This is an awesome meat market! They are mostly busier than booda cooda every day, but are well worth the wait! They always have what I want and need . Their prices are for so.w things maybe a little high but most are reasonable. Theyre very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. And trust and believe they have a lot of staff but are always busy busy. So if you walk in and see a line, just know thats normal lol... I went and got me some deer sausage links (which are the greatest must I add), alligator sausage (again which is great and new there), got my alligator 🐊 meat and my goat meat!!! One happy camper ☺️

One of the best kept secrets in Houston. This meat market not only has just about any thing you could want but if it is not on display the butchers will cut it for you while you wait. Oh, and did I mention that they will process your deer, hog, or what ever else you may harvest in the great state of Texas.

Love this place. They have an amazing selection of meats and have plenty of stock everyday. This is my go to place for deer sausage too. They also will process for you. Aside from a great butcher shop they also have groceries and produce. Pretty much everything you would need to have a cookout. They have good hours and plenty of staff to help you even when its super busy they get to you quick. They also have a great selection of rare meats.

Went for their variety of smoked sausage and walked out with a bag of meat! I enjoyed the first I tried when I got home. Will have fun trying the other 5. Liked the fact that the place look very clean

Great service. They stay busy, but use a ticketing system to get everyone through the lines quickly. In addition meats you can readily find at the grocery store, they keep rabbit, alligator, goat, turtle, etc. in stock. Ill definitely visit B&W over the butcher that I previously used.

Its a good meat place to get all kinds of Meats . The Steaks are really good quality of meat. And Boudain is Amazing. Give them a visit.

I have always had a good experience there. The gentleman was very friendly and this time I only went for 3 things which is a big improvement for me.

Great source for bones and scraps for our dogs (call ahead for scraps). Staff are very courteous and helpful. Best times to go vary throughout the week... weekends are very busy.

This is where I go to get oxtails cut the way I like. They cut between the joints which is always better. Also beef stew meat is cut the way you like. Grocery stores slice not chop. Hit the stew meat with 3 to 4 chops

Jolynn was absolutely the best. I drive over an hour from work everyday. I found this place on Google and drove off the beaten path even though I knew I had 5 oclock traffic to fight. She was the best and was so attending to my needs. They also really have amazing prices and I will be looking for Ms. Jolynns sweet face next time I come.

I love this meat market I been coming here since I was a little girl and my parents came before I was born. Ive always had a pleasant experience but today my experience has left me in shock just from asking a question. Im so used to seeing people I know and recognize when I go so I asked the worker was she new smiling at her and she goes left on me slamming her hand down on the counter and stomps off her name is Rachel she has a tattoo on her neck and the lady that she reported it to did nothing did not even come over to talk to me about the situation like it was nothing didnt get a chance to talk to the owners supervisor manager because no one was around so Im posting this review and also reporting it to the news and taking it a step farther it was awful B&W has lost family and friends nobody should be treated the way I was because I asked a question it was wrong for her to treat me that way and also that woman she went to, what she should have done was came over to talk to me and apologize for the way the worker treated me something would have been better than nothing. My family would come here before we went to Minimax grocery store so thats a long time we have been coming here we are no better than the next person but we deserve to be treated right.

Ive been buying 🍖 and 🐓 here for years. Since covid-19 hit I shopped less. Today I went by and they still require 😷 for customers, however I noticed some employees not following their request. If its good for the 🦆 then it should be good for the gander.

Yesterday was my first time going here and I was really looking forward to seeing what B & W had to offer. Theres so much that one can get and when I first walked in I wont lie, I was overwhelmed and I didnt even know where to begin. I couldnt get a good look of everything that was offered because it was very crowded when I came in, but I decided to get a number and wait for my number to be called. I bought a bunch of stuff, a lot of the things I bought I dont think I needed but I really wanted to try a few things out.The experience was pretty good, but I think Id go on a weekday or later in the evening so I can get a better look at everything, I will also make sure to have a list ready beforehand so I can just tell the butchers what I would like to have.Overall, it was a pretty good experience, I was a smidge bit disappointed in their Shrimp and Crawfish etouffee because it came in a small box that look like something those microwavable meals are put in. Im from Louisiana, so Im used to seeing etouffee either being made from scratch or coming in tubs, jars, or in those flat plastic packaging.

