Wonderful bridal dress shopping experience at Vivienne Atelier in Houston with dress consultant Geraldine!. Pretty shop with dresses nicely displayed for easy viewing by customers. Lots of couture looking designs. Really appreciated being able to completely look through all dresses at our leisure at start of appointment as opposed to having to simply describe what we’re wanting and consultant going off behind the scenes to make selections.this was especially important because my daughter ended up trying on and saying yes to a dress she would have never described had she not seen it. Ultimate dress selected was a Vivienne Atelier dress which because its their own brand youre receiving a couture dress at a much lower price point.Had planned to visit many salons and ended up thrilled with our choice on the first day! Every bride should visit Vivienne Atelier and see Geraldine who is so pleasant, patient and provides excellent knowledgeable customer service.

I had the absolute best experience here! I called them last minute on a Sunday and they did not hesitate to tell me to come in and have a look. Kelly was my stylist and ultimately pulled the dress I said yes to! She was so patient and kind and helpful. I went in with an unclear idea of what I wanted and she didn’t rush me or push me to make a decision fast. Stop by this beautiful shop and ask for Kelly. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a really great experience! Kelly was really nice and honest. She was very patient with us. Our appointment took 1.5 hours but she didnt seem to mind. All of the dresses there were beautiful and different than all of the bridal shops Ive been to, and Ive been to at least 7 others. The dresses here are also affordable. I would highly recommend this place to any friend or stranger.

I had no idea what I was looking for when I went in. Vivienne Atelier was my first stop for looking for my wedding dress and I ended up spending two hours there. Anna helped me try on a dozen completely different dresses and was so wonderful! They have a lot of different styles! I actually ended up picking the very first dress I tried on!

I recently said yes to the dress with the help of Kelly! She was so kind, helpful, and encouraging! When I walked into the shop she asked me to show her pictures of my favorite gowns and she pulled all of the ones in-store immediately. Then, she gave me 5 clips to tag my favorite dresses to try on, after giving me a tour of different necklines and waistlines. It was hard to choose, as they’re all so gorgeous! I tried on around 10 dresses and she helped me sinch up each of them, and flipped the train around as needed so I could move around. We found the one after only one visit (I haven’t visited anywhere else and after stepping into the shop, I knew that I wouldn’t need to!) Gorgeous gowns, great customer service, 10/10 experience. I would say “I’ll be back,” but...

Wish I could give no stars but my experience was not great at all. I walked and immediately felt uncomfortable but I still gave it a try. The so called stylist just handed me a container of clips and told me to clip the dresses I liked. Very limited sizes and dresses at this place. The “stylist” was just sitting behind the desk doing nothing didn’t offer any kind of help or asked if I had any questions. I would not recommend this place at all.

I purchased my wedding dress here a year ago (my wedding was January 2019) and the experience was nothing but great! I found out about them at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza, where I received a coupon for 50% off my entire purchase! Im very indecisive, so you can imagine how finding the perfect dress was for me; I had gone to 6-8 stores prior to Vivienne Atelier. The associates allowed me to take my time while at the store, I narrowed it down to 5 options, and came back the following week to make my final decision (they extended the expiration date on my coupon as they said the associate who gave it to me shouldve written the date on it and no longer works there). Customer service is outstanding and theyre also bilingual. They do have a limited amount of options, but theyre all so beautiful! You have to pay 50% of the total cost when you order your dress, and pay the rest when it arrives from California in 6-7 months as the dresses are made to YOUR size. The associate mentioned the sheer top and sleeves on my dress (Heather) can be selected to a color that closely matched my skin tone as theyre originally plain white. I also ordered the my veil through them, which they custom created it to match the bottom lining of my dress. For their unparalleled service and options, Vivienne Atelier tops all other wedding dress shops/boutiques. Thank you so much!

Loved it!!!!! They helped me pick dresses that fit what I wanted and everyone there was very attentive. I felt super comfortable and they were all excited for me when I found “the one.” So glad we came!!!!!

