Always helpful staff. Prices a little expensive, but what is a boat. A hole in the water that you throw money into.

I bought my boat from Wilson Marine and had no issues. When I went to pick up my brand new boat they stated that the speedometer did not work. I was shown paperwork that the service department would contact me when the parts came in to fix the issue. When I contacted the service department they asked me to send them a picture of the speedometer. I did and that is as far as I’ve gotten with them. I have been working with a guy name Neal and he has completely blown me off. I’m rather surprised because they seem like a legit operation but the fact that they have been trying to shy away from warranty work is concerning. The only reason I’m giving them a one star rating is because of the fact that I can’t get my speedometer fixed because they refused to work with me at all. I bought a brand new boat with a inoperable speedometer. I just don’t get it. I think this is localized to the service department

I really hate to write bad reviews but I dont think that Ive ever had a good experience here. The first time I came to Wilson because my motor was over heating. They agreed to look at it and all was good. About a week later they call back to tell me the estimate was around 1,500 to repair the motor! I was shocked because surely there was something seriously wrong. Thay stated that the head gasket and thermostat needed to be replaced. These two parts alone are about 30 dollars so ill let you do the math for how much they were charging for labor! I ended up picking the boat up and doing it myself after buying my parts online. It took me an hour to do it and I had never even touched that particular motor before! When I did receive my boat I had found they had left it outside and it was full of about 8 inches of water and filled with old leaves. Now I understand that these boats get left outside but this was honestly shocking I mean you could have at least drained the water out! I came back a second time though for a different motor because I honestly wanted to give them a second chance. I came in and waited for about 5 minutes before I finally flagged down a worker and asked who I should talk to for parts. They directed me over and I spoke to him and he grabbed the part from the back. When he brought it out he said that this would fit and well ring it up real quick i stopped him first because I wanted to check how much it was and he seemed shocked and insulted that I would ask. turns out thats because they wanted around 20 dollars for a 10 dollar part no wonder they try to pay quick! To add on top of that I looked at the part and discovered they had tried to sell me a part for a different year and horse power than my motor that was clearly written on the packaging. This was not a part that was interchangeable either. Long story short I have had little to no positive experiences and cant recommend this place to anyone after what Ive experienced.

Ron and Ryan were helpful, transparent and extremely responsive when it came to working through details of my repair. The next time I’m in the market for a boat, Wilson Marine has my business. Great experience.

These people are crooks. Called for coils for a 2-stroke motor. Gave the guy my card over the phone told me it would be 108 for the set of coils. Checked my bank statement a few days later. Ive been charged 108 per coil. After I opened the coils both coils were broken. Went on Amazon ordered both coils for $40 that are built way better. If you need parts for an old boat never go to these people. I did not agree to 108 per coil guy told me that would be the price for the set. They misleaded me into charging me a ton of money for broken parts. I wouldnt have driven across the state if I had known how this place operates.

This place will go threw any amd everything to sell you a boat. When it comes to parts and service. Take your boat somewhere that cares about their customer.. Id even say buy a boat from a dealer who takes pride in their coustomers. Not a place i will ever buy from again.

When we dropped our boat off in the fall for fiberglass repair and winterizing, we thought we left it in good hands. However, when the insurance adjuster went out to see it, they couldn’t find the boat or our paperwork. Once the adjuster paid our claim, they lost the check. When we went to pick it up this spring- again they couldn’t find our paperwork and it was not ready when promised (we called ahead and scheduled a pick up date). We had to wait several hours for them to charge the battery, only to get home with the boat to find out the battery was completely dead, so they never charged it. Our salesperson in Commerce was amazing, but the experiences we had with this location for service and repair were horrible and unacceptable.

Love the Friends at Wilson Marine ... Just picked up my boat from having it Shrink Wrapped ... I brought it in a lil late a week or so ago ... it was ready on the 23rd. ... Not bad at all!!! I enjoy the relationships built over the years as well .... Merry Christmas to All of You! 🎅🎄💗

I will NEVER buy another boat from this place 😒 spend A lot of money on a New boat as well as spent a lot of money in their store buying accessories for the boat. Our sales person no good and lots of things wrong on the boat! Sales men could not be there the day we took it never followed up with with us gave him a few weeks to do so never did! I called the manger he gave me his cell number to send pictures well almost a week now and he has not gotten back to me yet. No surprise! We live on the lake and have had friends ask us where are for our boat but told them what has happened and tell them dont go there! Very Sad and beyond disappointment.

There are very helpful and experienced staff. Anytime I have a question regarding my boat or a friends boat. they are always more that happy to help me figure out anything that Im confused or having a difficult time with. For example when I called yesterday about both outdrive shaft seals, they unfortunately didnt have them but they called their other store in wixom and told me they have them. They proceeded to say that they have the whole upper seal kit for only about 10 dollars more and said I would get everything I needed plus all the other gaskets and Im glad I did because I ended up needing other things on the kit Haha. Over all Im always happy with their service and willingness to help me with my projects

Bought a new Heyday Wakeboat boat here in January, upon delivery I pointed out a bunch of issues with the fiberglass the rear trailer light was bent and the fenders on both sides had large dents. The boat had not been detailed very thoroughly at all. The sticker residue from the manufacturer was still on the hull had not been cleaned, and this is simply not acceptable as I had a deposit on this boat for more than two weeks prior to driving 10hrs to pick it up. Also they instructed me to not use the cover for transportation back home and to take the seats out, this caused the cup holders and the bottom drain cover to blow out of the boat as they were not glued in. After notifying them of this I received the replacement cup holders even though I told them I had already ordered LED ones and didn’t need them the drain cover from the boat came but had no seadec on it. The sales guy Tony was good to work with but also said all the issues would be addressed and new parts would be sent to me as I can’t drive 10hrs back for that stuff I told them as long as they send the parts I’m more than happy to do the installation myself. I spoke with Heyday Customer Care multiple times and was told they had contacted Wilson multiple times to find a solution and get this resolved. It is now June and still no resolution. I at this point have now waited long enough and given them every opportunity to make this right with no response so if you ever want to have service on a boat do not buy from these guys! I am at this point editing this review to say that even after posting this I have had zero response from Wilson Marine to resolve the issues this is totally unacceptable and not what I would expect from a dealer of this size.

I did as much research as I could on an older part prior to arriving at Wilson Marine and left with a new part in hand. Wilson Marine was able to cross check my research and validate that what they were selling me what I needed.
