The employees were friendly, store was clean, atmosphere was good. We decided to stop here because it is on the way to the office. The coffee taste as if it for beginners who are just trying out coffee, I love coffee and I want to taste my coffee and not creamer. The coffee was way overly sweetened to where I couldn’t finish it because of the nasty flavor of just drinking sugar. I would try it again in a few months or so to see if they address this problem

This place is one I would go to when im at work and need food, the sausage egg and American cheese is one of my favorites. The coffee is good, it would be more towards the nutty coffee taste. I order the chocolate cappuccino and a iced vanilla latte, honestly taste really good, but I gave it a four cause I personally dont like nutty taste. very cozy woodsy vibe and quiet enough to study, im here at 9 to 10 am and its good time. Also they have restrooms and yes they are clean. Very good costumer service.

First time here and definitely not the last! Not only are the food and drinks bomb, but I absolutely love their customer service. They helped someone with very specific dietary needs with nothing but patience and kindness, I love that!

Pretty nice looking and clean inside, but underwhelmed by the overly sweet lattes (we got a hot SF mocha hazelnut and an iced SF French vanilla) and disappointed in the breakfast sandwiches that look like microwaved frozen sandwiches with prepackaged singles square cheese. They had just one person making all of the coffees for both drive-thru and in store. Three people in total working on a Saturday morning 9 AM in the front area. One for cashier of drive thru one for cashier in store and one person to make coffees. I was able to watch an entire hole played of the Pga championship between ordering and receiving coffees. We stopped here on our way from HTX to ATX and ended up throwing away the breakfast 20 min down the road at buc-ees and Upgraded to rhino tacos

The server did a great job explaining and answering my questions on the menu!Loved the coffee, I got a french press Costa Rica bean. Its a little pricey but Ill likely be back.The room was clean and I loved the ambiance of the place!

I had a craving for beignets and this place did not disappoint. Utilizing the drive-thru I only had to wait about 4 minutes for them to provide me with fresh hot pillowy dough bites fried to perfection and heavily dusted with powdered sugar. I would have provided a photo but we ate them too fast right there in the car.😋

Love the coffee and the the food just wish they either opened earlier or on time. Three times this week I tried to get my breakfast on the way to work and they werent even open yet at 6:05. Please open earlier so I dont have to rush to work after getting my order, I would love to come in and sit down to eat.

Fantastic coffee shop tucked away under Highway 6 with great French flavor and style. They stock scrumptious sandwiches and desserts as well as savory drink options. The interior is spread out and inviting, even for large groups. Highly recommend! 😁👍

Nice coffee house.Good drinks and tasty pastries, both well below the average price offered by other cafés.There is a long booth like seating along a side wall that spaces out four tables.Plenty of outlets, supporting both standard three-pronged and usb charging.They have a rewards system, but what’s unusual is that you have to fill out a small paper providing basic information, and then they’ll issue you a card. If I remember correctly I think the barista said it’s about 6% back in rewards for purchases made on drinks. Could be off 1 or 2 % points.Only gripe is the free wi-fi is terribly slow. I did a quick interned speed test and got a result of less than 1 Mbps down! And I had a strong signal. Full bars. Shocked to say the least.Aside from the Dialup like speeds, I’d highly recommend this coffee house.Drinks are cheap and tasty.Pastries look good, taste good, and are at a good price.Hope owners or management sees this review and considers upgrading the internet speed for guest.

The man who attended me at the counter today was awesome, and very professional. But this place needs a menu overhaul ASAP. It’s a simple black coffee place with a menu caught between the past and the present, with menu items on there that this place does not understand.The passion fruit boba is the worst I’ve ever had, with the passion fruit tasting more like over sweetened citrus and the pearls were tasteless in comparison. Also the place just has regular straws, so I couldn’t even try the drink normally, because the straw was getting blocked by the boba. Such an uncomfortable experience.I asked if chocolate croissants were available and they said they would make one for me, but that was a mistake. It was overfilled with chocolate syrup and the croissant just sort of melted apart. The place has a lovely ambience, and I’ve a feeling their coffee is probably great, but my experience with my items today was really disappointing.

You will never drink Star$$$$s again, coming from what used to be their biggest fan. Try this place just once and you will be hooked. Prices compare, taste exceeds!! Worlds best coffee shop! MUST TRY!! Staff is very friendly.

The food and drinks are delicious. I usually get the croissant sandwich and a La Freeze ( which is a blended ice coffee). Great place for a quick bite or snack!!! Customer service is excellent. We had signed up online for their rewards program, but they are not online yet and need to sign up at the restaurant. They were helpful and helped up sign up. Really enjoy this place.

