First time purchasing with them and couldnt be happier. Went to all the big name stores first but ended up finding the better deal, friendlier and more knowledgeable staff and with an amazing experience. Went in to buy a new Fridge, and ended up buying a new dishwasher as well. Will be going back to buy a new double oven in due time thats for sure. Delivery of the fridge was today and the delivery guys couldnt have been more considerate and friendly and helping. Glad we found a nice local company that does business right! Great job!! A+++++

This was an unconventional sale for Hudson Appliance Center since I live in Virginia. They had a discontinued floor model I wanted for my kitchen remodel (Whirlpool). Since they do not deliver except for local further created logistics issues and being a floor model it had no original packaging material. After agreeing on the sale I contacted Wetmore Packaging who handled packing and shipping to me in Virginia. I always had transparent communications with Kristoff and the oven arrived in perfect condition complete with all original paperwork and installation hardware. Thank You Hudson Appliance Center!

Poor communication, worse customer service, and catastrophic failure in execution result in 3-month wait for repair that will never happen.1.Start with the Good: June 2020 - The Sales personnel at Hudson appliance (HA) were very helpful when we needed a new refrigerator.2. The Bad: June 2021 - The available Blomberg unit crapped out (severed wire that enters the door) a couple days after the manufacturers warranty expired. Fortunately (sort of) we had purchased extended warranty coverage under CPS (Consumer Priority Service).3. The Ugly:3a. July 2021 - The refrigerator service technician (HA usually has 2, and was down to 1) took several weeks to come perform the inspection of the unit.3b. August 2021 - Upon inspection, HA submitted repair estimates, which were accepted by CPS3c. August 2021 - CPS approved estimates, but I did not hear from HA. I called back and they said they were waiting for parts3d. September 2021 - I once again initiated contact with HA service department who indicated they cannot perform the service because they have no longer have any active refrigerator technicians. They referred me back to CPS3e. CPS indicated they need HA to submit in writing that they cannot service the unit. And that a newly assigned servicer would have to come repeat the inspection and estimate process, order parts, and schedule repairs, essentially resetting the clock that has already been running FOR 3 MONTHS.4. Conclusion: Do what I am about to and buy your appliances elsewhere

We had wonderful service recently with Hudson Appliance. After 27 years our old Maytag washer/ dryer set finally died. We purchased a new set (SpeedQueen) from Hudson Appliance and while the washer was ready right away, the dryer was back ordered. We just had the dryer delivered / installed and Dylan and TJ did an excellent job. Kindly removed their shoes when asked and carefully protected the carpet with cardboard. Very kind, respectful and accommodating.

Phenomenal experience! I needed a stove quickly and DJ moved mountains to make it happen. The two gentlemen who did the install were wonderful -- especially given that it turned out the plug for the stove was not on the wall behind but instead on the basement ceiling below. They rolled with the punches and got the job done. Highly recommend Hudson Appliance. Shop Local!

Our experience with Hudson Appliance has been fantastic! Prior to walking into the showroom I was completely overwhelmed by the choices on stoves and refrigerators. Walking out after just an hour I was fully confident in my choices and had picked out all basic 4 appliances needed for our kitchen. We worked with Bill R who listened to what we wanted and offered his opinion with no upselling. Due to the pandemic we pushed off our kitchen remodel for a year. When we decided to remodel this year we worked again with Bill who advised our appliances were still being manufactured but strongly encouraged us to order as soon as possible which we did. As info we ordered in February for an end of June remodel, all 4 appliances came in by mid-may. They were held for us until they were ready for installation about the end of July. Since our install we have had questions on some of the appliances and again Bill is at the ready to answer. I have never received this kind of attention and detail at the big box stores and cannot recommend Hudson Appliance enough.