Vivienne bridal was amazing experience !!!!!!!!When I first came in I was already feeling a little discourage. I came in and Samantha helped me at the front desk, she gave me a few clips and told me to look around. At first I was like what? Uh okay? But I came to realize it was nice looking at my own dresses. The had a really nice variety of dresses, any style you could want. The moment I started looking I fell in love with one particular one. I kept going but reverted back to it and decided to try it on because I couldn’t get it off my mind off it. I ended up saying yes to the dress!!!!! When we started trying on dress Samantha was the best hype man, she made me feel beautiful, comfortable and was very helpful and truthful about each dress. Thank you so much, Samantha for all your help! And thank you Vivienne Bridal for helping me on the road to being a Mrs. ♥️

Pleasantly surprised at the level of knowledge and help they gave my daughter at this store. We were helped by a consultant named Daisy from New York who used to work at Kleinfelds! Not the cheapest but we loved the value!

Not a very good experience. My “stylist” (in quotes because not much help was offered) only pulled a couple dresses for me after I clipped the ones I liked. She wouldn’t help me in them or zip. Only clip. I asked to see a photo of a dress that I tried on that had a large petticoat under it to see it without for her to say they don’t have one. A quick google search and I found one...on their own website. Also this may be picky but her overall attitude seemed very “I don’t care enough to be here.”

Great experience, the ladies are super sweet and very helpful!! Not the biggest selection of dresses but they can order something for you that you may see online or with another designer! Great place!

I had a great experience looking for my wedding dress at Vivienne Atelier. My consultant was soooo helpful and gave me great advice. She had awesome energy and was super creative. Ultimately, I am in love with my dress, the design and quality of this dress is unparalleled. I definitely recommend checking them out if youre looking for the perfect dress!

Staff treated my best friend terribly. Very limited sizing, my friend is only a size 10-12 & nothing fits. The 2 dresses she found that she liked they told her she could buy them and they would order themselves a new dress and give her the one on the rack but she couldn’t take it gone until their new one arrived. Horrible experience, really broke my friend’s heart. Would not recommend.

This was my first time looking for a wedding dress for my wedding in Houston. A few years ago I needed a white wedding dress for an event in New Orleans so I am aware of the process. When we went in the lady at the front said that I had canceled my appointment when in fact, I receive 3 different confirmations of my appointment. The person that helped never told us a name, did not ask anything about me or my style. As I tried on dresses and realized exactly what style I wanted for my wedding dress, she was not willing to get up and help. The lady had no desire to help. She sat behind the front desk doing nothing. She did not help pin the dress, look for other dresses, or assist in any way. My mother had to go through the store and pull dresses. When we showed her a dress similar to what we wanted, she said that this place was couture and didn’t hold anything like it. She was very rude and never helped. Later that day, I went to another appointment that held similar designers and found a dress. The only reason I am giving two stars is because they carried nice dresses.

What a wonderful experience! Its definitely strange planning a wedding during a pandemic but the ladies at Vivienne Atelier made you feel super comfortable even with us all wearing masks. They also do temperature checks at the door. My consultant was amazing. She listened to what I was looking for, had me try on a variety of that style and then brought me a totally different dress so I could see the contrast and that one turned out to be perfect! She really understood what looked good on me. 10/10 would recommend.

If I could give less stars I would, I invited my mother and friend in town to go look at dresses and to say that we didn’t receive the bridal treatment would be an understatement. Our “specialist” had attitude and wasn’t helpful AT ALL she didn’t offer to grab other styles or sizes or help buckle the dress or to bother with even a smile! She literally played with her nails the whole time and the only moment of excitement she has was when my friend referred to taking a nap(her words) I was busy trying to get into a dress. Listen I’m in the high end service industry and I’m planning on spending around 5k for my dress and let’s just say you can tell these woman don’t work on commission!!! It’s a HELL NO for me and my mother even apologized over and over to me for the bad service. So I felt the need to tell Brides please go else where. Luckily the place we went to before this visit was THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE and it didn’t make the day a complete waste of time. If I was an emotional person I would have went off but I was okay getting dressed and and leaving.Beautiful establishment but horrible service it’s a pity.

