I have used Stewart door in my current garage and my last one. I find their service to be very good. Pricing is more than fair. The guys are as down to earth as can be. I love not using a “big box” and supporting this trustworthy local business! Thank you Stewart Door Ltd.

Stewart door limited installed both gate opener and garage opener for my house in 2017. I did not have any issues in the past 3.5 years. Recently one side of the gate opener cannot close to its original position. I call Stewart and they sent a technician in a hour and fixed it without charge. It was so hot outside (95 degf) and the technician did a very professional job and service to adjust the gate opener to its best condition. Now it works in a perfect condition again!

Job well done. Works like it’s supposed to. 4 stars because I called a few weeks ago to make an appointment between 8am-9am and when I called at 930am, I was told I wasn’t on the books but they quickly corrected it and sent someone within an hour.

DO NOT use these folks. They are contracting cheap labor and very incompetent people. Very poor customer service. Very arrogant folks. They charged me for a very very poorly done work and had to get DR Garage Door to do a better job. DR. Garage had to undo everything they did.Craig was very rude defending their employee even after sending pictures showing very unprofessional job done. I don’t know how Highland homes contracted them to install garage doors for them.Worst company!

After more than 20 years @ the same house, Stewart Doors (and especially Ed, the tech,) have been efficient, knowledgeable and responsive.Weve been through several hurricanes, floods, power failures and customer errors ... quick and lasting results every time.Unfortunately, Im not surprised by the few negative reviews from the few disgruntled customers who are quick to blame Stewarts service for product defects/warranty limitations, builders buck passing. or the homeowners own ignorance, lack of common sense or sloth.My 14 year-old kid and my 60 year-old wife can manually open the gate in less than 5 minutes, if necessary. Both are aware that there are real problems in life - far more important than any minor inconvenience suffered by petulant and spoiled brats.Mike StantonBellaire, TX

This company installed a new garage door operator and it stopped functioning properly after 2 weeks. They proceeded to come back out to repair and let themselves into my garage without my knowledge. I would recommend finding another company that will not violate your space.

Would suggest you consider not using this supplier. We just purchased a new garage door opener from them, which we paid to have installed. Having an issue connecting to the HomeLink in my wifes car. Called to get help and got nothing. They dont assist customers with this issue at all. My car worked fine, my wifes had a problem....no help! The garage door was purchased from them and this is the third opener. No help at all.

They dont carry stock for most of spare parts ... do call before visit.

I would have liked a sooner service appointment or a 24 hour answering service. My garage door spring broke and I was unable to get my car out for 2 days. Manuel came out this morning and fixed it. No surprise costs and he was fast and friendly/professional.

Bad business. Bad customer service. They bait and switched me. Said parts will be covered under warranty and I only had to pay for labour. When the guy came they only half fixed the problem. They wanted me to pay for the torsion spring (which they did not bring so they can charge me an extra trip charge!). Moreover I had called them twice to fix the garage door when under warranty and they said there was no problem. Now that it is out of warranty they saw the problem. Never do business with them! all 5 starts are phony. The real ones have the story behind it.

Had a great experience on two different days. Showed up on time, fixed things when they could have try to sell me a new unit and saved me money. The techs were both very nice.

Today is the second day in a row this place has “promised” to come by to repair my new garage door they installed. My future garage door use is now a concern. Even if they ever show up, seems like this will be an ongoing problem. How rude to waste my time 2 days now, not even calling!Shame on them! No, cannot recommend this type of non service!

Having done business with Stewart Doors in the house building industry for 25. years I can say they were my first choice. Quality doors, installation and customer service/warranty were always dependable. I chose them for my own home.

Very Bad Customer Service. Quoted 2 different prices for the same job. What kind of business does that?

DO NOT use these people. My builder used them to install our door and their door failed within TEN months!!! When we tried to get the builder to fix it (under warranty) they refused saying we didn’t “lube” the rails which they never told us before. I have never lived in a home where a door must be lubed and my doors have been operating for decades. If you use these guys may god help you.

They DO NOT SELL PARTS TO PUBLIC. They have to install them. Oh well!

I called them because they were referred by our home builder. Customer Service was really bad. The guy that I talked to seems like he doesnt like his job. Very rude and annoyed by my questions.
