Micheal at LBX was exceptional at helping me get my chandelier up and running again! After a scary sizzling noise along with flittering light and then a dead chandelier, I called LBX Lighting. I was pleasantly surprised at the time Micheal, the owner, took to explain the basics of a chandelier light along with what he could have his electricians do to restore my chandelier. He left me with no doubt that they could fix it. He even rearranged his electricians schedule to work me in sooner than expected since I needed to leave town. Best of all, the wires were repaired quickly, the crystals were polished, and all of the light bulbs were upgraded to LED ones. The chandelier shines now like never before! I highly recommend LBX Lightings services.

Michael and the team at LBX were fabulous. We brought them a disassembled chandelier that belonged to my great grandpa, no instructions, just parts in a couple boxes. They worked quickly and with tremendous care to reassemble the chandelier, replacing all old wiring and other parts - they brought it back from the dead with tremendous care and expertise. Furthermore, they kept us super well-informed along the way, and we’re very reasonable with pricing. Their install crew was also amazing, getting the chandelier installed in under 30 min. I needed a spot light for my sign. The business is called the Hack and we have a big vinyl logo on our wall that needed to be illuminated for dramatic effect. First things first, Michael is a stand up guy and very nice as well as knowledgable. I was planning on shopping around but had no need to after talking to Michael, he knew what he was doing. Michael helped us out and did all the brain work to make sure it looked awesome and it does. He had the ideas and the plan which really made it a whole lot easier for us to do our business while he handled it. Faulty ornate chandelier needed attention and my wife found referral to LBX. Phone call led to advice and suitable arrangements for on site check out and then pick up. It was an unexpected but pleasant surprise to visit the LBX store. I needed to have a lamp repaired with the switch replaced. The gentleman who greeted my (the proprietor) took the lamp and proceeded to adjust the cord and complete the repair and assembly. I asked about the charge. He said, no charge. The whole transaction took about 10 minutes. While waiting, I noticed a gorgeous wooden statue of a horse--about 12 hands high. I asked about the horse and was told it was hand made. It was truly impressive. The only things more impressive than the horse were the owners professionalism and courtesy--not to mention the dazzling display of the large variety of lamps and lighting system. If I ever need a lamp, that is where I will get it.

LBX Lighting has been a delightful experience from shopping to installation. I did not find these particular fixtures anyplace else. Michael walked me through the correct fixture for the room size and provided some education on lightbulbs and impact on air conditioning and electricity load. The installation experience was excellent. The gentlemen who installed the lights we polite, competent and tidy. I will certainly be a return customer.

Mike and Dennis took great care of our family while we were in the showroom and helped us pick out two incredible chandeliers after a brief description of the spaces. In and out with 5 young kids in under an hour and on their schedule for install in about 10 days. 3 days later get a call saying theres a cancellation and they can come immediately. Luckily we were home and they were there within the hour. The incredibly clean and efficient team had both chandeliers hung and beautifying our spaces in under an hour. Dennis did a great job with helping me find parts for a chandler my wife had brought years ago. Three different lighting showrooms would not help me or would not call me back even when I had the part number and point of contact with the factory.Dennis called a couple of days later to follow up if my chandler was working correctly and told to me that if I had any other lights he would be willing to look at them to get them fixed. Years ago, Michael and his team updated lighting in main level of my custom home. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and displayed a keen understanding of lighting design. I learned that if you want lighting done correctly, you can’t rely on a builder or electrician, you must go to a lighting expert such as Michael and LBX.Last February, my master bath flooded due to a pipe break caused by the artic freeze. The ceiling collapsed, so I had to replace all the light cans installed by LBX. I assumed the contractor and his electricians could easily match the existing lights and trim but was sorely disappointed.After much consternation, I recently contacted LBX and asked if they get the trim that matched the rest of my house. I was pleasantly surprised to not only find they had it, but it was in stock, and they delivered fifteen trim sets to my residence the following day.Due to life’s diversions, I never found time to write a review for LBX; however, I am taking the time now to highly recommend them. The work they’ve previously done for me was excellent, they’re willingness to help their customers is greatly appreciated, and I have planned lighting projects that will go to LBX.