Vivienne Atelier Bridal in Houston is great . They treated me like a queen. The consultant was very patient and not pushy at all. It was like she knew me and my style and worked with what I was looking for. Despite COVID regulations they made me feel at home. The salon is beautiful and has plenty of options. All I can say is I cant wait for my dress to come in . Thank you Vivienne for making my bridal experience amazing. !!!

I was anxious thinking about the shopping process, anticipating nothing fitting me and feeling bad, but that is not at ALL the experience at Vivienne Atelier. The dresses are beautiful, reasonably priced, and the salon is gorgeous. I will recommend this store to any plus size bride.

I had an amazing experience at Vivienne Atelier, and couldnt recommend this store enough! They have a cute, classy location with a large selection of wedding gowns. They are sharing parking lot with Star Pizza next door, so you dont worry anything about parking.You get a private appointment which I love! I worked with Kelly; she was accommodating, but also gave her honest opinion and I appreciated that so much. I was by myself and was there to try on one particular gown, but she let me try on a couple more that I noticed on the rack. I only have positive things to say about my appointment - they are worth the drive if you arent local!

Wow what an experience! As a curvy girl I was really anxious about dress shopping and dreaded the thought of it. From the moment I set my appointment until I left the store I felt so welcomed and valued. My stylist, was patient yet fun with me and my gal gang and has continued to be an amazing resource following my appointment. My experience at the Vivienne Atelier was wonderful.! Janellys was my consultant and she truly is a sweetheart I had a lot of family with me and a lot of opinions which I know had to be stressful for her! But she kept a smile on her face and made sure I was still happy with what she was pulling! I found my dress! I never had to stress or worry at all. If youre looking for a classy, elegant, intricate, unique gown then this place is worth a visit.

Although I am not sure if I am going to get my dress from Vivienne Atelier, I wanted to shout out the shop and my attendant Chassity. She made the appointment so comfortable for me. She was the perfect amount of upbeat but not too much that it is was off putting. She stayed true to my vision and pulled all the dresses she had that I described. I even got dressed and saw two other dresses I liked and she was open enough to put me back in the dressing room and help me with them. She also was not pushy at all which I really appreciated. The store itself is a great size. Not too big and was never super crowded. I do love the selection of dresses they have because they are styles I havent seen before. I might still get my dress from here but it was such a great experience.

Found the most beautiful gowns here. I was really nervous about looking for a wedding dress, so nervous that I actually delayed planning for my wedding. I’m a plus size girl and it’s hard for me to always find clothes that I love. I couldnt even imagine how difficult it would be looking for a wedding gown. I made the appointment with Vivienne Atelier.I found SO many beautiful gowns in my size and had a hard time choosing. They have lovely fitting rooms, pink curtain and nice lighting. When I finally said yes to the dress, they helped me with ideas for alterations and customizing the gown, so that it’s exactly what I want. I definitely recommend Vivienne for their beautiful unique styles.

I was referred to Vivienne Atelier by my sister in law who also got her dress from There! I couldnt rave about this store enough. I had visited other bridal stores prior to going to Vivienne and wasnt pleased by the selection of dresses until I saw what Vivienne had to offer! Immediately I was greeted with such warmth, kindness, and, amazing customer service. While in the midst of a Pandemic, Vivienne made me feel safe as they handled appointments with pre-caution, allowing people to enter the store with appointments only & requested everyone to wear a mask. I HIGHLY recommend any person out there looking for a wedding dress to come to Vivienne! You wont be disappointed! I highly recommend Vivienne Atelier for any bride-to-be! The prices are reasonable, the dresses are beautiful with varying styles, and the service is absolutely fantastic. My first bridal shopping experience elsewhere didnt go well, and I was quite nervous I wouldnt find the style I was looking for. However, from the moment I stepped into Vivienne Atelier and met my consultant, Kelly, I immediately had a sigh of relief. I cannot say enough kind words about her. She truly listened to my vision, picked a great selection of dresses for me to try, and made me feel genuinely comfortable throughout the appointment.

