I recently had to have my Brother sewing machine cleaned and serviced. The staff was very helpful in making suggestions for cleaning and service in the future. I also was given a demonstration on a new Brother machine that I had inquired about. The staff was very knowledgeable and I did buy a new Brother complete with a date for a personal one-on-one class to learn about the new machine. I am more than pleased with their service.

For years I have driven past the Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse near Willowbrook in Houston, TX. I only thought it to be a machine sales and service location. However, a friend told me about their incredible array of quilting fabrics and lets just say, Im hooked! The fabrics are top quality and the color choices are phenomenal! This would be enough to bring me back over and over, but the incredible staff of helpful women, are knowledgeable, talented, and very patient! They each have assisted me with particular projects! I purchased a travel size sewing machine for quilting with guidance from Brenda. Diane helped me think through the placement of some specific boarder pieces on a very intense quilt project. I learned some very helpful lessons from her that day! Judy isnt afraid to weigh in with a vote for a particular fabric when Im stuck in my decision making process.After quilting for decades, this has become my all time favorite quilt fabric store!

Just got my embroidery machine today. Loved the staff, everyone is so nice! They helped me choose the right machine, gave me a demo of how to use the machine, and helped me get approved for financing! Overall, I love the staff, they made me feel so comfortable as soon as I stepped in the store.

The Conroe location is my go-to store for designer name quality fabric. The entire staff is experienced and knowledgable, and FUN! They also have a great sewing machine repair department. Their store hours are good for people like myself who are employed. Janice is very helpful and always enjoys seeing what you are making. We are lucky to have this location for us in Conroe.

Took my simplicity Vaccum to replace the beltthey took there sweet time in finding two belt no packing just lose belts asked them to make sure that if it is the correct belt the woman demanded $10 to install the belt the cost of the seven dollars the beltsI said I can do it myself at home I tried to install the belt but could not too rigid no flexibility then I took my Vaccum to another shop that guy tried to install the same belt could not then he replaced with his own belt for two dollars and cleaned vacuum replaced with new bag which I purchased from himsewing and vacuum are bunch of cheaters and liars wasted my time refusing to take belts which did fit no elasticity on the phone he said to bring them belts to there store for refund

Ive purchased yet another sewing machine at the 249 store and I absolutely cannot recommend them enough. If you are in the market for a new machine, or if you need accessories or service, you should absolutely stop into the store. The staff is fantastic and so willing to help. The machine tech manager, Paul, is great. I had a couple of problems with my larger Janome machine and he has always been so quick to have a look at my machine and get the issue resolved so I could get bak to sewing ASAP. Joseph, Lauren and Brenda are top-notch and great to work with! I love that I can always pop in with a question or if I need any tech help! They also have a wonderful fabric section on the side with a great selection of quilting cotton and notions. :)

I recently purchased a sewing/embroidery machine from Sewing & Vacuum. The sales staff were very helpful and obviously knew their products well. Elizbeth and Brenda were very patient about answering my questions and they took time to explain the features of each machine I was looking at. I went to Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse to take my cheap Walmart sewing machine in because it wasnt working correctly. Ive been wanting a new machine for quite some time because my hobby is quilting. I spoke with Lauren about my old machine and what was wrong with it. She told me they could do work on it. I told her I was interested in maybe a new machine since mine didnt work so well for my hobby. She asked me what I wanted out of a machine. She was super knowledgeable about what each machine did,price and stock. She took great care of me and I walked out with the best machine for my needs and proceeded range. There was no hard selling. Amazing customer service! I was in the market for an embroidery machine. Pam took the time to answer all my questions to get started with embroidery. When the box didnt fit in the car, even after they were closed for the evening a few of the employees took the time to unbox my machine and place it in the car for me, to get it home safely.

Looks like a great place for fabrics and higher end sewing machines. Vacuum cleaner repair-- not so much. The man who diagnosed the problem with mine said the part (an internal hose assembly) was no longer available and that I was missing another hose as well. I went home and looked up the parts. Both were available. I took the vacuum to the Dyson service center; there was no missing hose and they repaired it in less than 2 hours. No brainer on where Ill go if it breaks down again.

It was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. I know it was the owner that helped me. He was kind and understanding. I walked in with tears and out with a nice new vacuum and new perspective.I had been in since. My great aunt, who taught me to sew, gifted me all her sewing things. They helped me sort it all out.This last time, my husband took me in before Christmas. I did not want to go because I was going to see all the things I wanted but could not afford to have. Justin helped my husband. He was just the right person too. I ended up with my dream craft room and a no interest payment plan to boot.

Ive been going to Sewing Warehouse for at least 10 years now. I take my Elna for annual servicing and as-needed repairs. Im always impressed with how quickly someone helps me, how knowledgeable any and all of them are, and how tactful and gracious they are when - as usual - the problem with my Elna machine isnt the machine but the user. Ive been to the fabric side of the shop several times and the same praise goes to their staff. Always helpful and patient. Love their fabric and sewing accessories selection.