When I first walked in the store, it smelled of freshly made sausage. You had to take a number which made waiting line better. Every one was really nice.

B&W has a good variety of products but the wait is too long. The last few times Ive visited it has taken 40 minutes to get served from the time I pulled my number. This weekend the parking lot was so packed, I just left. Perhaps they should hire more staff.

Great meat and the employees are very nice, I just wish I didnt have to wait an hour and a half today just to get some sausage.

I would like to say that the young lady named Johnny was an amazing help!! She knew the merchandise and was very helpful and courteous!! She is a great person and I felt she was very genuine! Went here because I needed a meat market spot. We had to take a number and wait for your number to be called. The wait was not long at all. The person that calls your number will be assisting you with any meat youre requesting. They cut the meat to your liking and wrap it for you. If youre a wild meat eater, this is the place for you. They have deer, rabbit, frog legs, alligator and so much more. Not only is it a meat market, but youre able to find different varieties of seasoning for your meat. I recommend anyone thats looking for a fresh cut meat market to try B&W Meat Company, you wont regret it. 😊

Always has been the BEST meat market in Houston and still is !!

I can here on a Sunday around noon to pick up some specialty meat from the butcher. I was looking forward to it, until I stepped inside and right into the line! It was so long that it was clear I’d spend 20 or more minutes just waiting. Worse, I couldn’t see the counter from the back, so I ran the risk of getting to the counter just to learn my meat product was not in stock. So I left in favor of another establishment. Also, not to pile on, but there was a distinctly foul odor in the store. Will not return.

Tons of selections. The meat is freshest on Mondays and Tuesdays. Employees are very knowledgeable and well versed in their craft. The spicy boudain is a must. Pull a number then clock in to meat heaven.

Customers are often chattering among themselves about whats good to try. If you are a snacker while bar-b-cuing try the pencil links. I have been enjoying them almost 25 years. You are also able to buy cases of meats. Great rolls of summer sausage, also the beef ones. Everything is so worth every penny. Whenever my Dads in town this is his market to take different meats home

When going to the meat section in the back of the store, everything looks fresh and ready to order. There is a full menu waiting to be ordered and the expert workers are ready to gather what you ask for. There is never a lack of anything, which means everything is always in-stock and ready to order.Whenever I go, I am always greeted by the butchers with A+ customer service and when asked, they will give you good advice how to cook the meat, and tell you what sauces and seasonings to use. I went last Friday and I had the pleasure of Jolynn to assist me. I had a big order and she was able to keep it in memory and gather everything I need with the correct price. I HIGHLY recommend to have Jolynn work with your orders when going into B&W. If anything, I recommend management to give her a raise because of her expertise and how well she treats customers. I am sure that B&W have workers just as dedicated as Jolynn, but I can only speak from my experiences and how good the customer service was when working with her.

I have been a customer for over 15 years. I live in Cypress. I purchase meat here that I cannot get from my local supermarket. All the packers are friendly. But some are very skilled attentive courteous and fast at filling your order. If they are I tip them. You should too. But go and experience them for yourself.

$76.00 of Ribs sold to me were not fresh and were sold when they were at the end of their shelf life. They couldnt handle a short freeze and a thaw in a controlled and safe way. I would like someone to reach out to me to fix this situation.**Update** I called and asked if I could at least get a partial refund for the ribs. I purchased a brisket alongside the ribs and it came out great, just the ribs didn’t make it. They wanted the ribs to get a look at them but I had already threw them out; i didn’t want any rotten meat in my deep freezer/fridge. I took pictures beforehand but now that I look at them, the green slime didn’t come out too well under my fluorescent lights. I still have the little tag from the meat still but they didn’t want that. I didn’t ask for a full refund due to the unusual situation, I’m not unreasonable. I wanted a compromise so we can both be happy but nope. First and last time I will visit unfortunately.

The quality of the meat is outstanding, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. They have just about any type and cut of meat you could possibly ask for. They have a wide variety of different types of sausages that are made in house and are just delicious. The boudin is some of the best Ive tasted. I highly recommend their sausages, stuffed pork chops, steaks, and boudin.