The atmosphere is very warm and modern. The service was excellent. I was greeted by the staff and they were helpful and were able to answer all my questions. I was offered a sample of their daily brew, which was a nice touch!😊 I ordered the western omelette on wheat toast. I would have liked the toast a bit more toasted, but thats just my preference.I had the southern pecan coffee, which is wonderful. You smell the pecan and taste the nuttiness. Good value for the price I paid which was $8. They also offer rewards program, which is free to sign up for and they give you a loyalty card. Cant wait to use it and start earning rewards.

Service was great, very nice workers. My main issue with this place was the internet. There was four people in the shop and they all had to use their hotspot because they couldn’t connect. After approaching the one of the workers, his G.M said that they couldn’t reset the wifi because it was something wrong with my computer. I said okay no problem and restarted my computer to see if it was actually my computer, but it wasn’t. After asking them they couldn’t reset the wifi. They couldn’t. Long story short. It takes 30 seconds to reset a password. In my opinion I wouldn’t like to lose a customer like that. Coffee was good tho! Wouldn’t come back if it’s too hard to fix that issue.

My wife and I go there all the time. When the owner/manager makes an effort to get to know his customers, it makes a huge difference in service/experience. I can get coffee anywhere, but I can feel at home/among friends here.That said, the coffee is great and I appreciate them shifting up the menu every couple of months with new season flavors.

Love the serenity of the place. Way better than the crowdedness of Starbucks 🙄and amazing array of hot/cold beverages and small foods. OH and BEIGNETS !🤤🤤. Not to mention their restrooms are cleaner than Buc’cees!!😲 Definitely a good stop.

We were in Houston for the day and decided to drop by for a coffee. When we showed up, both batistas glanced at us with a smile of acknowledgement even while they were busy engaging with other clients.The girl who took our order today (you had short hair, sorry I didnt get your name!!) was awesome. She was so sweet, offered us a take-home menu to see the options a little better, and gave some great suggestions. I told her I wanted to be surprised, and my fiancé ordered one of her creations-- a cookies&cream/red velvet La Freeze.Both of our drinks are phenomenal, full of flavor and body. We both couldnt be happier. My surprise was their house pecan, iced, with a special touch. I cant remember what she said, but its delicious. B loved his La Freeze, which was a combination I would have never thought of.You cant go wrong here for a good cup of coffee, any way you like it. If youre feeling adventurous, let your barista know and give them some creative freedom. ❤

Really good coffee! The pastries were very fresh too. Much much better than Starbucks & the prices are the same so if it’s in your way just go through drive thru. Personally I would prefer a ceramic cup for dine in. Don’t like sitting down in a calm ambient environment drinking coffee in a paper cup.

I had the creme brulee latte and the wife had a southern pecan latte. Both were very good. She got beignet bites and I got the sausage egg cheese sandwich. Again, both were very good. I would recommend stopping by if youre in the area.

When we arrived the store was empty but after we ordered, 3 familys arrived. We watched as everyone else received their order, which was infuriating. When we did finally receive our order the food was cold and didnt taste good. It seemed like microwaved egg sandwichs. I wanted to like this place but I will not be returning.

I want to start off by saying i used to love this place, for their food and La Freezes but for the last few months its been subpar.When i go i normally get the same order, Mocha la freeze and always ask for the club.Before, i would be able to get it without any problem, but for the last 5+ months almost anytime i go they never stock their ham or turkey. Knowing pretty well thats a very common order as ive seen many others ask as i went aswell and be told they have no meat.The bigger thing is that most the time if not every time ive asked, if a specific worker is there, im always told they do not have any, ive also been told by said working when they first openet that they stopped selling food after 1.Which is false. But when said worker is not there, As far as i remember they always have the stock to make the clubs, im not sure if its the same way with other foods as i only ever really order the club.If it wasnt for the issue it could easily be 4+ stars but its gotten to the point of being told this so much now that i just wont be returning. The only reason im giving it a two stars at this point is the fact there La Freezes are great and a nice place for students to chill and do homework.

This place is wonderful! I love French press coffee, but I never have the time or patience to make it at home, so Im grateful for French Press! The service is great, they were patient with my indecisiveness. Besides the French press coffee which is a must have, I wanted something to eat, so I settled on the sausage, egg & cheese croissant (which they serve all day) & a red velvet cheesecake. The croissants are made fresh on site, they are flaky & soft, everything you would want... the sausage, egg & cheese were good, but the croissant was what made the sandwich! The cheesecake was perfectly balanced between cake & cheesecake, & I did not find it overly sweet like some tend to be. The shop itself is very open, plenty of different seating options, even some outside which is lovely this time of year! Great place to study, relax, or hang out with friends. I will definitely be back!

Great place not just for your morning cup of Joe ☕️ but the food is great as well! Always fresh to order. The southwestern omlete, and chicken salad are must haves! And you absolutely have to try the chocolate crinkle cookies! Everything is perfect about French Press, right down to the amazing, friendly staff members.