We’re so rude and not willing to help. I think because I’m young (which the associated pointed out very snarky) I was treated completely different than anyone else in the store...I was told that my machine was junk.

My experience with purchasing a sewing machine from Sew Vac Warehouse was overall positive but I do think that I can offer a few points if you intend to shop there that will help you know what to expect and how prepared to be. The employees were friendly and did not pressure me to make a purchase which is primarily why I would go there again. Their annual service program has many advantages and is a great incentive to spend a little money to protect your investment for the long term.This store is a high-volume Janome dealer and all the employees that I asked sew with Janome machines. Because of that, the employees dont know as much about other machines they carry. I had watched a few YouTube videos about the machines that I was interested in, so I definitely was more informed on the features and differences between the models. (Note to manager: this could be effective and free training... have employees watch some YouTube reviews for each machine on your floor!) I went in asking questions about the Juki machines and a Brother machine that they did not have in stock and told them I was looking at these machines because I wanted a high speed straight stitch machine for quilting that was around a certain budget. They immediately steered me towards a Janome which was a lovely machine but $500 over my budget and would have required another $250 of accessories for quilting.As I continued to look at the other machines, the staff was very friendly and provided material and sample quilt sandwich to test out the machines. They were willing to move machines around to give me more room to try them out. They also brought the machine manuals out which was helpful for me but probably more of a necessity for them since they couldnt answer some of my questions about features and didnt have any knowledge of which accessories came with each machine. It would have been nice for them to have more knowledge but I at least appreciate that they were willing to pull out the manuals to answer my questions vs guessing. At the same time while they were helping me, they didnt hover too much, and didnt put me under pressure to purchase. They explained their warranty program where if you bring your machine back for service every year they extend the warranty, give you better trade-in value, and also give you priority on service turnaround timing.Once I made a decision on a purchase, I realized that they didnt have all of the machines in stock. They said they could sell me a floor machine but that they dont offer a discount on the floor machines. I was not willing to spend full price and get a used machine. My other concern with a floor machine is that it wasnt clear to me what maintenance the floor machines receive. The reason I was concerned is that one of the people who helped me was from the service department. I had asked him about oiling the machines and he said to read the manual but that they really dont need oil and opening the machine would void the warranty. I asked werent the holes in the machine the oil ports so you dont have to open it and he said he didnt think so. I knew his answer was wrong because of the YouTube videos I had watched explained the oil ports and when I checked the manual they had brought out it said to oil the machine once a day if you sew every day. My concern with purchasing a floor model is that if their own service dept doesnt know how to maintain the machines then they probably arent maintaining floor models.Again, overall I had a very positive experience and would shop there again but definitely recommend that shoppers do their research first so that theyre knowledgeable about features and differences. The bonus of shopping here, besides the service advantages to the warranty program, are the fabric and notions store attached to it which also had very friendly staff, a great selection, and efficient service. ALSO they offer really competitively priced longarm pantograph quilting completed in store on a great turnaround timing.

She knows all about the quality of the machine and the manufacturing as well as how to use it. I traded in my old machine...very old and got $50 dollars for it. I am signing up for quilting classes and my free lesson on using the machine.

Not a happy camper. I was sold and Brothers ScanNCut 225 based on the premise that the machine could read my PES file since I have the brothers dreamweaver 6200. Once you buy an equipment good luck on getting any assistance. The company owns two locations (Ken Carpenter) but you can only get trained where you purchased the equipment. BUYER BE AWARE... DO NOT SPEND MONEY here AT ALL. They DO NOT CARE about you the customer once the sale is made. Ms. Fletcher

5 Star Service - I recently had my sewing machine break, so I brought it to Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse for repair. They took my machine in and charged a very reasonable $40 to look it over and tell me what was going on with it. I spoke with Ken, the man repairing my machine, and we discussed my options. The nice thing was that I could use the $40 towards the repair, or towards a different machine. Since repairing my machine would be almost as much as getting a new one, I opted for getting a new machine. Cynthia was the salesperson who helped with this. She took a lot of time figuring out exactly what I use my machine for, and pointed me in the right direction. She also patiently answered ALL of my questions and showed me each of the various machines I was interested in. They have a great big, well lit showroom, with lots of machines to kick the tires. Very shopper friendly. I will shop here again, and am thrilled with the level of service that I have received! Great Job!

I was finally at a point where I was ready to upgrade from my VERY old Kenmore sewing machine. Lee was a tremendous help. He pointed out all the features of the brands they carried, but recommended a Janome based on my sewing needs. I asked him a million questions, and he wasnt fazed one bit; Lee was extremely knowledgeable. I honestly feel like I got a great machine at a fair price.

I recently purchased a Janome embroidery machine and an Elna sewing machine. They were extremely helpful in showing me how to set up my machines and get started. They offered a class on each machine which was very beneficial. Brenda is a great teacher. Each time I have been back in with a question, they are more than willing to take the time to explain what I need to know. I would highly recommend this business.