Gregarious is the word for Michael - interesting also. But he assured me my old desk lamp which needed rewiring & possibly ballast change would be handled as if he were working with a million dollar project. He never called that day as he said. A week later I called - no lamp found. Then found without tag or my name on it. This is by phone to the store manager - who would check it & call in 1/2 hr. Its 24-hrs later & I dont know if Ill see this lamp again, inherited from my father on his recent death. Where is personal responsibility and integrity here? I have to call again today.

Dennis helped me select new ceiling fans that required extended wiring that I could not find with fans from “Big Box” stores. The electricians who installed the fans did a great job. They had to come back with a face plate to complete the installation and that was done the next morning! I am very pleased and highly recommend!

I came in and knew exactly what I wanted. But It was a run around; constantly walking away from me and acting like I was in the way. I tried looking at the box and was shooed away, only to be told the feature I wanted was “optional”. Well it’s not optional for me. Can we not look at the box and see if the feature is there so that I can purchase it?A quick google search told me they were charging almost twice for the same item compared to others. Even the manager was saying it was less online from others then the price retailed in store.I’m not sure why anyone shops here it’s over priced and the customer service is rough.

I was not familiar with the store but I have a friend that works a few doors down. He suggested I take my broken lamp to LBX. I could not have been more pleased. They went out to my car and brought my lamp into the store and they had it completely fixed within 15 minutes and loaded it back carefully into the car. I was not even sure it could be fixed! Michael certainly was accommodating. I loved the merchandise I saw and plan to go back to the store to shop soon.

We purchased a Schonbek chandelier for our dining room. The sales rep, Denis, was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Because Schonbeks’ are individually manufactured it takes a while for delivery but it is worth the wait. The install technicians, Jose and Calvin, were excellent. They were genuinely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We were impressed with their efficiency and care in hanging the chandelier. They gave great attention to detail, even wearing latex gloves to avoid prints or oil on the crystals. The owner followed up with a call to insure all had gone well. I purchased a couple of outdoor lighting fixtures last year from LBX Lighting. LBX did a great job with all of our lighting needs. We placed two large orders with them. The first was during Covid. The shipping took a really long time. Dennis did an amazing job at keeping us updated and calling the company to try and firm up shipping dates. Their instal crew was very professional and did a great job at protecting my home. The second order - one of the fans would not program correctly. Dennis stayed on top of the job until everything was completed correctly. The few hiccups we had were things LBX could not control. Through all the long delays they stood by their word and saw the job through to the very end.

I needed to have my two chandeliers taken down because roof was being replaced & I wanted to protect them! I called a few places & Michael responded quickly and asked for address, pictures of chandeliers & date the work needed to be done! I texted him the info & behold the chandeliers I had bought at estate sale are from a top designer of chandeliers! Thankfully he was very knowledgeable & knew these needed special handling for transporting & would clean them while in the shop! I took a lighted makeup lamp which wouldnt turn on to LBX. After a short inspection, Michael found that the switch was just stuck ! It worked fine. He charged me nothing for his help. I truly appreciated his repair.

About 1.5 months ago my wife and I were shopping for crystal chandelier lights. We walked into LBX Lighting where we met Dennis, who walked us through their crystal chandelier showroom. He showed us some chandeliers with some high quality Swarovski crystals. Eventually, we asked Dennis to show us a 2-tier 33x66 empire crystal chandelier with Swarovski Spectra crystals from his catalogs and we got a quote for it. My wife and I really liked it but the price didnt meet our budget, so Dennis made some arrangements with Mike and met our budget. He was willing to make sure we were happy even if profit margins are slim.After 2.5 weeks, our chandelier frame and its crystals arrived at the store. I called Dennis to arrange for the 3 professional installers to come out and install it. They did a great job bracing the light mount, assembling the frame, hanging it up, and putting on the crystals with latex gloves.The two reasons Im giving LBX 4 stars is because I think there is room for improvement:1) I wish we had more calls on where our order was and when to schedule the installers. I had to initiate those phone calls after 2.5 weeks of silence2) the installers threw away our certificate of authenticity for the Swarovski Spectra crystalsOverall, it was a good buying experience from purchasing to installation!

