This is a family-friendly game store. They even have geeky childrens books. Its a little far for me to visit often, though I anticipate attending events there on occasion. The staff is cheerful and helpful. For the gifting holidays, they had mystery gifts in wrapping paper with suggested ages and the type of game it was (matching, card, etc.).

This is THE place to game, shop, and connect with the nerd community in Houston. Angie has created a welcoming world in a super cute converted bungalow- complete with a TARDIS out front. Highly recommend!

Great store, the owners are some of the most gentle and caring people I´ve ever met. Never been more satisfied with the service in game store before, and I know some pretty good ones.None of them compare to this one., this is THE One store to rule them all.

Went to a MTG prerelease here a couple of weeks ago. It was super fun and homey! They give packs to pretty much everyone too because even the person who looses all the games gets one.

Tiny shop hidden in the heights. Friendly staff, limited selection. Seems mostly focused on tabletop and RPG gaming as well as Magic:the gathering. Could be a gold mine for back issues on comics though. Found a few great gems myself!

This is a laid back comic book/game store. I love that its local and small. Weve bought fun kids versions of super hero and star wars books here as well as gifts for friends. They have a good game selection too. There are plenty of tables for game play and theyre open late Saturdays for that reason. Highly recommend this place!

It was a cute small game store. Not alot of games to buy. Very small selection. It was still a cute shop and they were having a Halloween party. They had tables set up so you could play games too

Amazing experience for Free Comic Book Day. The cashier was super friendly, the selection was AMAZING, the free comic books were fantastic (not that the store has any control over those). We had so much fun visiting this store and looking around. I love that the store is in a house! Parking can be a little rough but we didnt have any trouble.

Extremely friendly and casual mtg environment. Great place to go if youre new to magic, everyone is extremely nice and understanding. Its a little small but very cozy. Magic accessories inventory isnt amazing but the other inventory is - board games, comics, etc.

I came here for the Pokemon TCG meetup, and had a blast! Everyone was really friendly, and they gave me a bunch of free energy and promo cards! The store itself has a really cozy, homey vibe, and I was impressed with the selection of board games they had on display. I look forward to coming back!

Quaint little card and geek shop. Kinda hard to find with no street sign other than a TARDIS out front, but worth looking for it. The guy working was very nice. They also host events regularly!

Went there to look for games. They recommended a game and we bought it. We had a blast and it was an excellent recommendation! So far we have played the game at several parties and events.The also allowed us to order two more games and I look forward to those as well as heeding whatever recommendations they have for other games!

This was a cozy little shop; the people were very friendly. They have a lot of knick-knacks around the room from books to toys for children.While I was there, people were playing magic and starfinder. They do politely ask for a minimum of $5 purchase for table space which is completely understandable. They sell snacks and drinks there, so it was easy to spend the money while being there hanging out and playing.

We have a gaming store in the heights! And they serve sodas and small snacks! And they have a small library of games to try!! And they are nice! (Pause to breathe). A nice store in a converted house with four tables to play on, including a big one for large RPG or war games. I love this place. Seems family friendly, based on a small sample set.

Friendly staff, and she great place to [table-top] game. The location is small, so the stock is much smaller than other game shops, but the name says it all. These guys are building a community with events and local games. If youre into Magic: The Gathering, D&D, or any other table-top game, GeekLife is where to be.

Great place to get your Table Top gaming on. Lots of different games to play and buy. Weekly events for kids of all ages and lots of sweet things to buy your nerdy friends and family. Always willing to help if you have questions and all of the store regulars that hang out there are really friendly and dont mind if you strike up a conversation. Its a charmingly old converted house tht doesnt look like much, but just like the Tardis parked out front, Its a lot bigger on the inside.

Was alright. Freindy staff and people but we payed 15 dollars for a draft and didn’t know there was no prize support. I can buy 3 packs for 12 to play casual. So don’t think I’ll be drafting again.

Cute place, very small. Definitely catering to a niche market, but you can find all kinds of geeky things here and there are some tables for TTG. Extra points for the TARDIS outside. I checked though, and sadly it isnt bigger on the inside.

Best place in Houston for the MTG crowd. This place gives off a warm home feeling (not just because its in a house), the staff are all very friendly and will do their best to welcome the new visitors as there are a lot of familiar faces.

Ill just get my board games on Amazon, since the owners/staff cant be bothered to re-stock or be at all helpful.

I love finding a game store that isnt full of aggressive, nerd elitists. Youd think that people into a bunch of nerdy games and hobbies would be more tolerant but some other game shops forget that. GeekLife is great no matter what sort of games youre into.

I came in looking to learn and get started play Magic the Gathering. Angel was very kind as she answered all of my questions and explained to me the game and how I could get involved.I returned Friday night for a draft tournament. Everybody was very patient with me as a learned the game and participated. I had a lot of fun and made some new friends.I definitely recommend Geeklife if you are new or looking for place to play casually.Support your local businesses! This one is a winner.

D&D Wednesday nights, Magic the Gathering Fridays, and board games that you can play for free whenever you want, especially on the weekends. They also have snacks, memorabilia, board games and are very family friendly.

What a cool store. I am so happy that this place exists now! The sales person I talked to was super nice, not super knowledgeable about everything thing in the store but with their diversity of nerdom it would be tough to find someone who knew all that. I guess they could hire me and then they would LOL JK. Back to the store, great selection of comics, board games, table top games, collectibles and more.
