I got my starter set here a couple years ago, and the staff was awesome. They pulled out a few different sets for me to try, and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable, as it was my first time holding a golf club since I was little.I decided I was ready to graduate to better clubs this season, and just had a full set fitting done today. I was extremely happy with how that went. I was able to try many different brands/styles, and they really took the time to make sure I was getting what was best for me.After the fitting was done there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything, which was nice. That being said, I was so pleased with my fitting that I DID buy a bunch of new clubs!
The team is very helpful especially the lady on the floor in the afternoon. Great advice on clubs selection. Thank you.
Fantastic driver fitting yesterday with Whitney Gikis . He took the time to understand my swing and my goals ... Came home with a new driver that fits me perfectly .. Will 100% recommend !
Older gentleman at the fitting/demo area helped me. Ran around the store finding demo clubs for me to hit. Legitimately cared about me being happy about my purchase, unlike big box retailers. Just a wonderful experience.
Unbeknownst to them, I went there with the intent of buying 6 complete sets of clubs, shoes, bags etc for an incoming pga tour pro and family coming into town but it seemed like the attitude there is, you’re no one unless your someone. But they have a great selection of golf gear there
The folks here are very knowledgeable and will help you get fitted for the right clubs.
Absolutely rude, snobby, salespeople. I was greeted by a fella who had a rotten attitude and acted as if i was a bother to him. I asked about irons and the way he interacted with me was out of line. They act like you are on “their time.” I was ABSOLUTELY ready to purchase new irons and the way i was treated was totally absurd.Side Note:I was golfing with two random people today at Windham CC and brought this situation up and they had similar experiences! How bizarre!!! Looks like this isnt isolated and they need to vet the talent a bit more.Lets now hear a cookie cutter, politically correct statement from the COO guys!!!
Brian C. Was extremely helpful. He knows his stuff. Took the time for adjustments and suggestions to find the best clubs to utilize my sons hockey player swing. Excellent customer service!
First let me say that Whitney, the Callaway Master Club Fitter, was absolutely awesome. But it all stops there. Took my son there to buy a new set of clubs for his college graduation gift. Whitney was wonderful at fitting my son. During the fitting, which took a while, as it should have. This was first thing in the morning, and I asked Whitney if they had any coffee. Nope. I left the fitting room and asked the manager. Nope. I then offered to buy coffee for him, and the other associates behind the counter if he could send someone to go get me a coffee (literally 3 min up the road). Nope. Wouldnt do it. Heres my point. I spent $2,400 on new clubs. Are you FG kidding me?!?! Disappointed in the customer service and focus, was an understatement!I also decided to have my own clubs regripped. Said it would take a few days. 2 weeks go by. No call. I call them, and miraculously, they just finished them. Ummm, No.Great selection and range of products. But I know what not to expect.Message: Your customers spend alot of money. GO THE EXTRA YARD, and get rid of the Manager that wouldnt.
Excellent place, bought a full ski package here twice and they are very knowledgeable! Huge selection for ski and golf, and they have a driving range outback. And a test range inside!
I didnt see many ski reviews on here so I figured Id throw one out there. I was looking for a particular ski that I had demoed and fallen in love with (2021 Elan Ripstick 88 in 172cm), but finding that ski in a common size this year was proving to be a task, especially since I wanted it for the upcoming weekend. I gave Golf and Ski Warehouse a call and they had it in stock! Not only that but they had the BEST price I could find, including online. Bonus, I am a member of their rewards program which earned me $21 in rewards points. While they had the ski the binding was at another facility. They were able to get it to their facility, mount it and have it ready in a few days for my weekend ski trip. While the vibe I got was most people that worked there were more golf enthusiasts than ski, they were very helpful, friendly and enabled me to get out on my new sticks quicker than any other avenue. Two thumbs up!
Staff is great here! Very helpful and knowledgeable.
Pretty good selection and helpful staff.
Showed up for a driver fitting and was greeted by Brian who recommended 3 drivers to test out (did not do the performance center fitting). Brian was extremely patient while answering all of my questions during the fitting. He went over the different specs and had me switch back and forth between different clubs, and switched out different shafts to make sure I felt comfortable with my purchase. The best fitting service I have received.Only feedback would be to stock additional fitting options for ping drivers. The callaway fitting options seemed to be more extensive compared to the other brands.Adam fitted me for ski boots and his service was also amazing.