My wife and I completely renovated our new home over the last ten months and went to LBX to shop for dozens of light fixtures and 40+ recessed LEDs. Sales personnel very friendly . I purchased about a dozen bulbs I couldnt find anyplace else. One bulb turned out to be defective so I returned to get a replacement. They replaced the defective bulb without hesitation and also gave me three additional bulbs at no charge. I was well satisfied to say the least. Great owner and staff!

We ordered all of our Crystal Chandeliers for LBX with Mike (Owner) for our new house back in January. B/C Of COVID-19 we got delayed until July on production, shipping and installation. During that time Mike still managed to keep us in the loop of everything and got us installed in a timely manner. His installation crew that had to drive 8 hrs to us and stayed for 3 days was so professional and prompt even with a few setbacks. We truly felt it was money well spent on such elegant Chandeliers. Will definitely come back for future purchases.

Now that our kids are gone, we sold the Bog House and downsized to our Forever Home which we needed to completely remodel. My Wife and I were cruising the Light Shops on Fondren and thought we new what we wanted to replace the fixture in the Foyer. from another shop. On the way home we saw LBX and stopped. As soon as we walked in we met Micheal who was extremely friendly and not pushy. We told him that we were looking to replace the fixture in the foyer and he introduce us to Dennis. After meeting and talking to Dennis, we decided to replace not only the fixture in the foyer but also the dinning room and the fixture over our pool table. The LBX Crew came out and all was installed with no issues or mess. However, I ordered the wrong size for the foyer and Michael said no problem, well make it right. Then the COVID situation arrived and delayed everything. Both Michael and Dennis were in constant communication and as soon as the correct fixture came in, the LBX Crew came out in complete protective gear and replace the fixture in less than 30 minutes. So instead of purchasing one fixture we bought three and the limited company weve had since theyve been installed have given us great complements. Michael, Dennis and the LBX Crew are all Professional and actually nice to work with. If I needed more fixtures, I wold go directly to LBX. David

Bought a large 36 lamp chandelier. Their total price beat the best price I could get for purchase on the Internet plus installation. Professional installers that know chandeliers. Will buy again from Michael.

I have a halogen desk lamp which is decades old. It stopped working. I tried replacing the bulb but still didnt work. Took it to a repair shop where I was told it was probably a burned out transformer, parts were impossible to get, etc. They suggested I try LBX. Busy, crowded place. Obviously a lot going on. The owner took a look and handed the lamp to a technician and told him to see what he could do. Five minutes later the technician is back with the lamp working! Turned out I had bought the wrong replacement bulb. The owner could have made up a story, kept the lamp for a week, billed me for parts (you know it happens), etc. Charged me pocket change. Prompt, honest, friendly service. Prices look fair just glancing around the shop. As the Terminator said, Ill be back!

I had damaged a floor lamp and searched for a lighting store who did repairs. Not only did the showroom manager Dennis take an interest immediately the lamp was repaired in iess than 30 minutes! Plus the showroom is exquisite! Thank you so much for the experience!

I went in the store looking for a low wattage bulb. Even though I only needed one, Mr. Eftekhar took the time to understand exactly why it was needed and provided a few options. What impressed me the most was his willingness to help and honesty. It didn’t seem to matter to him that I was only spending a few dollars. He wanted to make sure my needs as a customer were met and even provided an extra bulb for free. Thank you!

Let’s say this is a review well deserved, as i never write reviews. Lbx lighting is obviously the best lighting company in TEXAS, yes I said Texas, because Michael, combined with his elegant taste of the most beautiful collection has perfected his customer service skills. We got every single light in our household from Lbx and the process was extremely smooth. Even though we had a some delay in the arrival of our entry way light, Michael and Denise communicated each and every step and made it less stressful for us. Every time we went into the store, we felt special and that is how every customer should feel. We will forever be grateful to the Lbx team, everyone that walks into our house wants to know where we bought our lights. I could be difficult client sometimes but thanks for people like Michael who have mastered their jobs lol. And he did not charge us for the several days it took for installation. This store is a rare treat! I searched everywhere in Houston for an unusual bulb for my office lamp....NO other lighting store in town carried it, so a competitor recommended LBX Lighting to me on Fondren. What a fabulous place! Not only do they have excellent customer service; they carried the bulb I needed at a great price, Michael even installed it for me. The store is a DESIGNERS delight! Not only are there so many, unique lighting options, but also great custom pieces for your home any designer would want in their own showroom. The owner is a doll...so helpful and even gave me a CD of his piano music, his other passion! For you horse lovers with money, looking for a rare, one of a kind piece... he has the most exquisite full size, handmade wooden horse made by an artist in Spain. It is worth a stop just to see it! Designers do come by this store...it does not disappoint! Everyone is so helpful and friendly too!I it was my pleasure doing business with you!