Hudson Appliance really came through for me when I needed a washing machine. We visited the store and Derek Samuelson helped me and my wife select an appropriate model. We even lucked out with a next day delivery as they had an opening. The delivery (and removal of the old appliance) via my very narrow basement stairs of my old house was handled professionally. I did not end up making a purchase from Hudson Appliance, so I would like that disclaimer right from the start. I called looking for a specific appliance that the manufacturer listed as available at Hudson Appliance on their website. It was not, in fact, available but I had a long conversation with the employee who answered the phone. He explained that the pandemic has made it almost impossible to predict when they will see a specific appliance once it goes out of stock. He was extraordinarily helpful and made me realize that I needed to make a different choice.I would have ordered through Hudson Appliance because the employee was so candid and so helpful but I live outside their delivery area at the moment. They have been so busy with trying to fill back orders that they are focusing on a more local approach. If you are in their area, I strongly suggest checking them out. They are knowledgable and will give you the real information, not just what will cause you to make a purchase!

FANTASTIC (and COVID safe) assistance from salesman, Bill, in selecting kitchen our appliances. After a false start at another appliance store with the same name as an Ivy League school...I was thrilled to get Bill at Hudson Appliance on the phone where listened to my needs and immediately went “outside the box” and made creative and cost effective suggestions for my challenging refrigerator space. We were able to completely re-think our space and select the right appliances for our home. Bill is AWESOME and thoughtful. He also worked with my parents to get them an appropriate refrigerator. 1 star with 1 word to follow - Ugh! Extremely unprofessional and non-existent service and f/u support with issues. I try to support local businesses... but in this case, stay away and go with the big box stores (or anybody else who sells appliances!).Response: Ive had my email address for nearly a decade. As you can tell, Hudsons response is argumentative and doesnt care about their customers experience. To be more clear, the sales team only care about their commission and are pushy.

Unfortunately, I purchased all my appliances from this store on the advice of the builder. I wish I had gone anywhere else. The sales assistance in purchasing the appliances was very old school in that the technical knowledge of the sales person was lacking, asking me if I thought the appliance was nice looking. The service department gives you a window they will show up not understanding that perhaps the couple both work outside the home. I found the service department not accommodating at all. Go anywhere else but here.

My electrolux dryer was not working due to some faulty parts and Cameron got my dryer up and running quickly and now it is QUIET. He is ordering the new upgraded parts on newer models, and in the meantime I can still use my dryer. I am SO happy with the service I received. Cameron rocks!

Ive been buying from these guys for over a long time, but I still shop the big-box stores every now and then. Based on my experience, theres no comparison, Hudson Appliance is the better place to buy appliances. First, the sales team is really good. They know their products and warrantys and they are informative rather than pushy. They make good recommendations based on my needs, which isnt always the most expensive product. I find their prices to be very good. Can I save $10 at a big-box place, sure. But the big box places dont offer the service that a local business like Hudson Appliance does.Their installation service is good. I know must of us would like down to the minute scheduling, but thats impossible in the real world of traffic jams and unknown installation difficulty. Theyve always done a good job accommodating my schedule, and Ive never had them miss an appointment, and the work has always been done very well.The owner and his customer-service orientation is outstanding. I had a problem with an expensive new dryer, and he did everything you could wish for in helping me get the problems resolved quickly/efficiently. Hudson Appliance has earned their good reputation and my loyalty by being value conscious, providing excellent service, and showing me they actually do care about their customers.