Very clean store. Only problem I had was both men working the front register were on phone calls which is totally understandable but please dont call me up to your register and say Im on the phone right now but their on hold so Ill try to ring you in before they come back on. The VISIBLE customer should absolutely come first but because of Covid I understand the phones will be busier. Other than my complaint which is very very minor, the store looked good today.
Bought a set of Mizuno JPX921 irons today. It was a terrific experience. Gerry Morrisey helped me with the fitting. Gerry is a really pleasant sales guy and extremely helpful. The store is amazing. They have all possible clubs and a real outdoor driving range to try them. What I liked best is that the staff doesn’t chase you around and is there to help if you ask. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to buy any golf gear.
Great experience l got fitted for new woods instead of buying off shelf. I highly recommend the process.
Got new woods. Ryan was so knowledgeable and patient. Found the perfect clubs
Let me first start off by saying that I know virtually nothing about golf, but I came with my boyfriend so he could try out some new golf clubs. The gentleman that helped my boyfriend was not only very knowledgeable, but informative with zero judgment or biases. I would highly recommend working with Brian Cook directly if youre unsure of what to buy, he was wonderful.
I have given this place multiple tries because it’s close and I like to buy my husband golf stuff, but I can say I would spend A LOT more if they were at all friendly or helpful!!!
Had a durability issue with a set of new but inexpensive irons I recently purchased. They took them back, dealt with the manufacturer under warranty, and ultimately set me up with a much better set of used irons. They did the honorable/right thing, to stand behind the equipment they sold, and I couldnt be happier with their service.
Great service! Ask for Jim...he was outstanding.
Great prices and knowledgeable staff!
I was in town from Chicago and needed help with a putter fitting. Josh Kibbe (Asst. Mng) is the real deal. Within minutes he had my putting stroke back and feeling good. I highly recommend this place. Thanks again Josh!
Staffs very friendly. Has everything golfers need.
Knowledgeable and helpful staff and great selection. Outdoor range to test clubs and indoor simulators make it unmatched in the local retail fitting world.
If you’re kid is not a small youngling, forget seasonal ski rentals. My kid is 12 and I want to rent because he’s still growing obviously, but they just want to sell to kids that big. I drove up to McEntyre Ski in Manchester and they took care of me without trying to sell me anything. Thanks McEntyre!
I just went there and met with Josh who did an amazing job helping me find the best custom fit clubs for my swing. Great experience never felt like he was trying to steer me one way or the other based on price point but what was most appropriate for my need with my swing
Went to get a couple of grips changed. Had the clubs back in my hands in 10 minutes. Picked up some ProV1 balls. Store has everything. Knowledgeable staff
Went in with a buddy of mine to get him a new set of clubs for the season. Hes a relatively new golfer who doesnt understand much about his own swing. We met up with the man at the counter to ask about checking out some clubs to see what might work best for my friend. Rather than setting him up to try different shafts (e.g. steel vs graphite) he handed him a prefab set and said thatll do. When we asked about trying a few different types so my friend could get a feel for what he wanted to purchase, the fitter insisted on the prefab set he had already selected. We felt he wasnt very interested in making sure the clubs felt right in his hands. The fitter also mentioned that my friend was a little shorter than the average golfer and may want his clubs shorter to match, but didnt provide any info about how to do so, and again didnt allow us to test that theory. I had gone in with my friend in the hopes of also checking out a new driver, but ultimately decided against any purchase here after the service we received. We felt very off put by the service we received, and felt that trying out new equipment was frowned upon unless you were a low handicap player willing to spend $1000+. Looked at the prefab set that was recommended elsewhere and saw it was priced ~$100 cheaper elsewhere
Place is so poor in customer service....asked how long to change a grip on a club... told in an elevated voice a week. Guy was bothered by my question....place is a joke
I have been coming to Golf and Ski for my equipment the last 2 years. They have a wide variety of gear and accessories. So much that it isnt necessary to frequent another store. The staff are very attentive and will absolutely cater to your needs. Ive had the most contact with Brian at the store. He is a superior golf professional with a number of years in the industry. I was there yesterday to pick up a new set of irons and was dead set on getting fit into the TS drivers. The irons were an easy find after hitting a few stock sets, but when it came to the driver, Brian really made me do my due diligence before the purchase. Rather than just fitting me to what I wanted, he suggested I try a few others with some different shaft combos. This doesnt happen enough. Alot of times you get fitters trying to steer you towards the most expensive purchase without testing out other options. Brian took it upon himself to set a proper example for how any golf operation should run. I not only left with irons and a fitted driver, but also with a better knowledge of my swing and what my numbers represented. I highly recommend the services and equipment offered through Golf and Ski warehouse in Hudson, New Hampshire.
