Wow never been to a store like this one. I can honestly say in all of my years Ive never had a worse experience in a retail business. If I could have given a negative five stars I would have. When I walked in wasnt even greeted not a smile not a word said. He never took his face out of the computer must have been playing games or something when I did Engage The Gentleman behind the computer was combative on every question or comment and I mean every question I asked he would not give me a straight answer on products didnt seem to have a lot of knowledge about them. I was there about a half an hour walked around the whole store looked at every item not one time was I asked if I had any questions or any input from the people behind the counter at all what a joke not a good way to try to sell products. personally as I told him I wouldnt be back he replied it didnt matterwow!! Im guessing hes not the owner of the company because any owner wouldnt be really happy with employees like that dont care. talk talking with other shop owners it sounds like this is normal at that location as they too said they had heard the same thing from other people. Obviously all of the positive reviews here are paid for because everyone Ive talked to in the area has nothing good to say about that particular store Im sorry to say

I’m new to the Grow Life so I have done my fair share of research over the internet but nothing is better than being able to actually speak with someone who has actual knowledge of growing. I went into the store a google know it all and I left out feeling more comfortable and confident about my grow journey. I had the luck of be able to speak to 2 ppl that really enlightened me and gave me great ideas. I will definitely be back. Thanks fellas!!!

Customer service was poor at best. Sales clerk was oblivious when I walked in. He finally noticed me and stared me down without offering any help whatsoever. I grabbed a gallon of nutrient and proceeded to check out. I asked him for the price of an air stone directly in the middle of two other stones behind the counter. He responds, “is it small or large?”, as if I can see the label from the other side of the counter. This clown didn’t even bother to take four steps to where it was at. He had to take those four steps to grab it for me anyways. The laziness is horrendously pathetic. I paid for my stuff, including a large bag of perlite. No thanks and goodbye. No offer to help with the bag of perlite since my hands were full. I had to make two trip to get all my stuff, which isn’t a problem for me. The fact that this guy is still employed is the shocker. First and last time.There are two other hydroponic shops close by. Take your business there instead.

We have a hydroponic system in our class, but the plants were dying because they couldnt get the right sunlight they needed. They helped us pick out a great light for our class, and were very nice while doing it. The service and product they provided are of excellent quality. The best hydroponic supply center in the city of Houston. I found this place by accident and so happy I did. DJ is so helpful he broke it all down! I walked in clueless and walked away feeling empowered to grow some healthy fruits and veggies for my family. He thrououghly explained the process of growing indoors with the hydroponic method and also saved me money I was about to spend to set up an outdoor greenhouse. Not only that he saved me hours of time I was about to spend trying to grow something that would be more sustainable and produce longer if grown indoors. Go check out out their hydro set up if you are hesitant. I love this store it is a must stop for me. I was luck enough to try and take home some lettuce and tomatoes that were being harvested must say.....MOST DELICIOUS SALAD EVER! I ate it with no dressing. I love my tomatoe trees thanks again DJ!

After visiting several shops around town, I visited this one and was quite impressed with the level of service provided here. Every question that I asked was either answered or they searched for the answer for me. I highly recommend this place to anyone that intends to start any sort of indoor gardening or is in need of products to maintain it. It is also conveniently located off the Beltway near 290. I have frequent this place and they are open everyday!

Excellent products, had everything I was waiting for, from online, and at an affordable price. The clerk was extremely helpful and cool. Gave me a little advice that helped me tremendously. I went to a different store 1st and the clerk was more interested in the clock and treated me a little pretentious. I will always be coming back to this location. Thank you for an awesome experience. I also had got to the store 15min til they closed and the dumb guy the other reviews talked about was really helpful and wasnt trying to make me leave, we were there for like 20 min after they closed. Ill get everything from hereIm going to ask him for help with cloning today. Namaste.

Gabriel is awesome! He gives great advice and has great prices as well (his prices actually beat amazon on quite a few things lol!) Been several times they are always very cool there. My new favorite shop for all kinds of plant care supplies!

They sell expired products then whe you call them out they say they didnt have the product for over a month and call you a liar. Was a regular here too.

These guys are rarley there these days and when they are there smoking cigarettes inside they store got there girlfriends hanging there to...no sense of professionalism. There are better choices..Last time I was there one of them was screaming profanity at someone on the phone!! This store will take advantage of your stupidity. so beware..the owner should CLEAN HOUSE and start over

Great people but they are suppose to be open til 7pm yet are rarely ever there after 5 pm ... this has happened to me 3 times now

This is a great shop! I am relatively new to growing indoor plants, but I quickly discovered I needed some advice and some additional help in the light department. I was greeted by two sweet pups and a very knowledgeable and helpful staff and owners. Everyone there went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed to succeed in my home gardening project. I kid you not, within 2 days using the grow light system they suggested, my fiddle leaf fig tree had 4 new budding leaves. If anyone knows how tough these plants are to maintain indoors (let alone getting them to actually grow!), you know how awesome of an accomplishment this is. I absolutely plan to go back here soon. I have a fungus gnat problem and need some advice. I know they will know what to do. There is a great variety of inventory in the store btw and they offer cool informational reading materials for free...for example, I think I am going to go out and purchase a citrus tree soon because I know more how to keep it alive now...didnt know I could do that. Id say if you are interested in being successful at any indoor gardening endeavor, especially with all of these interior designer homes incorporating live plants these days, go here! They know how to keep your plants alive and they have the right products to help you do just that! My thumb just got a little bit greener mes thinks....lol.

The product that we got turned out great. We need a light system to save our dying plants and they are now getting the sunlight-like light they need. So now we can have our garden the way its supposed to be. I hope that these guys can supply more products if we need it. -Partic

I have been there twice the first time i was in there for 15 minutes and was never greeted. once i tried talking to the dumb guy behind the counter he was rude. the second time i came was this black friday. i drove 2.5 hours to this store cause its the closet store to my house. i got there after they were open for 2 hours and the doors were locked up with a sign saying they were open, there was a car out side with the windows down and it was obvious some one was supposed to be in the store!!!! i was very unhappy i waited for 30minutes and no one came so i had to go to another hydro store. so i lost money in gas tryin to get gear here.i dont suggest going here to anyone!

I went here after the fruit loop from hydroshack ran me off in full blown laughter. That guy is gonna get himself in trouble giving out bs information. The guy at ultimate was pushing canna nutrients pretty hard, as most do, but not neat as bad as Texas Hydro, those guys wont let you leave without something with canna printed on it! Overall, Ultimate is an ok shop for Houston, im used to my local SanDiego shop, run by growers for growers. how it should be