I spent $5000 there and wish I never walked in the door! I would have gotten better service from a big box store! The events from the beginning...The arrogant delivery guy insisted that my brand new (purchased from a plumber) metal washing machine hose leaked all on its own...hmmm...and that I needed to give him $15 for a new one or hed just walk out leaving me with a washing machine that was not operational and I could call a plumber to fix it. So I gave him the $15 for which I never received a receipt...hmmm... lunch? Then comes the 2k fridge. To level it at my request...hmm...he opened the bottom freezer door and picked the fridge up by the open door!...hinges???...Then on the way out I see that my storm door is broken! When I pointed this out, he arrogantly said that I had broken it when I let him in! Then the argument ensued! I told him to leave! He said he had to get his tools...I followed him in, he took his tools and on the way out decided he would put the cabinet knob back on the cabinet. I told him to leave it and leave my house! He said NO! and continued to attach the knob, I again said leave it alone and get out! And again he refused! I was ready to call the cops! I said, its not good practice to argue with the customer! He said he wasnt arguing! I said youre arguing about not arguing now GET OUT! I called the store....got transferred to the owner, had to leave a voicemail. I asked him to call me asap. NEVER A CALL!!! He got a fix it guy to call me who came to my house, another employee with a bad attitude! Said that the wind could have broken the door! on a not wind day! Said it could have been like that before they got there! He replaced a part lol...he put it on backward! and the darn door still didnt close! I had to end up getting my handyman to turn the part around and shim the door! I would NEVER EVER recommend Hudson Appliance to anyone ever! To this day I have not received a call from the owner! Are you scared to call me? Dont like conflict? Id better get a call from this review or Ill stand in front of their store and tell my story to everyone that walks by never mind has intention to spend thousands of dollars there!!! Do yourself a favor and RUN from Hudson Appliance!

While we only completed installation yesterday I can’t think of anything to criticize in the sales process. Kristoff was very helpful in selecting our stove and microwave. He took time to point out our options and suggested some alternatives as well. He was also really helpful in arranging the delivery and installation. We had some difficulty on our side in arranging some electrical work we needed so coordinating delivery/installation/plumbers was tricky but he got that arranged very well.

My sales rep Kristof was very helpful. I’d had a horrible experience with my recent fridge that had just died again. He listened to my concerns and offered some suggestions— he didn’t just steer me to an expensive model. I was able to get delivery the next day! And the delivery crew was fantastic. They were respectful of my property and moved the appliances in and out of my home with extreme care. They talked me through making the water connection and ensured everything was working before they left. I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Interesting how when you called my cell I answered on the first ring even though I was on a conference call. Also interesting that my phone showed no missed calls. I do see your number though telling me your guy was not coming.Did you ask your repair guy if he rang the doorbell or did he knock on a side door? I have 2 dogs who didnt make a peep and they bark like crazy when they hear someone. Too lazy to walk to the front door?No thanks on the reschedule, I found someone else who came 2 hours later and was $40 cheaper.

Had a great experience here. We had the service team come out and assess our 6 year old dryer. It needs enough work we decided to get a new one. In the store the sales rep, Derek was very helpful and knowledgeable. It seemed like he would have been just as happy if we had stayed with repairing the old unit as buy a new one. We ended up getting a new dryer and dishwasher and very happy with our decision.

I recently bought a washer dryer from Hudson Appliance and am very pleased with my purchase. Bill Richards helped me every step of the way from the first phone call to the final decision. I couldnt be more appreciative of his honesty, judgement and willingness to make himself available as I pondered each choice. I had so many questions- did I need to buy a compact size given the size of my space or could I fit a full size stackable washer dryer, could I keep within my budget, which were the most highly rated, what kind of wiring did i need, how quickly could I receive it, and on and on. A less patient person would have bailed but Bill remained available, sending me information and specs until I felt comfortable making a decision. I never felt pressured or felt he was losing his patience with me and as a result he helped me to make the best decision. I highly recommend Bill Richards and Hudson Appliance.

I would not recommend their service department. My dishwasher got water in the bottom pan and stopped working (had to cut power to it). Called Hudson Appliance and they came in about a week. The tech opened the front panel looked at the motor and told me that I need to pay $600 for a new motor or better yet completely replace the dishwasher. Without the motor the machine is gone. However, he did not even try to turn it on. Once he left I decided to actually try it and sure enough everything just worked. Just waiting for the tech to show up for a week the water in bottom pan must have evaporated and thus the machine turned on. No new water after the cycle. I still dont know how I got water in the bottom pan in the first place but it surely is not a motor. Anyway at least he could have tried to run it and not tell me to buy a new machine.UPDATE: Its been a month and the dishwasher is working like new. I ended up calling the manufacturer and ordering a non return valve for $37.82 with delivery. The old one looked rather worn out so I decided to replace it just in case it was the reason for the water in the bottom pan. It took less than a minute to replace. Problems fixed! Too bad I spent $160 on a service call that wasted my time an money. Nice way to run the service department - dont fix it, buy a new one.