WOW - the only way to describe Vivienne Atelier! I went to a few bridal stores in Houston before visiting The Vivienne, and I can say, the Vivienne was the best experience all around. If you are a bride looking for dresses that are truly unique, yet classic, and COMFORTABLE, go to Vivienne. Their diverse gown selection had pieces I had not seen at other shops. Im just so pleased with my experience with them, and I would 110% recommend them to other bride-to-bes!

Alma was amazing! She helped me try on about 10 different dresses. Very patient and knowledgeable. Bought a really beautiful dress off the rack for less than $800! Definitely recommend this bridal shop.

The staff at Vivienne Atelier were very accommodating and allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted. On the way out of the store to head to another bridal shop an advertisement on their register counter of a dress with an illusion top caught my eye. I was working with Andrea - who allowed me to go back into the store and try it on. Everyone took out their phones to snap a pic and I pretty much knew it was the one. But Andrea allowed me to place the dress on hold while we went to make sure I didnt find anything else at the other bridal shop. We made it back within minutes of closing and Andrea was again happy to accommodate us, even allowing me to try the dress on again. It was on sample sale so we walked out the door with the dress and the stores manager recommended a lovely seamstress (Rosie and A La Mode Bridal) who did a fabulous job!I’m so in love with the dress design and it def looks wayyyyyy more expensive than we walked out the door with paying. Highly recommend Vivienne Atelier!

I said yes to the dress here a couple weeks ago, and Im still talking about how happy I am with the dress and with Vivienne Atelier! My first visit with them, I had Amber as my consultant. She remained so patient with me after trying on practically every dress they had and repeatedly saying no to each dress. She pushed me to try on different styles just for the heck of it, even if it wasnt something I thought I was looking for. And that is how I came across THE dress! Amber gave me time to think about it and didnt pressure me at all to make the purchase that day which Im very grateful for. My second visit I met Kelly who answered my hundreds of questions with such grace and honesty. She addressed all of my concerns and was so helpful. Ive been back 3 times and was still treated like royalty each time. Thank you guys for the great experience, and I cant wait to reveal the gorgeous dress on my wedding day!

I went to the Vivienne Atelier Houston store and had an amazing experience for me as my first stop for wedding dresses. The store was very welcoming and the staff was friendly and helpful. The store had a nice selection of dresses in different styles and in not too expensive of price ranges. They were very accommodating in letting me know what my options were in terms of how dresses could be changed while trying on the dresses so I could have a more informed opinion of what I was trying on. Luckily for me I was able to find my dress after my fourth try on! I would certainly recommend making an appointment at this bridal store to check out some of the dresses!

I recently went to Vivienne Atelier in Hoston because my friend had told me about it and had said they had some great dresses. From the moment I got there I loved the whole experience! My consultant was Kelly and she was absolutely amazing!! I described my vision of what I wanted/was looking for, gave my budget and was then given the chance to walk through and pick out dresses I wanted to try on. I loved how she always made me feel comfortable and made my opinion her top priority. During my visit I had been looking for something fitted, which was my vision, but my friend wanted me to try on a ball gown. I reluctantly did so, but found it fit well and I liked it. At this point Kelly asked if I would be open to trying on another ball gown and I was open to it, and at that point I got the sense she had wanted me to try one on but never pushed it or suggested it until I was open to it. She ended up picking out the dress I love and I am so happy! I would definitely recommend Vivienne Atelier to any bride looking for their perfect dress!

So thankful for Vivienne Atelier! I was really unexcited to try on wedding gowns. I feared I wouldn’t be able to find what I wanted in Houston. But VA focuses on couture style with very reasonable pricing! They are made to order and they will measure you to make sure your dress fits you like a glove. Trust me, that makes ALL the difference! They have a great and unique selection.My sales associate was Kelly and she was amazing! She went above and beyond for me. I have a very hectic work schedule but she was very accommodating to my schedule. I asked a kazillion questions which she had no problem answering. And you can tell her top priority was to make sure I am going to love my dress. She measured me during each fitting to make sure the measurements were on point. When they came out with a petite version of my dress, she called me to come try it on to give me more options. I really appreciated that and I think it really made a difference in the end result.Go see Kelly! She’s detail oriented, thoroughly and very respectful with your personal space.