Smooth iron fitting with Josh. Targeted minor upgrades without overselling stuff I dont need. Would recommend. Shout-out to the young lad (Adam I think) who set me up with driver and hybrid. Cheers!
Great place. Super knowledgeable s to staff. Love to go just to browse and learn.
Went for a driver fitting. Employee was patient and offered lots of options and went over stats to help me make the best selection. Thank you!
Amazing place and amazing service. Highly suggest the driving range as well!
Great group of Employees...so helpful....love those lady Callaways!
Great place for golf equipment. Today was demo day. Many manufacturers were on hand and ready to fit you as well at you try out the newest clubs. Golf and ski has their own fitting area.
Great full service golf shop. They pull in all the major golf brand reps a few times a year which is a great way to try out the new tech each year.
Expensive morning with the boys picking out bday golf clubs.....Josh was great...patient and very helpful....
Ive been to Golf & Ski Warehouse 3 times to date, and in each case the sales team has been incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. On my last visit to the Hudson store, Brian (the store manager), went above and beyond - helping with a warranty issue on one of my golf clubs and then with fitting for a new driver. Im very pleased with the level of knowledge and expertise the team members have, and its clear that they really like what they do. Highly recommended.
Worked with Jim today on a fitting for a driver and 3 wood. He was great! Took the time to get me into the right clubs. Great experience. You made a repeat customer today.
Decent selections of left handed clubs. Found exactly what I wanted
Knowledgable associates and good customer service
Great golf store. Clothing, equipment, fitting and a driving range.
Very helpful staff. No pressure to buy the clubs that I tried out. Prices were competitive (No sales tax in NH is nice too). Really nice driving range. Thinking of going back for some tune up lessons
My husband and I both purchased golf clubs. The staff was very helpful. They have virtual reality and a range to test the clubs first
After breaking a couple clubs in one outing, headed over to get some advice on what to get. The staff was phenomenal, put me out back on the range with with a sample from four sets. Then I went in on the simulator for a bit, decided what I was liking, but was apprehensive and felt no pressure when I said I wanted to sleep on it. When I did go to order, we found an inventory SNAFU, which they rolled with very well. The end result, I ended up with a slightly modified (i.e. custom Iron set) rush shipped, arriving on the fifth business day after I ordered, directly from the factory. Great staff, lots of them willing to help, with no pressure. And useful toys to assess. While I hope to not spend significant money in the near future, I wouldnt hesitate to and recommend that you do as well!
Great place to buy golf equipment, prices are fair and salesman was very hepful
The best place to get fitted and blast a free bucket of balls with any amount of demo clubs you want to try. This place is just over the Mass. line in Hudson N.H. So save yourself $60 in taxes and buy that set of clubs youve always wanted.
Very good selections
Good place to go work on your swing.
Disappointed to hear of the horrible experience my two sons had today. We have been to Golf and Ski locations everywhere always treated with great customer service. But today my two sons had planned the trip for a bit my oldest was in a PGM program for two years and now plays college golf and my youngest will be attending Coastal Carolina in their PGM program in August, he was shopping for new woods, prepared to spend possibly close to $1000 dollars they are not new to the sport and always had top of the line clubs, and my oldest is quite educated, we wont be back to this store.
All that you need for golf and helpful and knowledgeable staff
I have been a customer of Golf & Ski Warehouse for many years. When I was ready to make a major purchase of new irons, and driver, they are who I thought of first. Everything was fine with those purchases, until today.During a golf league outing yesterday, my driver broke when I hit a tee shot - with the head flying into the water. I immediately called the manufacturer from the course and he told me it shouldnt be a big deal, contact the retailer (Golf & Ski).I went to Golf & Ski today with the broken shaft, and was told, very abruptly, by Adam (Asst. Manager) that there was nothing they could do. He didnt offer to contact the company, talk to a representative, offer to help me purchase a new driver, let alone offer a discount. This purchase was made less than a year & a half ago (Feb 2016) at the NH Golf Expo. Clearly, there was something defective with the club.I am truly disappointed as both a golfer & a skier, and will be sure to take my business elsewhere.