This was our first time to visit French Press Coffee House and we love it!! The girls working in there were so sweet and helpful!! We got a soup and salad combo of baked potato soup and Caesar salad!! It was all delicious!! And their selection of coffees and pastries is huge!! We got coffee, and it too is delish!! I highly recommend this place and plan on going back again soon!!

I just had most awesome experience I think I’ve ever had at a coffee shop.... I went through the drive through and as I pulled up I was greeted immediately and as I took a minute to look the menu over (ive never been here before) the sweetest voice on the other side of the voice box noticed my hesitation and encouraged me into divulging my preferences as we spoke ever so briefly about what she liked and was very knowledgeable in regards to her coffee choices describing the coffee in such a manner that Starbucks wishes they could do.... the coffee was phenomenal, the cups are insulated so no double cup needed, and you can tell that the sugar was stirred well(Starbucks dumps the sugar in and gives it a light stir and done, get down to the bottom of the cup and boom sugar rush and it all settles at the bottom). The sweet, sweet voice also recommended a sausage egg and cheese croissant that was as good as my mom makes them! Real eggs! Real cheese! Real sausage! Real flaky buttery croissant! It was a great breakfast! Will def come back and I will tell everyone about this place!It was a 5 star experience all the way.

This is a great independent coffee house. They have a variety of coffee drinks and you cant go wrong. The selection of pastries is always tempting. And the service is great. Friendly and fast. In my opinion, theyre far far better than the chain on every corner.

This is a fantastic alternative to the big S. Their coffee is available when they are open. This is unlike the other big place where the coffee that is dark French roast is no longer available after 11 am or 12 noon, except for non-brewed fashion. Furthermore, The French press method can be employed here to make your coffee. They make it strong. Love strong coffee. Lots of coffees brewed and ready if you are in a hurry They are reasonably good too. The food is good, with sandwiches and salads. The service sometimes seems a little bit awkward, but I think everybody is just learning their jobs. The owners are there to make sure the place is operating well and the people behind the counter know what they should be doing. Ive never seen such a well-stocked and well-maintained beverage case either. The wood tones of the surroundings, coupled with a non-cluttered feel give the place a nice ambiance. Going to be a favorite of mine for many years.

Love the coffee choices. Creme brulee is my favorite. Not overly sweet and pairs well with almond and soy milk. I always add a shot to the moyen (medium) and its flavor is strong but not so strong that it cancels out the creme brulee flavor. I used to go to Minuti because its literally right around from my house but the regular staff changed and sadly, so did the coffee. THIS place is consistent each time I go. I was in Austin for three months and when I came back, I headed here the next day to catch up with someone and the taste did not fail me! Glad I found this spot!!😁

This place has the best coffee in Houston! I’ve met both the owners, they’re so nice and welcoming. So many menu options for drinks, delicious pastries including vegan options! Amazing salads and wraps too. One stop for some coffee and bite to eat whether i’m studying for class or with friends. I prefer this place over any big coffee chain. Abundance of sugar free flavors! Wedding cake is delicious for all the health conscious. I recommend this place to everyone!

Checked out this new little gem last night. very nice coffee establishment. Very clean and the coffee drinks were very good. My wife had a cappuccino and I had a Banana Nut Latte. It was perfect. Great staff. They were very nice, helpful and talkative. Great new little hangout. Oh, and they will start selling wine in the next few days.

Oh man! This place is amazing. The coffee is great and the owners are friendly and helpful! We actually came by awhile after they were closed, they told us to come on in anyways. This is the best coffee house I have found near me in the Cypress area. You definitely need to try it!I love my coffee and religiously drink Pecan Coffee, fresh ground brewed in a pot and with my keurig. Today I got the Southern Pecan latte and it is the best latte I have found. They also have their own Southern Pecan personal french press pot that I cant wait to try!

Just tried this place for the first time. Love that they are still wearing mask and keeping things clean! Got some help from a sweet girl at the counter to find a tasty drink for me. I had an iced wedding cake with an extra espresso shot. Soooo tasty and not overly sweet like most flavored cold drinks at other shops. Also tried the cinnamon roll and hooooly molyyy so fluffy and creamy! Will definitely be back!

The WiFi is great, coffee good, and they have homemade baked goods available. Some cushioned seats or couches would be amazing. I ordered a turkey sandwich. Not much avocado, no condiment, and it had a strong fish taste.

I came inside this morning for my la freeze, they were very busy! I was glad to see Katie working on the bar she really is impressive working so quickly with a smile ALWAYS! I did notice she only had 1 espresso machine working making the morning more difficult on her, but she really makes it look easy. However the gentleman cashier was slower than other cashiers, but still friendly. See y’all tomorrow!

Showed up to the drive they today at 5:25 and was told by the employee that the store was closed. Hours on the door say 7pm and Google hours say 6pm. We drove 30 minutes to get here. Probably will not return.
