I took my boat in for a complete rebuild and the owner (Jim) was wonderful to work with. He was very honest and professional throughout the entire process, as well as text me pictures almost daily of the progression they were making which I was very thankful for due to barely being able to control my excitement. I would highly recommend Jim and Houston Boat Services for all your boating needs.

I dont believe the negative reviews on here. Must be people who dont understand anything, or are trying to get something for nothing, or are plants by a competitor. The guys at Houston Boat Service are fantastic! I had routine maintenance done 2 years ago and it came out fast, perfect, and reasonably priced. They even cleaned up the bilge and left it spotless. Recently I had major work done because of an accident, and they went above and beyond to do a great job. They had to completely disassemble the outdrive and pull the motor to make the repairs, including removing part of the interior to get the motor out, but they got the whole job done in a week. They again cleaned the boat up spotless, and even got mildew stains out of the upholstery and buffed out some scratches in the gel coat... at no extra charge! The owner even took the time to negotiate with the insurance adjuster on my behalf to get a fair settlement. I highly recommend these guys!

Do not go here!! All around trying to steal your money! Charge you for work they dont do. Had a whole bunch of work done and said everything was perfect. Boat never ran! Then we went into the motor to look at what they did and not half of it was done! We fixed it ourselves and got it running. Then go out and the lower unit goes out because of bad seals leaked water into lower unit. Which they was supposed to inspect and change fluids. Beware!

Took our Sea Ray to Houston Boat Service and had a water pump replaced. Owner was friendly and honest. When they said our boat would be ready by a certain time it was ready. Great service and over all excellent communication.

If I could give 0 stars I would have.Took my boat to get it checked out charged me 173 dollars to basically tell me they didnt have the part to do the job and then on top of that lost my transom saver which is about 60 dollars then told me it probably fell off. When I had it strapped lol. gave allot of attitude over the phone.. so please dont make the same mistake I did and trust these fruads. Unless you like giving your money to people for nothing and get stuff taken off your boat. Because now im out more then 200 and my boat is in another shop with good reviews dont be like me and not check the reviews.. stay away at all cost from these shady people.

Over charged me and still didnt fix the root problems. Plus they only hook your boat up with the water hose, no real water setting. Wouldnt recommend to others. Owner even tried to hustle his way into buying my boat for cheap to make a flip. Ridiculous, SMH. Unless you have money to throw away, Id look else where....

Just like you may know, I bought a LEMON and they knew it! This Well Craft I bought was carefully staged to have problems every time it went in the water. A never ending strand of staged NEW issues.These people are not honest and you are guaranteed to do repairs no matter what!Stay AWAY!!

He over charges for the work. Never again. Hes a crook.

They had my boat for almost 3 months and they didnt even fix it 100% they over charge me for things they never took time to check. Went to tried it that same day I got it back and didnt work!! Keep your money I dont recommend this place if I could give 0 stars I would

Please keep ur money n ur pocket. These guys are full of it! Charged me an arm and leg. Took boat out once and had problems. Took it back 2 HBS and said nothing they could do. Why not tell me this the first time. Kiss my a** HBS

To all Who is trying to fix his boat be away from this place they going to rip you off they going to say we’re going to check your boat and they going to charge you for checking 135 reach our and after that they going to say you need a lot works and they going to give you a big list to fix it after that he will going charge you for the storage $15 each day I pay 970$ for nothing so I’m trying to get my advice and recommendation with my bad experience for everyone
