Great carry out lunch choices including sweet potato fries - huge and yummy! I dont eat white potatoes so I was super excited to have these. Home cooked style lunch for $7. You cant beat it. Ive substituted it for fast food meals.Store clean with super courteous and helpful employees as usual!

I greatly appreciate the way this company treats their employees. The store is always very clean and neat. The employees are always courtesy and willing to help. But, the prices are very high, and many times the sell items arent displayed.

This was a great experience shopping here today. I received my Birthday Gift from Club Publix, therefore I selected to receive the x2 Jumbo Red Velvet Cupcakes & the young lady decorated them with beautiful blue sapphire birthday decor! She was so welcoming & wished me Happy Birthday! I shopped for other dinner items in the Seafood counter and frozen food items for the “Jeni’s Ice Cream for dessert! And it wouldn’t be complete without a Giant Happy Birthday Balloon, it was huge! The two young men assisted me with carrying it out to my car. We had to put it in the front passenger seat and seat belt in to hold it down! Lol! By the way, it’s a standing Robot with x5 candles on its head, the letters Happy Birthday across his face, a huge body, with large gold feet. It actually is free standing! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating! I bought Flowers for The Birthday Queen! Yessssss It Was A Happy Shopping Day All For ME!

Most of the employees are wonderful! But, most of the employees in the bakery department and one cashier in particular... lack basic customer service skills. This is not a post based on one visit, but over several months. If it were not for the wonderful employees there I would rate them 1 star.

Store is always neat and clean. Employees are very nice and helpful. Store is always stocked. The people working in the pharmacy are always respectful and helpful and very busy.

Publix is so busy between 5 and 6 pm. The store was a little warm and lines were long with limited open registers. Wishing this could be a little more efficient. Could only take away one star, because as usual, the service and variety of product is what keeps all of us going back.

Always clean, the workers are always eager to help. They workers all over the store speak and greet you. The bakery always have delicious, fresh, baked goods, amazing. The store always carry a variety of items and every day something good is on sale.

Customers are rude to visually impaired customers on a regular basis. I thought the 1st time was a one time thing but its happened everytime recently. Store employees and service is cool but the people are starting to act like Wal-mart customers grabbing the white cane, running over it with buggies, pushing visually impaired person aside. So rude, so inconsiderate. I have since decided to not visit as often and definitely not take MY SON

There is an associate as soon as you swipe she cleaning the pos. The cashier got the belt . Pitiful treatment of walk in customers at the hot food deli. If anyone desires to be served their food, should best CALL IN THE ORDER, for walk in customers are neglected over call in orders. After waiting for 45 mins for fried chicken, was told that a call in order of 100 pcs HAD to be filled first, so it would be ANOTHER 30 minute wait !!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!!

Employees are so courteous and friendly! Bakery Department went out of their way to prepare an odd Birthday dessert needed. 👍👍

Wow! First off, I love Publix in general! But my Hueytown Publix is exceptional! Their managers always make a point to say hello or give a smile, and all the employees in this store are particularly nice, greeting me and checking out my groceries with a smile! I will continue to shop here for all these reasons as well as their awesome deli department, complete with Boarshead cold cuts as well as fresh made hot foods as well! Lines are always long. They dont wont to check you out at customer service. Just want to do western union there. Said its a corporate thing. Out of deli items.

They are very nice just didnt have the ice cream my child was looking for so we just got a new kind they had a buy 1 get 1 free so all is well.

Most of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Theres a few that needs to be let go because of the way they treat customers, but other than that... its a nice clean friendly place to go shopping for food.

I love this supermarket for no other reason than they always have one or more of my favorite Ice creams.

Went to the deli today for a sub about 1:30. I asked for a chicken,pepperoni, and ham sub LIKE I ALWAYS DO at the other Publix. The Caucasian woman with the glasses ask what kind of chicken. I say regular Boars head no flavor. She says well they all have flavor. It’s like everything I said she had a comeback for. ORDERING A SUB should not be this hard lol. I’ve never had a experience like this. It got to the point where I just told her to suggest something. WHICH HEY MAYBE I SHOULD HELP THE CUSTOMER OUT. I’ve never ever had a problem ordering at the Hoover and homewood locattion. The girl that helped me was the worse. I WILL NOT BE BACK FOR SURE!!

This is a very clean store. No waiting in line long. Have a very good bakery that you can order. Has a variety of breads,cakes, and pies. Sells boar subways and hot meals.Has a good meat and fruit section. Can be pricey.

Ive been calling the deli morning noon and evening and no one answered the phone so I took my money to Walmart

I had an easy experience here but Id only recommend going here if you dont wanna wait in lines at Walmart, not because its worse but I got a few items and they were moldy (it was the fruit) but the desserts and meats I got from here were fresh.

I just go here for the deli cold fried chicken and chicken wings. You can purchase the cold deli items with EBT. Got a chicken pot pie for dinner, cant wait to try it.

I go here all the time. My son gets a free cookie at the bakery and someone is always their to say Hi to him. Associates are all over the floor if you ever need help. When I go without my husband the bagger is always willing to help me take my groceries to my car.

The store itself is pretty standard Publix. It’s nice and the people aren’t bad. I’m new to the Hueytown area and have been to this store five times. Four of those times there was someone sitting by the out door begging for money. One of the four times there were three people going from car to car begging for money, to the point of, before I could get out of my car one knocked on my window. I can understand it happening once in a while and that doesn’t bother me but it seems rather excessive at this location.

They just want it really that friendly at the end because I had a hard time getting my EBT card working. And as I was leaving I said have a good one and they didnt say a word to me theyre all just talkin. So really surprised me because I used to work at Publix in another county.and I know the policies youre posed to be friendly! I think I was just aggravating them maybe because it was getting close to closing I dont know but still. I mean I love yall Food Deli, Bakery. Yall have good deals. But I apologize for the aggravation
