Nice clean convenient grocery store with fresh veggies, fruits, and meat department. They also serve hot meals that are Hispanic culture.

I bough get some packaged lettuce bc they were out of the regular fresh lettuce.It was EXPIRED. They need to start checking their products. I know sometimes the fridges aren’t working so I wouldn’t buy meat from there. If they can’t do a simple thing as product control, checking shelves for expired products, I wouldn’t trust the meat.Silvia the manager was unfazed by it, she just simply returned as if it wasn’t a big deal… like it happens all the time….

They had no lettuce heads of any kind so we were forced to buy the prepackaged type. EXPIRED. Noticed after we conaumed a bit and it had a funky smell but I washed it. Not feeling sick yet but it left me feeling sick.Took it back and Silvia the manager seemed unfazed. Doesn’t look like they have anyone to check on things, I’d hate to get expired meat so I’d check the dates on things. Make sure the freezers are working too.. won’t be going back. Michoacána has better produce

When in to get lunch. I order 2 gorditas de fajita.. never again... I was literally choking with all the extra string of fat meat. Trash !

Its nice and clean. Well-organized. Great when youre looking for Mexican products. However, their aisles are quite narrow. Friendly staff. Theres also an area to order food and eat it there, too.

First time in the store. It was clean and zoned. The meat department associates was attentive and ready to serve us. Restroom was clean. Cashier was nice.

I shop here regularly for specialty items. They are fresh and prices are lower.

I got 2 pounds of ground beef. When I got home to cook the ground beef it was dried out at the top, brown on the inside and it smelled horrible.

Im so happy this grocery store is so near my house! Great produce and good prices. Its always clean and well stocked.

You would be better off going to Walmart. First time going today and I didnt like it. ESPECIALLY the meat section. The cashier was so slow. She constantly continued to put my items in a big then take them out saying it didnt ring up.

I just had lunch special here $5.99Two gorditas with 22.oz drink come with it . After 3:00pm a whole rotisserie chicken for $3.99That price is cheaper than Walmart hands down. one of the managers name Alvarado he is a very pleasant individual. He introduced himself to me today this was third time I seen him in the store .

Its a good store with okay prices ..and the Discada sold here is the best

I am a regular customer at of El AHORRO supermarket. I love shopping at this location and have always enjoyed their quality merchandise. However, Today I was shopping for my family in this stored/ While shopping, I asked an associate for assistance getting a price on specific items. He stated I should talk to the store manger. The manger was temporary, name Flavio. His approaches was the worst possible customer service skills .He was upset. I have to say, it was the Most horrible experience of my life. he was downright disrespectful and rude.I am extremely disappointed & dissatisfied in the way this manager treated and handled my business. I will never go back into this store again as long as he is the manger in the store.

Today I went to purchase some meat for a barbecue and I found everything I needed is always reasonable prices the only thing that upset me today as there was 10 of us in line and only one cashier and the manager was sitting down texting on his phone when you go during the week you see up to three cashiers today on a Sunday being one of the busiest days you only have one cashier that dont make no sense so today I give them a very low rating

I love this market..so clean and fresh..the clerks are proffessional and friendly...however I would love to buy Zummo Partytime Sausage there and its not....UPDATE: El Ahorro now has Zummo Party time Sausage YOU ROCK! Now for some turkey sausage😍

I stopped by this establishment yesterday afternoon to pick up some vegetables to make a beautiful dinner for my family. Another woman nearby had a daughter playing around. Suddenly, a short, heavy set security man approached us and told the woman and myself (I had my little son with me), in a very rude and nasty way, that this was not a basketball court, and to tell our children to stop horsing around. To begin with, my son was not playing around! I got so angry that I did not purchase anything, and left the full cart in front of him. He seemed to act like he had authority in the place because of his uniform. He really got lucky that I did not ask for the manager. In conclusion, to avoid mistreatment such as this, I will not return ever again.

I went to buy cheese 🧀 and its not good so i call to take to the manger and the ladie that answer said she was busy ...so i told her what my problem and she was talk back to me in a bad way

I dont like coming here unless I absolutely have to cuz the produce is always old the meat is not kept at proper temperature is not clean. The ahorro on capitol is way better id rather make the 15 minute drive. Every time I come to the Broadway location im so disappointed

The people were not nice, they priced items wrong and then were telling me that I would have to pay and substantially higher amount for meat even though the mean I picked was already priced and packaged...totally unprofessional and they would talk in Spanish to one another in front of me and I dont speak Spanish so I felt Luke they were telling secrets/lies between each other. Hated my 1st and only visit there

Today I went to this store with my hood over my head because it was raining I walked in and the guard looked at me up and down. I went on the first isle put the hot sauce in the hand basket and the guard walked up to me and told me I had to leave because a worker identified me as somebody that can no longer come in the store. The guard checked my bag because I guess he thought I stole some damn hot sauce and ended up seeing it in the basket. I refused to leave because I knew I wasnt the person they thought I was and the guard called the police on me. My mother came to have my back and then the police came. After a few minutes the managers came from the back and talked to the police officer. And the police officer came to me and said they realized you are the wrong person, a girl had came in the store earlier stealing and they thought it was me. My mama had to make the manager apologize to me. Let me tell yall I have never been so ashamed in my life! I was crying people was laughing at me the workers, customers, and the guard was looking at me crazy. I was only in the store for a minute probably seconds it was so crazy! So embarrassing! I was the only black person in the store! Im 21 years old I look like a child but you shouldnt treat nobody like that not even a child I knew my rights and I really thought I was going to jail for something that I didnt do.

Tacos were mediocre and the meats chewy. The best thing was the Mexican coke