I eventually knew exactly what I wanted; it was just a matter of finding someone who had what I wanted in stock. I researched many wedding dress boutiques and decided to give Vivienne Atelier a try. Kelly was incredibly helpful from my initial appointment to the final deposit. I stepped into Vivienne Atelier, told Kelly what style I liked, picked 6 dresses, and ended up saying yes to the dress! This was the first and only wedding dress shop Ive visited. They were also having a promotion where my dress was around $1000 cheaper than normal. I highly recommend them!

This place is one of Houston’s best kept secrets! I first went to Vivienne Atelier as my second bridal shop, selected a favorite, and then shopped around. I went to 10+ stores around Houston but nothing compared to the service (Kelly was BEYOND AMAZING!), the quality, and the selection.I went back today, and after trying on even more dresses during my second visit, I bought “the favorite” one from the first visit. What’s even more amazing is that Kelly was the one that selected that dress, in the first place. She made my dress dream come true!I ended going with a Pronovias gown, and the price was very fair, esp. for that designer. Amazing experience all around!!Check them out! You won’t regret it✨

I love my wedding gown that I bought from Vivienne Atelier. It was stylist, reasonable and good quality. I would like to give the highest rating for Vivienne Atelier. Plus, Kelly, my consultant was also awesome. She is very helpful, friendly and provide an awesome service.

Be careful with this place. Shady business practice. I ended up finding my dream dress at this store, put down a deposit to reserve the price (not sure why that was necessary) and went back and purchased it the next day after some more shopping around. Thankfully, my mom decided later to call around to other stores to see if they carry the dress and what the price is. After calling 7-8 stores in Texas, each one stated that exact same dress is half the price of what I paid. I tried to reach out to the store manager about this, she said she has no control over price and cannot give me a refund, that I need to send an email to a corporate office for help (incredibly frustrating, the manager of a store should have some power to help a disappointed customer). After my email a few days later a manager from LA spoke to me, said there was a “system error” that incorrectly priced my dress, and eventually gave me half my money back. Just want to warn other brides to be cautious, not to get ripped off as I almost was. Thankfully the dress itself was beautiful and arrived on time, but this definitely ruined the experience for me.

After reviewing and wonderful assistance from the store associates I was able to find a dress I loved. I could not have been happier, and the look on my husband’s face on my wedding day made it all worthwhile!P.s They custom sized the dress to fit!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bridal shop Kelly the stylist helped pick out my dream dress!!! She picked multiple styles even after I found my dress to help me solidify my decision! The shop is clean, well organized, and had a great selection of beautiful dresses! I recommend every one to make an appointment to the shop!

Agree with other reviews. Great experience and did not feel rushed at all. I didnt find my dress here because I was looking for another style but they have beautiful dresses.I think I went to every store in Houston and the surrounding area. All stores had a great selection of dresses and were really sweet and helpful (except AMORE bridal also known as The Bridal Depot)

Vivienne was the best choice I could have made for gown alterations. It was a pretty tricky alteration with the dress I chose - but her unbelievable talent improved the dress in so many different ways. She has such an eye for detail and consideration for what you want for the dress from every angle.

I saw them on Instagram for a sample sale, so I made appointment and met Kelly and Katelyn in the store, they were really so nice and pulled out exact right dresses for me after listened to me. their price range is like $1200 to $3000, dresses are all very beautiful designed, very special than other bridal shops. most important they will customize my size without charge me, I guess I could save a lot of money on alterations. I didnt buy sample for sure, but I felt comfortable for their service and price, a good experience! check them out.

Seriously the best experience. Earlier in the day I visited another local boutique that wasnt extremely helpful and left feeling super disappointed. A friend made a last minute appointment with Vivienne Atelier and from the moment we entered the store they made us feel so welcome. Janellys was my consultant and she was really good! I am a curvy girl and I thought I would be embarrassed or intimidated, but Janellys was very positive. In fact, the dress I bought was not one of my picks - Janellys picked it and it looked fantastic. Great experience overall, couldnt be happier!

