This place is so efficient and nice. The guys working there are kind and helpful. One really doesnt talk to them very much but if you do engage they are just great men. It is a little tricky to get to bumpy roads, but it is well worth being able to drop your shredding off for free on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2 to 4 I believe on Wednesday and 2 to 5 on Friday.

What a terrific service to offer the public! We had years of personal and business documents in boxes to shred. These folks not only shredded all 11 boxes, they did it cheerfully and fast. In and out in less than 15 minutes! The two employees I spoke to were upbeat and helpful. This is what customer service should be.

This is first review that I have ever written. Here is my story. We have slowly been converting our small insurance business to a paperless system. We had a mountain of shredding needing done but not enough to justify a truck service to come out on a monthly or quarterly basis. After locating this business, I loaded up my vehicle. I drove to the shredding business the same day I scheduled a golf outing with one of my peers. To make a long story shorter, I accidentally left my 20 year wedding ring in the tip jar. (I always take my ring off for golf. I must have put in my pocket sometime that morning. When reaching in for some single dollar bills, I must have grabbed my wedding ring.) After looking for my ring at home for weeks, I decided to call this business and ask if they had it. I must have called while the owner was on summer vacation. I had given up at this point of ever seeing that ring again. Two weeks later, the owner called back and asked what day I dropped off my shredding. Evidently, he wanted to look at their surveillance video. Sometime thereafter, the owner called me and said they found my ring. To say the least, I was pleased. My faith in the human race was restored that day. I would give 10 stars here if possible. Thank you. All of my future shredding needs will be given to this company.

Vanish Shredding is a great company who offers *free* shredding for anyone with small lots to be shredded, personal OR business. They are very polite and helpful, and their owner is offering a wonderful service, particularly for the elderly or those on a limited income.Please note: Their web site says that they are next door to Carmelo Candy...there is an empty warehouse with a loading dock and a gate on the *near* side of Carmelo Candy...Vanish Shredding is on the OTHER side, the FAR side, so if you think (like I did) that they are not open, drive PAST Carmelo Candy, and you will find them on the right side of the street. (Street numbers are missing or confusing...look for orange cones in the street or their parking lot.)
