Ive now been to this place twice with a friend and each time Ive had a good time. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly. There is currently ongoing construction to enlarge the humidor, which is great. There is also a nice selection of cigars. Some that I havent found at other cigar shops in the Houston area.I do however, feel that some of the furniture needs updating and facility could use a fresh coat of paint.

I am Ron Lewis A&R For Beastmusiq Records Record Label I frequent the shop always I love the place and when I need to get away I go there. Denzel is my main man there and he always has an open arms approach in hospitality there I have no problem continuing my business with friend ly fire.

The customer service was excellent, there when you asked a question but gave you your space.Prices are fair compared to other cigar shops. The only issue I had was they were doing renovations. It hurt the atmosphere of the lounge.

Only been in here once. But planning on coming back more. Very very welcoming atmosphere. Not the largest humidor. But a little something for everyone. Now if they get black label trading company I’ll be in everyday. 👍

Very laid back cigar lounge. Ive been there a couple times, although the most recent time was for a birthday party. The DJ was spinning some great tunes, the football game was on and there were multiple seating areas for all the guests to spread out to be comfortable. The cigar selection was good, and the prices were ok compared to a few other shops...but I would definitely return!

I never do reviews but this place need one. This place is awesome, I have been here 7 time the last two weeks and I cant stay away. Everyone is friendly and it feels like home when you sit down for a good cigar in an environment that welcomes everyone. This is the only place I will go.

Excellent ambiance for cigar smokers and their companions. Im not a cigar smoker and I enjoyed my time there. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcomed. Its like going to the house of your best bud and having a cigar. There are TV options from sports to Netflix to Hulu. You can BYOB to have a sip to go with your smoke. Multiple lounge areas available so you wont feel like youre forced to socialize with others. Bonus was that it wasnt overly smokey inside. The ventilation system thats there is top notch. You wont be disappointed!

Was immediately greeted with a handshake as soon as I walked in the door. Staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about their inventory. Selection is great - not as large an inventory as Serious Cigars but still very formidable - and the lounge is beautiful. Lots of leather chairs with wood paneled walls and a big screen TV. Will be coming here again for sure.

Customers are the priority here. Owner is super knowledgeable, friendly and has insight for every cigar in the humidor. Casual atmosphere with good vibes. Highly recommended. Easily one of the best spots to grab a stick in Houston!

My recent visit was disappointing. First off, I was barely greeted with a hello from the person behind the counter, then as soon as I entered the humidor he felt it necessary to stand right next to me. When I asked about a particular cigar, he had no knowledge of what I was looking for a just pointed me to the area where the same company has other selections. I will not be back. I did purchase something but thought about walking out. I dont normally post reviews like this, however, the owner of the shop needs to know how it is represented. If the person behind the counter was the owner, then there is a real disconnect. I will never be back.

Heard about FFC while smoking w some other guys-great back story. Legend or rumor, has it that 2 veterans after working for a tobbaccoist who ONLY stocked what he liked got these two industrious employees to turn into entrepreneurs who decided that they could do what he did only better by catering to their clients. Thus, they left and FF was born.Now, for the not so good. Id say finding their location wasnt easy. Its in an older smaller strip mall, thats not well lit at night and could be missed depending on which route you take to get there. First, the name is not on the street sign listing all the businesses (see photo-use as a landmark to spot where you need to be from a busy Dairy Ashford). The name is directly above the entrance along the Dairy Ashford side. Again, please know it is difficult to see if youre not facing it properly or paying attention driving in traffic (its at the intersection of Whittington & S. Dairy Ashford). I missed it from the street & also standing right in front of the door know.I didnt take any interior pictures, because it was grown people being grown-therere pictures all ready posted of the interior by other reviewers.Parking is weird, it away from the bldg entrace to the far right along the Whittington side.The interior in basic, but the vibe is one of people of a certain age. The humidor was smaller than expected, but held several suprises, because its not about quantity with these guys, but variety. There was the high-end popular smokes, but to my surprise there were many, and I mean MANY affordable sticks Id never seen nor heard of before in any lounge/cigar shops I visited and Ive visited many looking for what FF pleasantly surprised me with-something completely DIFFERENT as far as new brands that no one else carries. The budget smoker in me had a ball, when I grabbed 9 sticks for $33. Finally SUCCESS finding a cigar lounge that doesnt hurt my wallet and offers me a lot of completely different selections-loving it.The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and not too obtrusive. I visited on a night they were having a event, with music, food and a live dj. So, it wasnt a subdued smoking lounge, but more nightclub/bar/lounge, but the regulars didnt seem to mind. My conclusion is never judge a book by its cover. I highly recommend Friendly Fire as a cigar lounge you should visit, if you want to have a low key dive bar blue collar cigar lounge smoking experience. It caters to a diverse clientle-so, its not Davidoffs-and it might not be for everyone at 1st blush. Ive seen other reviews that ding them on their humidor and I wouldve agreed, but Id say give them a chance. Its a downhome spot for the realistic budget concious cigar smoker. I know after walking out with my haul of brand new untried sticks for less than $35, I was pleased enough to say Ill be back.