The overall experience at LBX Lighting was awesome! The selection of lights and prices were much better than some of the other lighting stores in the SW area. Micheal, the owner, was very friendly and helpful in finding the right chandelier for my parents dining room. It was in their budget and he had it installed the very next morning. I would definitely go back there to buy more lights.

This an amazing lighting store with a wonderful variety of lighting choices. If you are lucky you might hear piano playing. Michael is an accomplished composer and his music his beautiful. We are very fortunate to have found this store. We have just recently moved to Houston.

We have NEVER had such an outstanding shopping experience! We stopped in hoping to find a replacement for a broken cover on our halogen lamp fixture. Michael, the owner / president of the company actually took a part off a display and gave us the lamp cover from it. A gift, he says. THEN as our conversation went from one thing to another, we ended up at his beautiful piano and he played us a couple of songs he had composed himself! Incredible!! BEYOND good customer service. I guarantee you, you wont get this kind of shopping experience at Amazon! Do yourself a favor and go see Michael.

I bought a number of light fixtures from LBX when we were remodeling our home in 2006 - recessed, under cabinet, low voltage, etc. I did the install myself and Mike and crew were very helpful with suggestions. 13 years later I brought back 2 recessed fixtures that had stopped working - Mike sold be the parts to repair the fixtures, and after about 30 minutes labor we were back to 100%. Excellent service and lots of inventory!

Michael solved a technical problem we had in two minutes! Had just what we needed. Very helpful! And then we were treated to a personal piano concert that we REALLY enjoyed! He is a friendly businessman and a talented musician!

My husband and I were tired of replacing the ceiling fans in our home from the local hardware store where the quality of the products are questionable at best. My husband searched and found LBX Lighting. The hospitality in the store is amazing. Michael and his staff are very warm and welcoming. Michael set us at his table with several ceiling fan catalogs, drinks and cookies to search for what we exactly wanted. Order placed we went away happy and excited to receive the 3 new fans we were replacing. Unfortunately for Michael, Im that customer where if anything can go wrong it will. We had to order a 3 foot drop down rod for our great room ceiling fan, the rod did not arrive with the ceiling fans. Long story short, after Michael making several angry phone calls to the fan distributor and apparently a blizzard that delayed shipping of the down rod, 3 weeks later the fans, drop down rod and light bulbs were deliver to our home. And the light bulbs were not the right bulbs. Michael was very gracious and apologetic for the mistake and to make it more than right I received the bulbs we paid for plus a total of 9 additional LED light bulbs at no additional cost to me for the bulbs or the shipping. I highly recommend LBX Lighting! Thank you Michael for everything you have done!

Mike is the greatest. He opened the store for us on a Sunday, allowed us to shop while he waited patiently. He is also a man of his word. The lamps we bought didnt work for the space we had in mind. As promised, he took them back and gave us a full refund no questions asked. We will definitely return for our other projects.

I came in the store to have 3 very old crystal lamps rewired and updated. I came in and dropped off in the late morning, and by late afternoon, they were completed. The LBX Lighting showroom has a great selection and we found a fantastic chandelier for our foyer. Michael took the time to describe the differences in crystals and even the light bulbs that would be used. He made us a great deal and even threw in custom painting of the light bulb bases and a dimmer switch. The electricians arrived on schedule and were very courteous and careful in hanging the chandelier. Highly recommended!

Five months ago, we had never been in LBX before. We went in there on a Saturday. Mike & his staff were so attentive in helping us pick just the right lights. We were offered a glass of wine right away....if was very fun shopping there. They have so many beautiful lights to choose from. He said he would beat any price from anywhere else. My partner & I bought 4 pendant lights from Mike.Once our contractor put the lights up, there was one that had a scratch on it. I called Mike & he contacted the manufacturer. They said it would be a couple of months before they could send one. Even though it took a little longer, Mike let us know each time he followed up with them on the progress of where we stood. We will definitely buy any lights needed in the future from LBX. I highly recommend making your light purchases from them. You will have the best service hands down.