I LOVE this place. Originally purchased my machine at another store, which closed down a couple of years ago, so S&VW became my new sewing home. Wish I had discovered them sooner! Had my machine serviced there recently and was impressed at the quality of work and the speed in turnaround. My favorite thing about S&VW, though, is all the STUFF I can get for my machine! They have great thread that is shockingly less expensive than the stuff you get at Joann (and I think its better quality, too). And when I knick my bobbin case, I can pick one up that day vs. waiting a week to have one come in the mail. That is gold to me. Bottom line -- friendly folks, great selection, quality service. And, oh, the selection of machines they have in the showroom to try out!!! I have a feeling Ill be trading up soon. ;)

Visited the Saturday before Mothers Day, with my wife, hoping to replace her old machine that was doing more harm than good to her projects. The salesman, Lee, was extremely helpful, patiently demonstrated several machines, and answered a ton of questions. Lee seemed very knowledgeable about sewing in general, and about the various machines in the shop. No high pressure tactics, and gave us plenty of space to look and try things out by ourselves. We ended up making a purchase that I believe my wife will be very happy with. I recommend this shop.

While I was doing some alterations to my childrens clothing, my sewing machine was doing funny things. I called to ask for a price for a repair. The guy who answered the call was nice enough to tell me what to do to fix the sewing machine. Obviously it was a very simple fix, but I dont know that. The honesty of the business was much appreciated by me. Its hard to find service business with true honesty and care. I will definitely use them in near future, and recommend them to anyone!

The folks at both locations are very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was allowed to come and look and test drive the machines many times and they always treated me very kind. They were sweet enough to guide my husband to the machine I wanted for my Mothers Day surprise. I am already a repeat customer and I plan to return to purchase sewing furniture.

I originally came into this store just to look at the sewing machines but quickly ended up buying one because their deals were just absolutely unbeatable. as I walked into the store, I was promptly greeted and assisted by one of the employees. I let her know that I was a beginner and she walked me through all the different models and even showed me how to use/thread the machines. I ended up getting a Janome Magnolia for $100 less than what its going for USED on Amazon. upon purchase, they put my name into their system to keep track of what machine Im using so they can easily assist me with compatible accessories for my next visit. My experience here was enjoyable and I recommend it to anybody looking for a new machine, accessories, or even fabric because they sell that too!

I wanted a high quality quilting machine that could also handle apparel sewing, as we do both in my family. The S&VW website had great deals that we couldnt match anywhere else, and theyre close by, which is great when you have questions or need help. I was helped right away by a staffer who gave me a full demonstration of the machine I was interested in, who gave me her full attention and answered all my questions in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. I got a great deal on a fantastic machine that we are all very happy with. When I returned a couple of weeks later to look at the fabric options and the longarm panto rental services, I was again helped by different people who were friendly and dedicated. Excellent service and this shop will be my go-to for any accessories and new purchases!

Lee was so helpful and informative, I drove an hour out of my way to their store to purchase supplies and get my machine serviced. I will happily do this from now on just to deal with the great people in this store!

Very friendly and kind. Couldnt be happier. Lee is very knowledgeable about the machine I was interested in purchasing. If he didnt know the answer he quickly found it. Cant beat the prices on machine, accessories, and fabrics. WOW!

Went in looking for a machine that was reliable and durable. With Lees help I found the perfect machine. I was in the store nearly two hours sewing on this machine, having questions about that machine, comparing those machines until I found the ONE! Lee was kind, helpful and never pushy to sell me something I didnt want or that was outside of my budget.This is my new FAVORITE store!!

I walked in to the store knowing what I wanted a machine to do, but had no idea what I needed. Lee listened to everything then directed me to the perfect fit. When the price was a bit out of range, he was able to find a refurbished one for me! The minimal cost layaway plan was just what I needed to seal the deal! The free lesson was worth the wait. Every time I go into the store, I feel like the staff there is my support team... and that is exactly how they want you to feel!...so refreshing! I was given an older embroidery machine and knew nothing about it. I found everything I need to do embroidery and have received knowledgeable help and answers to any of my questions. It is really nice to have one place to get all of my embroidery needs.

DONT SHOP HERE ! - Bought a package of two Vacuum Cleaner Belts which didnt fit. THe Clerk said noo problem just return if they dont fit. Went back a day later to return and they showed me where they say NO RETURNS - WHat kind of Business does that ? Now Im out $18 with 2 Vacuum Belts I cant use. NEVER go back - WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS DOES NOT TAKE RETURNS ??? BAD BUSINESS - and to think I was about to buy a Sewing Machine there !

Great store close to home. The staff is friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. I just purchased a new Janome sewing machine from Lee. Their selection is great, and I was able to find a machine to fit my sewing needs for a long time. I will return for both home and work for all my sewing and vacuum machines.

This is not your average warehouse. This location was very clean and neat with a large variety of machines. I was pleasantly surprised by the fabrics that are available! I highly recommend this location there anyone in the sewing field.

I just purchase a Jonome New Home DC2015 from them and I LOVE IT! I am so happy with the machine and I cant wait to make all kinds of things. Ive already made a few things in the first week of owning it.
