Nice little local grocery store- my wife and I are new in town and they realized they didnt recognize me, asked a bit, and told me that in a community this size, they try to know everyone, and that they hoped I enjoyed it- a nice change of pace from spots like Whole Foods and Walmart Supercenter.

Local place that has basically everything that you need. Nice employees too. Great for when you don’t want that big giant store experience. Get in and out quick. Park in the rear.

Bigger than it looks! Great deli made sides! Had everything on the list for three vacationing familes with different likes, wants, and needs.

I think its great they have most anything that I go for. I remember when Riddles closed it was pretty inconvient for meats,produce,and groceries .You had to go a few miles to shop.

I went there hungry which us bad...LOLOL I left with many items quick check out they carry just about everything and really nice and helpful people.

Incompetent Deli staff, I ordered a pound of Boars Head pepperoni and they left the plastic wrapper on while slicing the meat. Discovered the plastic while eating a few slices. They sliced it so thin that you couldn’t remove the plastic from the slices.

Used to be riddles but still great! 🤑

I am very grateful for the Village Market. For me it means being able to walk to a supermarket with a basic selection of the food I love—organic fruit, vegetables, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, fish, olive oil, tomato sauce, bread and more. The people are super helpful. Thank You!

Pretty great selection of stuff. Little pricey, but its close and a local spot rather than a big chain. Definitely coming back here or all the groceries I need for vacation.

I like Village Market because of their fresh produce and other items I shop for, plus the atmosphere. Employees always are on hand to help me.

I went to the Village Market in Hull today, usually my husband goes and picks up a few things there. It was so dirty, inside and out...debris strewn all around the front entrance and on the sidewalk side of the building. Inside the floors were littered as well. The entrance and exit doors were full of hand prints. The store was a complete turn off and an awful representation of our beautiful Hull.

Produce & meat are always fresh, prices are reasonable for a smaller market, and staff is always warm and friendly. Happy to have this market in my neighborhood!

Great little store with everything you need

Nice small town store. Good selection of groceries, deli, meat, small produce section, dairy and small area of fresh baked breads/rolls. Convenient for the locals but a little more expensive then the bigger food stores. The meats in their meat department are usually priced well especially if purchased while on sale. Meat can be cut to order if needed for special occasions or holiday meals and are of a good quality. Most of the employees are nice and very helpful.

Good wide variety of products. A little too expensive for Hull. Good, efficient, pleasant CASHIERS. Refrigeration should be a little colder. Overall, I recommend this supermarket.

The only complaint I have is this:On Monday, October 15 I went to the market to buy onions which were advertised in the flyer to be on sale this week. Well, the place they should have been was empty, so I asked one of the men who were nearby if they had any. He was very helpful, went to find out, came back and said they were expecting a delivery momentarily. Well, I thanked him and went on to continue shopping. I decided to come back on Tuesday, October 16, which I did and found the onions. I went on to the Deli section to buy some Land o Lakes 4 cheese Italian cheese. The young man behind the counter was very attentive and looked everywhere (back room, front case, etc) but could not find any. He told me they didnt have any.These items were both in the weekly flyer, and should be available, especially by Tuesday when the advertised items should have been available as advertised.Love this market and go there at least 2 times a week, but I am losing interest if I cannot find items I need. I know a small market cannot be expected to stock everything, but at least they should have their advertised items.Please pay attention, customers depend on it.Thank you,Joanne HaradenHull, MA

Great staff! Friendly and engaging. The management is gradually adapting to requests and getting a better selection of higher quality foods. I look forward to there being a whole aisle dedicated to healthy choices soon... perhaps, instead of alcohol.

Nice selection of inventory, but, as the only full sized grocery store in town, it has monopoly pricing. Trader Joes, Food Club and Star Market are worth the drive.

If it wasnt for this place I would not been able to see I went to five stores and not one place had reading glasses anywhere. Also the prices were very affordable especially considering that Tedeschis is a tourist trap with their prices way jacked up than any other Tedeschis around in the area. I even bought some cleaning supplies and a few other items because it saved me from having to go all the way to Walmart because its a pretty long walk for me.

Convenient if you dont want to leave Hull but the prices are high.

Well stocked local store. Lots of snacks, beer and wine; obviously caters to the tourist destination of Hull. They carry two brands of 8-12 cup coffee filters, but do not stock the 2-6 cup basket size.

A decent market, not very clean and pricey. Eggs for $2.50?? Was able to get them at a convenience store down the road for $1.19.

I went to this supermarket on 2/23 for a few items, & was impressed with my visit, the gentleman in the deli was very helpful in helping us make out decision, & he was very calm in doing his job, while he was helping other customers in 2 departments..Its so quaint & comfy, kinda feel at home, definitely will be back!!

The prices are higher than Riddles was but it still has alot of the same items too ! A really good small local market to shop at ! They should stay open much later though in the Summer ! Good liquor and beer prices !

It is so great to have The Village Market open, with well stocked shelves, fresh produce, their butcher department and a good selection of fresh fish! Whoo-hoo! They hope to have their credit card service working by Dec 20th (2017) and maybe their liquor license by Dec 31st - call ahead to make sure. The store has that Hull welcome atmosphere, including smiling faces at the cash register, like Angelas. Stop by and make the Market know Hulls glad to have them!

Wonderful staff, very good variety for the space, fair prices, pull stock in by request, very good sales rotation, wide variety of foods, and very quick to move you through the store at the register to help you find odd things in the store.

Atrociously disgusting place with empty shelves, no healthy food, a stench of burnt roast chicken stuck to everything, including the gross carpet they have. Who keeps carpet in a supermarket in New England? Are you trying to have a soggy, moldy store during winters? The owners clearly hate the town or they would have closed already and let someone else succeed where theyve failed miserably.