Prices & selection are good but dont ask them to repair a club beyond re-griping. Had 2 shafts replaced & the heads came off both of them. I brought one of them back & they assured me that that would not happen again. Daaa 1st shot the head comes off, they didnt even put partB in the epoxy, it was still sticky after a week. I was pissed to say the least. 40 bucks down the drain, I had someone competent fix it, (still fixed)
Got clubs to play this summer with my husband. They were very helpful even though I dont know anything about golf or golf clubs. Did not feel pressured to buy anything or be upsold.
More golf than ski. Dont waste your time here for ski gear. Go to Proctor instead.
Golf & Ski Hudson. Greatest golf shop in all of America. I know because Ive been to most of them ! Brian Casey Asst Mgr. Best most caring individual in the golf retail business ever. He should be CEO of this organization.
Great selection, knowledgeable help and guidance. Latest technology.
The salesperson went out of his way to accommodate us.
They have everything one would want when it comes to golf and skiing. I golf.Prices are what you would expect to pay. They will custom fit you to the max. They have every fancy camera/lazer/doppler, thing-a-ma-jig to get THE most out of what you have. They sell their own, regular type, training aids as well. All types of golf balls, gloves, tees, etc. Plenty of clearance and used clubs to pick through. The World Cup Golf Center driving range is right behind here, so you can hit any club in there.Tons of putters to choose from and a large practice area to try them in. And beautiful clothing that (sadly) is typical golf prices $$$$$$$$
First time getting a fitting. Wish I did it much earlier. Josh was great and worked with me to get the best setup. I was a mizuno fan so was leaning towards them and he worked with me to see if we could get a set up that worked but in the end Joshs recommendations yielded the best results and I walked out with srixon. Should have trusted him earlier :). Thanks for your help
Always courteous, knowledgeable staff who are willing to help you out. Great reward program as well.
Always a great selection of merchandise, helpful staff, very clean environment, looking forward to my next purchase.
Excellent selection and prices on golf gear. Outdoor test range to try clubs. Golf lessons. Course nearby.
The facility is big so I am giving it 2 stars. However their staff NEVER asked if we needed any help or even talked to us until we were ready to check out. It did have a smell to it but Im not sure what it was. One of my major issues is on the driving range they have a beautiful display of huge flags from other nations but not one American Flag. So my husband being a Veteran was very upset. We made it our mission to see if there was an American Flag anywhere. As we were leaving we saw that when you pull into the facility they have a small American Flag tucked away on the flag pole which is VERY hard to see. If you dont look behind the trees then you probably will not see it. It was very upsetting to see such a small flag compared to the beautiful display that they have on their driving range. I do not think that we will be spending any more time or money at their facility.
Good outdoor range hard to see with direct sun .
Staff was very knowledgeable and plesent to deal with. Very helpful!!!Thanks
Great selection and knowledgeable staff. Indoor and outdoor driving range to try out equipment. What else could you need?
Great selection, good prices, and very helpful staff.
Customer service was great!
They have a nice driving range. The problem is that once you park your car the walkway is always icy. They never seems to put anything down to help with defrosting the ice. I have seen a couple of people fall because of the ice on the walkway leading to the building. It makes no sense that you dont clear the ice on the walkway leading to the building and heated driving range. It is bad business but also setting themselves up for litigation if someone has a bad injury.
Immaculately clean with a wide variety of brands and products. Great location!
Excellent customer support, great selection. Knowledgeable staff.
The staff is amazing and the rewards program is the best around. I buy my ski and golf equipment here and only here.
Great retail showroom. Friendly staff
Good supply of golf gear, very poor supply of ski apparel. Seems like they should just stick to golf...
Wanted 2 wedges regripped... done while I waited out the in 15 minutes... awesome!.
Great friendly store. I bought a set of clubs, added some lenght to them and had larger grips put on them for my arthritis.
Good selection of clubs, friendly staff and an excellent driving range to demo equipment. Service a little slow.
This is the only place to go for golf equipment around here
These guys are awesome. Knowledgeable and patient.
All the employees were too busy taking with each other to even ask if they could help me. Horrible store with even worse employees. Wish I could give it negative stars but unfortunately I have to give them 1
Good service and fair prices.
Good selection but high prices.
Always have what I need and with great service
Great service and great people.
