Owner is so cool and nice, we had a great time talking with her as we looked through the jewelry. It has awesome stuff (both jewelry and other antiques too!!). The prices where pretty good considering the great quality. My friend and I both loved this place and definitely plan to come back!! :D

Amazing finds and everything is decently priced!

The Old Blue House antique and curiosa shop is an institution in the more Bohemian part of Houston, around Montrose and Westheimer. Really interesting artifacts for sale here.

If you like antiques come check it out they have lots and lots of stuff here. Its not organize and they dont turn on the AC. You most really search the entire place slowly because they have so many things.

Went with my friends. The people were super nice and I definitely learned some cool stuff, totally recommend if you’re near Montrose.

This place was such a pleasure to visit. We even bought a beautiful stain glass window panel from here. The store is beautifully organized with room to walk around and see the different pieces. The lovely lady running the store was informative and a pleasure to talk to. Definitely worth the visit.

Old Blue House has the best quality and history of antiques that have been transformed back to life.What a great thing to do with amazing pieces of history. I’m not going to be the biggest Cane’s fan ever, to be honest. I’ve never been the type of man to endorse a chicken fast food company that has mediocre to subpar chicken, but the Canes sauce is something that I will eat for the rest of my 20s. It’s really cool, and the region you service is perfect for the product

You should really drop in here, come on Midtown were always having to waste a few minutes meeting up with friends. They have a very eclectic array of antiques. Yes it true I would say that 80% of the merchandize are true antiques the other 20% is just really old. No repop items, But Most of all the Kindest, Sweetest Lady Linda owns the place and she has no problem with people just coming and admiring her store. When your done pop into Agora for Pint just across the street.

All I wanted to do was look at an old picture, and I couldnt even touch it with my bare hands? This is one of the best ways to evaluate art, and it was really inconvenient that I wasnt able to properly get the customer experience that I wanted. I might not be shopping here for too long

Unlike the many people who get discouraged when they see subpar antique shops, I choose to use it as full to the fire. I’m a person who’s always looking for added motivation, and this is just the perfect thing for me.
