i was told that platinum Plus can keep your life time warranty keep it and give you a lesser one like a 90 day one ..Really...and there is nothing a person can do, Platinum Plus Over Charge people for parts this i was told, if your parts cost a certain amount, they can charge a person hundreds more they said they can do it its legal.So always ask question about your parts if you dont ask they will charge you hundreds good luck my next step is to contact the BBB

Tonya and Casey were on top of everything since I the time I walked in and dropped off my keys to the time I walked out after picking up my keys. The shop did one thing no shop has done before with me, Tonya actually rode with me down the road to make sure that I was satisfied with my car and that everything was fixed properly. I respect that a lot. I highly refer all of my friends to this shop. I had to get a lot of work done and they did it in one day. Thanks to the guys in the shop for getting my car back on the road.

Awesome service. I got stationed here three years ago and I have received nothing but superb service on all three of my vehicles. Any other shop would be uncivilized to use. Dont trust this place. Had to take car back 3 times for alternator, final straw was when I took car for oil and filter change and marked oil filter. They didnt change the filter, told mechanic and he swore he changed it until I took him outside to look under the hood and see the mark on the filter. They charged me $40+ for service not performed, I asked owner how many other people are you scamming by not changing filter???? Do not trust this place!!!!!!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!I took my car here to have my rack replaced. It seemed great....at first. After a few months of having it I took it to get an alignment and the man informed me the bolt that held my rack was missing and that I should go to the place that fixed it and inform them, I then to get back to Platinum and they were just quick to point out anything they sad I made impact with something and knocked the bolt out. I told them I hadnt hit anything and they didnt wanna hear it. I then took it to a small shop up the road after I heard a big pop after leaving Platinum. The guy put in the air and looked at it for 15 to 20 mins before contacting me (seems odd when I took it to platinum they took 3 minutes!) He then informed me due to the bolt not being on I had snapped the rack and broke the power steering tube. I told him what Platinum said. He grabbed a flash light and took me under the car he showed me what all broke and how there was no signs of me hitting anything and told me if i had the oil pan would be busted and that in order to do what they said happen there would be some big indicates. He told me I should have it towed back to platinum after I told him how they treated me and how I dont feel comfortable with them doing anything to my car he fixed it for $920! Another $920 to fix the same part Platinum put in! Platinum doesnt want anything to do with a car once it leaves the shop. The gentleman even took the time to check everything for free and inform me of good things i should update! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP IF YOU GO IN FOR SOMETHING BIG I BET YOU WILL BE REPLACING IT SOON!!!!

We took our daughters car here for repairs they have excellent customer service Tonya and Vikki are great. Explained everything b4 doing it. In the end co.e to find out Steels on wheels sold her a lemon a bad transmission. Took it for 2 belts a pully and water pump they fixed it in a day but then was a transmission issuse this was the 2nd mechanic to tell us the transmission is bad. Platium plus should be ranked #1. Worst experience in my life...Very misleading! My wife made an appointment to get a tune up/state inspection and headlight adjustment. The only thing that was done was a rejection sticker and cost for diagnosis due to motor mount and two front tires that apparently needed to be replaced Dropped the car off at 9 am and received a phone call around 3:30 pm telling me everything would cost $1,500.00 after being quoted $130.00 when I made my appointment two weeks ago...Then told my wife your car is somewhere out there when she came to pick it up...If you go here make sure you ask exactly what they are charging for, and will it be done that day.

Waited three hours for a front end estimate and for them to tell me there’s nothing wrong with it....trash. Don’t waste your time.

Either they dont know what they are doing or they are preying on people to get more money. I went in to get my alignment because I was replacing my tires rather quickly. 2 weeks after the alignment i went from showing steel belts on the inside to the outside of the tires. I first thought it might be because I drove alittle with the car not being aligned so i bought more new tires. 2 weeks roll by again and im showing belts again so i call and ask why and they tell me everytime i change tires i have to get another alignment. (Flat out lie)

Good service if you are getting your oil changed or something simple like that. I took my Acura in for a blown head gasket. After they fixed it oil was running out of the engine. They told me that the engine block was warped. I took it to another mechanic who changed the head gasket and it runs fine and no oil leaks. Needless to say the block was not warped just a bad head job on my engine.

I love the people and the workers cause they took the time to show me what was going on with my car......... I felt like I was at home with them