Great selection and choices to pick from for a local appliance store. Will price match with the large retailers. Sales team and service men are really nice. Service receptionist not so much. There could be a select few words for her but you can use your imagination what they are. But dont expect them to put customer service first. We bought a LG fridge with a water/ice dispenser. The clip ring that connects the plastic tube to the pump is busted and always pops out. Well since it is a one piece pump the entire unit had to be ordered(still under warranty). Well it took 2 weeks for the part to get in and they do not work nights or weekends. This could have been something I could have fixed in a couple of days cause I found the part on Amazon and will only take 10 minutes to replace. They said the delivery took so long because it was an LG issue, not Hudson Appliances. And they will not work nights or weekends to replace the part even though we took half days from work for two previous visits. Working for a sales organization, myself, we carry stock warranty replacement items on most parts and god forbid if we told the customer it was a manufacturer problem not ours. And plus we would work nights and weekends to make sure the customer is satisfied especially if its a 10 minute fix.

Not sure why this company had existed this long... no ownership.. schedules r always busy.. usually 4 to 6 weeks. Worked with them with my dishwasher issue.. it is going on for 8 weeks.. still not resolved..Update :I got a call after I had placed the review online..She was very angry that I had put review comments as I feel about their service.They are working on Clothing Washer issue..They are supposed to get a part for it after initial screening. I had put the review comments about other service request.i.e. dish washer..Now, they do not want to continue my clothing washer service ticket..I had asked her the reason for it..She mentioned about the review comments..If you cannot do a good job in the service industry, why do you even accept so many service requests..Accept only work load what you can offer the best service..

We had a great experience with a dryer repair. Calls returned quickly. Repair person was friendly, respectful and got the job done quickly. Pricing seemed reasonable. Then we needed a washing machine repair. Several days of phone calls not being returned. Appointment was made for several days out. Repair person came and listened to me describe the problem and, without looking at the machine, diagnosed the problem but didnt have the part. Literally 3 minutes in the house. (I gave the same description I gave over the phone.) The part would take a few days to locate. In reality it took more than a week and the same repair person returned to install it. He was rude, caused other problems when he tilted the machine up to work on it and then refused to address those problems when asked. He said it was like that when he came and it wasnt properly installed. It took less than 10 minutes of repair time and has been working properly since.

I had a wonderful experience working with Joe. He had excellent product knowledge and was happy to find the answers to additional questions I had. This was my first big appliance purchase, and I did some research ahead and thought I knew what I wanted. Joe was really patient and went over the pros and cons of all different types of stoves and dishwashers. All of his information helped me decide to go with induction, which was much nicer than what I intended to buy, but I absolutely love it! Even though I upgraded the stove, I did not feel like he was trying to upsell, especially since he didnt try to dissuade me from buying one of the least expensive dishwashers. I really felt the difference of shopping at a local store with knowledgable staff vs the many box stores I visited in my kitchen remodel with limited selection and staff that was moderately helpful at best.

Just took deliver of our new LG washer. Two gentlemen arrived and proceeded to install the washer in a very tight spot. These two guys were respectful and cared as much as I do about my walls, doors and the new machine. Complete professionals!Bought the LG Washer (Model # LGWM2140CW) on the Tax Savings day. Had to wait until the State of MA announced it but I hate paying any more tax than I have to. The people at Hudson Appliance (Michael in Sales) were very friendly and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend these guys. Price was as competitive as everyone else and they did exactly what they said they would do.To the two guys that delivered the washer, THANK YOU for being so considerate.

Bought a full set of appliances from Hudson Appliance. They were terrific. I did not check exhaustively on prices, but theirs seemed fair. However, they were very helpful in timing the deliveries to match the builders schedule, and resolved any issues, like a dented refrigerator door panel that may not have been caused by them, without question. Would strongly recommend to anybody looking to purchase appliances.