LBX Lighting is the absolute best!!! I purchased two stunning chandeliers and Mike (the owner) allowed me to set up a payment plan. It took me 2 years to finish paying for my chandeliers. I tried to make sure to at least send a payment once a month but Mike was always cool and excited to see us when we came in. Not once did he call and hound us for a payment he was always understanding. I finally finished paying off my chandeliers at the beginning of this month. I called Mike, he ordered my chandeliers and they were installed within 2 weeks. Very professional and prompt throughout this entire experience. Needless to say, Mike treated us like FAMILY! He was very patient with us and I recommend LBX Lighting in a heartbeat. Not to mention my chandeliers are the talk of my neighborhood. Very positive experience! We were looking for high quality, reasonably priced lighting for our home, which was being remodeled post Harvey. LBX exceeded our expectations on all counts. We had an awesome experience at LBX Lighting. My wife and I stopped in and she found the light fixture she could not live without. Every team member in the store was very nice. We purchased the light and they came out and installed it on a Saturday. The installer did a great job. After the light was installed we had some work done to the ceiling around the light. The contractor that we hired damaged the base on the light fixture. I had a business card of Michael and sent a text at 9pm on Friday with a photo of the damage. I had an immediate response back that they would be in contact with the manufacture on the following Monday.LBX spoke with the manufacture regarding what happen regarding the base being damaged by another contractor. LBX was able to have the manufacture ship a base at no charge. If the manufacture would have charged it would have been $400.00 plus $200.00 for the licensed election to make the change. We appreciate that LBX saved us $600.00. It was very kind of LBX not to charge us for the change out since it was not their fault.This was a delightful experience working with the LBX team. We will recommend them to all of our friends and use them for future lighting needs.

LBX Lighting, Inc is the bomb! Walked into the showroom just to look. Found a chandelier I liked but it was to large for my area. Michael offered to order the smaller version and if I wasn’t totally happy he would give me a full refund. The chandelier came in damaged from the manufacturer. I returned it and when the new one arrived, Michael sent his electricians to my house to install. They were quick and efficient. Love the chandelier!!! Love LBX Lightening!!! The lbx lighting team was fantastic from the moment I walked in the door. I was initially in the store with my small daughter. Michael and his staff were very patient with her and even entertained her in the area of their store with books and toys so that I could enjoy walking around looking at their unique selection. After shopping at MANY lighting vendors, I returned to LBX lighting as I found their pieces most unique and brilliant. Michael made me a great deal on several chandeliers and even had his electrician come and hang them. The electrician was timely, efficient and professional. He took the time to show me various heights for the lights he was hanging so I could make sure they were perfect. Furthermore, after he had left, I got a call from LBX lighting reporting that the electrician noted 1 of my fixtures was missing a crystal! I had not even noticed. The whole team was SO honest and they mailed me the missing crystal which was easy to place. I could not possibly have had a better experience than LBX lighting. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for high end fixtures.

I was in the middle of a porch rebuild project and wasnt very happy with what the contractor was planning to do regarding the lights, so I searched for someone to help me get what I wanted exactly. I found LBX Lighting online and was impressed with the amount of good reviews they had. I called and spoke with Mike (the owner) for a bit, and he invited me to come in to talk to him as I had a specific fixture that I wanted in mind.I came in and noticed Mike treated each customer as if they were family. I shared a few pictures of what I had in mind and the dimensions of my porch and he immediately sketched out what I needed to do for my porch. We then discussed priced and he gave me a discount on the fixtures as well.We scheduled a date of when his electricians would come out and on the day, I got a call confirming my appointment. The guys came out and were very professional. They also made sure they spoke with me about certain details to make sure I was happy with the way they were planning to install before they did it which I appreciate.They finished without a problem, and when I turned my lights on for the first time at night, the lighting and the porch looked exactly how I had envisioned.I would recommend Mike and his team and will not hesitate to go back to them if I had any more lighting needs.
