I went to other hard ware stores in the Houston but this is the only store I been to where the staff was helpful and friendly. This places has everything you will need, I dont bother going to home depot anymore cause they never have anything in stock anyway. Go to Ace if you want great service!

I like this Ace Hardware store on Telephone Road. The store is staffed with friendly and helpful associates. I went in to browse and look at string trimmers. I was greeted when I walked in.They offer a sharpening service (see photo). There is a propane tank refueling station. You can have keys made. They have a nice line of Stihl power tools.This hardware store lives up to the Ace advertising jingo.

I use this place a lot. The staff here is always helpful and friendly. They always have just what I need with very rare exceptions.

Almost always have good service and a good experience. The mgr is very helpful. Once he opened the tool cage for me when I had to grab a recip saw right before they closed. Im a fan for life

Another Local Houston Gem! This store is hidden within the South Houston Community. They have Awesome pricing for building materials and they even Cut Glass!

Very horrible service. The very unprofessional white girl and the male deutsch Bag that were at the back registrar were very rude. I was trying to purchase 2 pieces of glass for a kitchen cabinet that I built. When I told them the size that I needed they just frowned their faces because the size was too small supposedly and told me to go somewhere else. Then I asked them where I could get the 2 pieces of glass and they completely ignored me. So I asked the other Hispanic guy that was working there, he explained to me that they didnt carry tempered glass (white girl & deutsch Bag did not explained to me), and he gave me an address of I could go and get the glass that I needed. But those 2 that were at the back registrar were very unprofessional and rude.

The prices are unbeatable when youre talking about an expensive hardware store, its closed on Sundays wich ironically its when most people work on their DIY projects at home 👎🤦‍♂️.The staff its alright, not the sharpest knives in the drawer .But I guess theres no other choice, its either that or make a 2 hrs trip to home depot because of the long lines at the register. 🤷‍♂️

Great people exelent help very professional employees

It was the middle of the crazy freeze we had and of course pipe were bursting All Over Texas with no electricity and no water and all the things that we take for granted. The people at Ace Hardware were kind and even though there was a line to come in they didnt let you stay in line without explaining what was available and what was not! That showed they appreciated not your business but your time to stand in line!

This is a pretty well stocked pseudo industrial Ace. They have a pretty large inventory. I can usually find what I need here but not always for home goods.

Everyone is so helpful, I would definitely go back and shop for all my hardware necessities 😊

The store is always clean and well organized. Excellent stop for nuts, bolts, screws, nails, hooks, glues, etc. Tools, not big on lumber but easy to grab what you need and get you back to your project.

This is perhaps the rudest store I’ve ever been in. Stay away the owners are rude the employees are rude. Presently they will not let you exchange or return anything with the excuse to the COVID-19.For as long as I can remember they will not allow you to use the restroom.

This is the best hardware store ever! It reminds me of the old world neighborhood hardware stores; they have everything! Best part about this store is the staff! They are helpful, knowledgeable and funny! If you need to fix the whats-em-a-call-it or the doohickey, go talk with BB - her passion for everything fixable is palpable and her knowledge is superior! What I really like is that they do not try to sell you stuff! No Pressure!Prices are higher than in those box stores, but I want to get the service, knowledge and ideas ACE staff give. I actually look for stuff that is malfunctioning, so I can go to my favorite ACE!

Very rude! I called last week about getting my car key cut! They told me 39.99 and when I called a week later, a lady named Brenda told me 79.99 and gave me a very bad attitude and she was manager . I went to another ace hardware in Pearland and they charged me only $5 to cut my key! And they had very great service! Looks to me like brenda needs to be replaced!!

I fixed my own bathroom sink stopper! It was a bit more complicated than I thought but the man in plumbing area patiently showed me the parts I needed and showed me how to undo the p-trap from sink. I went back thinking I needed a second part but the same man gave me the same demonstration, then I realized what I did wrong. Went back home and fixed my sink for under $20.00. GREAT SERVICE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE ON HOW YOU ENCOURAGED ME THAT IT WAS EASY TO FIX.

The racist reviews are probably from a disgruntled customer looking for a reason to shame this store because from my experience, this store is very diverse with its employees so I dont exactly know how they could be racist. They are also very helpful and will walk with you when you need help looking for something rather than just pointing to an aisle.

This place is cool but the manager its a old man takes a long time to come out to fill up propane tank I have waited out side for almost a hour but other then that its a cool place.

Paul (glass technician) is the worst. BB was just around for support and store policy... but otherwise to sell a 3rd piece of glass that wouldnt fit either. The glass cuts are off & to suggest someone trim 1/2 an inch off of a glass cut then swear they go by customer measurements and to fill in whatever gap with caulk to make it fit... just skip this store and go to Lowes. Theyre down the street and you wont have half the hassle & frustration.

The guy that cuts the keys was to busy working on something on the computer somewhere on the second floor. Im surprised the other help didnt know how or didnt offer to wait on me. I had to leave as I was told 15 to 20 minutes to wait on the key guy.

Bought some scews and some painting supplies for project. Home Depot wouldnt of had me in and out as fast as Gateway had me out the door. Highly recommend if you need to be in and out as fast as possible.

Didnt realize I could purchase a pane of glass to replace a broken window. They cut it to size for you. This place is actually open past 3 PM on a Saturday unlike a few of the other local hardware stores.

I come here a lot and i always leave satisfied. it sounds like ahiga dfa has some issues with stuff its not just from the store but from a middle school also maybe its not the places maybe she has a poor attitude and a lousy personality and she wants to push the blame off onto other people instead of looking at herself