Warranty service center for big box stores. Not impressed with customer service. Do not keep appointments, very vocal on reasons customer is wrong, not truthful on attempts to contact customer and do not seem to care at all. Do not believe the positive reviews. Sales people may be friendly and service techs may be knowledgeable but terrible customer service ruins any positives. Ended up using other service any paying out of pocket rather than warranty repair.

Horrible customer service! Be very careful if you purchase anything from them. I purchased a stove over the tax free weekend to be delivered today between 12-4. 9:30. This morning they call to tell me the stove was crushed and could not be delivered. Although I wasnt happy, I asked if they could help me find the same stove within their network they told me they had. The salesman said I dont have time for that There is nothing we can do for you. I went in to get my refund, again they acted like it was no big deal. They need to brush up on some Customer Service skills.

We were at the end of our rope because we had a horrible experience at Home Depot in Marlborough of last year Jan/2018 and were running out of options for a referigerator, for the time being our food was kept outside until we could find a decent appliance. I convinced my husband that our options were running out and we needed to take swift action, so we made the pilgrimage to Hudson Appliance and soldiered on in pursuit of a refrigerator. Its like being a kid in a 🍬 candy store because of all the stainless steel gadget appliances like: Bosch (top of the line & very expensive 💸💸💸💸), Samsung has a mini-computer that you can get a glimpse of whats in it with an app on your ☎ phone, Kitchen Aid, Maytag (was our previous referigerator & we wanted consistency), and so much, much more. Our next big purchase will be for a dishwasher & stove... The store delivered and hauled away our 😢 white decrepit Maytag refrigerator that was on the fritz for months. Our decrepit appliance met its demise & maker...The staff at Hudson Appliance are very knowledgeable and are affordable. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience because going elsewhere would be unwise especially after being taken twice over at Home Depot....Take the time to do research about your potential appliance or appliances because itll save you grief and aggravation in the end...Happy Shopping in the pursuit of a perfect appliance....

After making an initial repair of a leaking valve for $179 Hudsons repair person failed to determine what was preventing water from reaching ice maker. His solution, replace everything for $375 additional and hope it works! Well, guess what, it did not work! Second repair person returned to discover another valve that was blocking the water flow. Simple $44 dollar part replaced and now it works. If Hudson had found the blocked valve first, no need to replace everything! When asked to discount the bill for the misdiagnosis they refused! Look for another company!

I purchased a Miele washing machine from Hudson appliance 4 years ago.Recently it needed repairs. A month later I still have no functional washer despite multiple repair attempts from their repairman. By now many parts of the machine have been replaced- I hate to hear the total bill. Not to mention the inconvenience. I have called for a loaner. This can only be sanctioned by the repair manager who is incidentally is never available and does not answer messages.If that was all!!I purchased a Viking extractor from Hudson as well- never worked well. They advised me to replace it with a Thermador. Transpires that the model advised was incompatible with our current set up. So more money paid and a different model was installed but damaged during installation so not working when activated- does not raise and needs manual aid. The repairman returned yet again but could not fix the problem. Left with a promise to get resolution. . I have not heard from him again.Our problems have been ongoing for well over a year.I hope to hear from Hudson Appliances management.Karen and Bert Brandse

First, they didnt show up at the scheduled time TWICE!!Second, they ordered the part for us, and charged us TWICE more than the market price for just the material.Thied, we had to call to follow up. They didnt let us know even when theyve received the part.Terrible company! Stay away!

I bought a refrigerator, stove and range hood last week at Hudson appliance. I am very pleased with everything !!! Jeff, the sales associate at the store was great, very knowledgable and helpful. They arrainged for everything, from delivery, set up and haul away of old appliances !!! I cant say enough good things about this store !!! The guys who delivered the appliances were very friendly and professtional, as was Matt who did the instillation !!! I would highly recommened Hudson Applience to all my family and friends !!!
