I just purchased a Kawai GX-1 grand piano from Kawai Piano Gallery at Houston location. The people who work there are very friendly and easy to talk to. My salesperson Natalia Mejia has helped me a lot during my many times visits, and she was the main reason I decided to purchase Kawai piano over other brands. I would highly recommend people to go check out their pianos and they have great selection of upright and grand pianos to choose from. So far very happy of my purchase.

I purchased a new Kawai K300 piano at a piano sale held by this store at TSU. This was my very first piano shopping experience, so I valued the security of purchasing a new instrument, direct from the company. The salesman was helpful and patient, and we agreed to what I thought was a reasonable price. He verified verbally and by text that I was purchasing a brand-new piano, not one that had previously been used by the school. However, when the piano arrived at our home, we noticed a couple places where the finish was scratched. Thinking that this had happened in the move, we showed it to the delivery person (independent from store), who responded that this was to be expected for a used piano. Long story short, I discovered that the Kawai store had sold me a used piano that it had claimed was new. The salesman said that he did not realize that the piano was used and that his misrepresentation was unintentional (I will never know for sure). I eventually received a refund, but it was unsettling to think that I would have paid a new piano price for a used instrument if not for the delivery persons offhand comment.

I want to give a good review to them because the piano quality is great. However, the warranty service is terrible. The piano my student bought from them needs a repair because the hammer broke. It has been FIVE months since we called, numerous times, to still get no one to fix it under warranty. One guy did show up 3 months ago but he was a tuning guy instead of a technician so he couldnt fix the hammer. Were still waiting for their reply.

A non-profit had a wonderful concert experience and wine/cheese reception on November 11 and it was a beautiful affair. The music school put on a wonderful performance. The showroom glittered and sparkled.