I love this place! Was looking for a unique dress and this place has tons of them! I had tried on dresses at many other places including BHLDN, Ventura’s, and Pronovia’s. I had a few friends who got their gowns from BHLDN and since I’m obsessed with Anthropologie, I figured it was a good place to start. I honestly did not want to spend a lot on my gown. I’ve never been one of those girls who has her dream dress in mind since she was like 5, so I was planning on going out to different places to actually try on and see what I like..then buying a cheap knockoff on Etsy or DHGATE.This was the first store I went into where I didn’t care what the price was, I just wanted to try all the ones I liked on! If you like the 3D appliqués or trendy necklines/backlines (not sure of the technical terms..like I said I don’t think I’m a “traditional” bride), this is the place! I fell in love with a lot of different lines, mostly they were Australian so the sizes were a bit different than US sizes.Regardless, after the first time I went, I tried to find a cheaper lookalike online with no luck. I even tried Stillwhite, and although I found similar looks, I had my eye on one particular style and couldn’t shake it out of my mind. Kelly was such a huge help- I went back to the store and tried on more dresses along with the one I loved from before. They have a hold discount where you get up to 30% off if you let them keep it for 3 months. I opted for the hold for 2 months for 20% off.Since we were on a tight timeline, Kelly even spoke with a seamstress she highly recommended (they don’t have in-house tailoring) who said she’d be able to alter it for me in time for my wedding. Yes, I ended up spending way more than I planned (albeit a normal price range for a well made dress), but the customer service and design choices couldn’t have been beat. And I looked around, believe me! If I had to do it again, I would’ve gotten the gown the first time I went and did the 3 month hold discount!Overall, communication was great and Kelly was super fast..she saved me time by getting me in and out of every gown I wanted to try on. I never felt pressured into buying anything, and answered every lingering question I had via text with the store number (yay technology!). All of the things I really valued. If you’re in doubt, go here! I can not recommend this place enough! Thanks Kelly, you rock!!

I scheduled an appointment and when I came in they acted like I didn’t have one. Staff was rude and the store was falling apart. Literally. I tried to hang my clothes up on a hanger in the fitting room and the whole hook came out of the wall. To top everything off they didn’t carry a single dress in my size! When I asked the employee (short Hispanic) what the largest dress size in store was (which I’m sure was no larger than size 14 since I grabbed multiple dresses and none fit) she said she didn’t know! Oh but don’t worry, when I pick my dress they measure me and order it in my size. HOW DOES THAT HELP?! I can’t see what the dress would look like on me until purchase?? I think not.P.s I’m not sure who makes these dresses but the “detailed beading” was falling off some of the dresses.I’d give less than a star if I could.

Service was really amazing. All the girls were so polite and helpful. My 2 young nieces had to come and the staff were really accommodating and friendly to them as well. Really good service.

I recently ordered the most important dress I will ever wear from this shop. I love Kelly (stylist). She is so sweet and patient.This was also the first bridal salon I got to go to and they have plenty of styles for me to try on to figure out which silhouette, fabric, and color I really wanted. All of the dresses here are nothing like what I have found at other bridal shops, they really are unique.You have the option to get your dress made to your measurements rather than having to order a standard size, which should be the only way you should be able to buy any wedding dress. I am short girl with hips, moving the waist line and adding details were a breeze. At other bridal shops, they attempted to talk me out of dresses that would need that due to the extra work with the lace overlay. Not here.****UPDATE- My dress came in about 20 days after the delivery date listed upon my receipt, my dress arrived missing all of the beading, ALL of the appliqués in the train, and had stitching that ran through each layer of the dress that caused the dress not to lay flat on my body. They had a seamstress in town that they sent me to fix alllllll of the issue wrong. I ordered my dress so that I would have it two and a half months before my wedding date. After the dress being late and needing an EXTENSIVE amount of work, I received it THREE DAYS. Read that again, THREE DAYS before my wedding. I have never heard from anyone since the dress and appliqués arrived at the seamstress. This dress was one of the few things that cause a huge amount of stress.
